Drew McIntyre & Sheamus vs. Karrion Kross vs. LA Knight vs. Xavier Woods

[6.0] "It was a nice match, could've been better with some more action and with less people involved (Kross was a waste of space in the match). I would rate this *** 1/4, but that finish was awful. Not the result, that was the right call, but the execution. First of all, why having a second referee in ringside? If the main referee is not able to see a pinfall or submission attempt, that adds some value to the match, but the whole thing was an excuse to have two pinfalls at the same time, which could have been done with just one referee. It was an horrible idea. One thing I loved about the match is the story with Sheamus and Drew. Sheamus is hurt and feels betrayed by Drew, but they didn't touch each other even once in the match. I can wait to see the Triple Threat (***)"

[8.0] "It was expected to have a screwed-up ending, but what we had was really a different way of prolonging the result. I'm not sure why we had an outside referee, but it felt right for a multi-man match. However, it's the action that made this one such a fun starter of the show. All men had a chance to shine even though the spotlight is on Drew & Sheamus. Xavier became the MVP suddenly in his window of opportunity which was excellent. I need him to face WALTER at least once before his reign is over. 3.75 out of 5 stars!"

[7.0] "A fun match with good dynamics that didn't let you get bored. There was some action going on all the time in the ring and the ending of maich was really interesting and unique. ***1/2"

[6.0] "Pretty fun opener for this week's SmackDown. The double pin was the expected result and I think it was done well, as both men actually went for the cover at the same time. Everyone else had moments to shine here as well, and I'm glad that they opted to put Woods in rather than make it a 4-Way. As much as it sucks that Kofi got injured, I really hope Woods can have some sort of singles run where he can shine and show everyone just how good he really is."

[6.0] "A fine enough match to open smackdown and decided who will face Gunther at Wrestlemania, the finish was an interesting one, ultimately a forgettable bout."

[5.0] "It was alright. Nothing really stood out. The double pin was predictable but as long as we get the Triple Threat, I guess it ain't too bad. **1/2"

[7.0] "I thought this was a good match with it mainly revolving around Drew/Sheamus, although Woods had a period in this match where he looked really good. But the ending to this was so forced with them just coincidentally having two refs at standby lol.***1/2"

[7.0] "The sign that this match was a good watch was me forgetting that the rumors were for a triple threat at WM and even after seeing 2 refs in this match I still didn't see the ending coming. This was a good 5 way match"

[4.0] "Very average opening match. I don't recall any botches so it wasn't totally bad. The ending was hilarious."

[8.0] "A good multi man match here, which had surprisingly had Xavier Woods as the MVP, which is something you love to see."

[5.0] "A couple of fun spots but the rest was painfully slow and boring. It felt like everyone was coasting a lot of the time. And then the booking for the finish was so corny. **3/4"

[7.0] "Somehow, the guys were slowly accelerating, but in the end they gave out quite a decent spectacle. The ending captivates with its unusualness. And it seems that everyone expected a similar result, but it's still interesting to watch."

[8.0] "Good match of good workers doing good work. The screwy finish was unexpected but good and really pushing the breakdown of the Sheamus/McIntyre allyship again and hopefully their rematch from the absolutely superb donnybrook match from 2022 will live up to the billing."

[6.0] "As expected, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus got the double pin as they've been the two rumoured to challenge GUNTHER at WrestleMania. Nothing special to get them there considering two of their opponents, and Xavier Woods subbing in for Kofi Kingston."

[5.0] "This was always going to be the direction they went in but I have to admit it was still rather disappointing. Surely the better move would have just for Sheamus to have won clean and then they pick up him vs Drew after Mania? Lazy booking, **1/2."

[8.0] "Great Five Way match in the best recent Smackdown tradition. Strong moves, good psychology and a super solid booking."

[8.0] "It was a pretty solid opening contest that got a lot of time. There weren't a lot of false finishes which was a bit of a surprise but a welcome one. Good action and sequences throughout. The finish was a bit silly especially with the two referees, and all it did was set up another match for next week which will likely yield the same result tonight did. Good match but the booking here is a bit silly. [***3/4]"
