[6.0] "A fairly fun opener, but nothing spectacular by any means. It's always a treat to see Sting compete, and I liked that he leaned into Cassidy's gimmick with his kicks and with beating his chest. Cassidy and Allin did their things as well. I think the trio of Sabian, Butcher, & Blade is solid, but I doubt they'll do anything of note, unfortunately."
[7.0] "Sabian and Butcher & Blade are a natural pairing while the babyface squad was, for sure, massively over. Good storytelling point with Allin feeling a bit out of the party, but did what he had to do for the team. Pretty fun bout and showcase for everybody involved. Sting stills cool even after five decades of career."
[6.0] "Just gotta love how much Sting is enjoying this part of his career. We hadn't seen him in awhile, but he lived up to the goody but undeniably exciting shenanigans that we've seen in Sting's matches this whole run. Darby and OC brought good energy, and Kip and BnB played perfect foil. Good shitshit pal."
[6.0] "A fun opener, with Sting doing his Cassidy impressions being the undoubted highlighted. Darby staring at the Double or Nothing sign after was such a WWE move though and brings this down a notch. ***"
[5.0] "Felt like a weirdly passionless affair, as if most everyone was sort of just going through the motions. Always a great to see Sting though, and I certainly don't expect him to be throwing himself through a stack of tables every night. Fine for what it was."
[6.0] "I'm sick of Orange Cassidy... Since his debut in AEW, he hasn't changed much, and considering how often he's shown on TV, it's pretty boring... Actually, the same can be said about Darby. Of this trio, at least Stmng was a little pleased with original tricks. Their opponents today were The Blade & The Butcher - a great team with a unique look, good skills in the ring and terrible booking. And also Kip Sabman, who hasn't been on TV for a very long time. I'm glad that the underestimated guys were given such an opportunity, but at the same time they were not selected very legitimately. This is especially true of Sting's unconvincing dominance over Butcher. Very mixed viewing experience. A normal match, in which all the players played their roles well, but not the best booking. ***"
[9.0] "Pretty much everything you could have wanted from an opening match. Clearly defined heels and faces, innovative team work, and the right result."
[7.0] "Every time we have the chance to see Sting wrestle is special. The chemistry with Darby is undeniable at this point, seeing Sting doing the OC spots like rolling to get away from the dive was hilarious! Very good opener and like I said every time that we as fans get another Sting match is special in so many ways."
[8.0] "Super fun match all around, Sting doing the OC shtick. Kip being the great heal. Everyone else getting their spots in and having fun. Great opener."
[6.0] "Good match. Good opener. Good to see the Icon Sting still has it as his career is starting to really wind down. It is going to be interesting to see what comes from this final run."
[6.0] "Satisfactory opener: very basic but solid stuff. Godd work by the heels and good comeback by the babyfaces. Sting is old and can just do those 4/5 moves but it's okay because everytime "he payed tribute" to Orange Cassidy he was hilarious. Allin and Cassidy did their usual moves and Sabian looked very good. Good opener. 6/10 - 3.25*/5*"
[6.0] "This was fine. I think it mostly stands out because sting is in though. I am very glad he's still wrestling and he will me missed when he retires. I enjoyed Sting doing Orange Cassidy's kicks that was a good comedy spot. A satisfactory way to start off Dynamite, but outside of Sting's spots perhaps a bit forgettable."
[6.0] "A good fight to start the show and with a great detail for Sting. No doubt seeing The Icon again is a source of pride, also followed some of the Darby Allin storyline. And as always, Orange Cassidy being Freshly Squeezed."
[5.0] "As much as I like them, B&B hindered this one. They don't have the best timing in these multi-man affairs. Kip is improving, a little sad to see him take the fall. Always good to see a Sting inning."
[7.0] "I am always happy to see Sting on my TV. Shockingly I am also starting to enjoy Kip Sabian which I never thought I would say. Sting pops up delivers the fan service and gets out. I am always happy with that in my TV wrestling."
[5.0] "I can't even stand OC's style let alone Stong adopting it. For me personally it's a 1 but I don't rate like that, instead I recognize the people in the arena loved it and a lot of people at home as well."
[5.0] "This match was just an average match to start Dynamite, but we saw some good moments, The fact that I still see Sting in the ring is very good. 5/10"
[6.0] "This was a fun opener simply because it threw Sting, Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy on a single team. We knew their opponents wouldn't have a chance but it was still fun seeing everyone getting in their shots. ***"
[7.0] "I like to watch Sting do Sting things in AEW, there's something wonderful about seeing him nowadays in these trios matches and this was no different. The circumstances are irrelevant. The Butcher also rules though. ***1/4"
[6.0] "A fine match. OC is overexposed for me and I dont know if Ill ever understand AEWs fascination with Kip Sabian. Crowd liked seeing Sting and the match was solid."
[6.0] "Getting tired of OC. He is a good wrestler, but his gimmick I feel doesnt lend to being on every Dynamite as the opener. I know the crowds like him and thats why hes the opener for every show. Kip Sabian is boring. Good to see Sting back in the ring though."
