Christopher Daniels vs. Eddie Kingston

[6.0] "Middle aged Eddie Kingston and Christopher Daniels pulling down the straps for a chop fest and then tiring out halfway through like the old dads they are is fucking perfection, everything I love about this business god damnit. ***"

[8.0] "Very fun TV main event and underrated I'd say. Kingston fought hard and with lots of grit as usual, and also took the time to show greatest focus and strategy in advance of his match with Claudio. Daniels is past his prime but still brings some solid stuff."

[6.0] "Props to Ring of Honor for giving us a main event between two independent wrestling legends. Christopher Daniels has still got it and Eddie Kingston is a fan favorite for a reason. They beat the tar out of one another and really showcased how important it is to Kingston that he becomes the top champion in the company. I also genuinely laughed when Daniels put the straps back up after he realized how red his chest had become. Start to finish, a really enjoyable match that was a solid main event. 3 stars, 6 out of 10."

[6.0] "Super solid (and basic) match but perfect for pupping up the ppv match of Kingston. Good main event so."

[6.0] "First time in nearly 13 years that these two faced since their CHIKARA match. I liked that match more which got more time but this was fine."

[6.0] "Just a working duel that two experienced wrestlers worked out in good faith. I dont think that the main event of the show should look like this, but if you dont cling to this detail, then its quite a strong fight. Christopher generally pleases with his form, and looking great at his age is worthy of respect. I never liked Eddie, but he did an excellent job and there were no questions for him either."

[6.0] "One of my favorites from TNA against one of my favorites from AEW. This was a tune-up for Kingston before his ROH World title match the next day. It was going along at a good pace for their age and styles but the chop battle took me out a little bit, the crowd liked it though. The ending was good on paper but bad in execution."

[7.0] "Eddie Kingston is in the Main Event of the Supercard of Honor, and this match is a good encapsulation of what he is all about for those who for whatever reason never seen him before, Daniels is pretty much a perfect opponent to make matches like this work. Kingston's post-match promo was exactly what it needed to be - as he said, 'If you won't buy this PPV, you will feel like shit'."
