[6.0] "Gunns def. JJJ, Acclaimed and orangehausen 6/10 - not the worst match but a little to much going on and also the rules being wishy washy but the Gunns retained which legitimized there reign before they lose to ftr which is set up here ."
[3.0] "This was a mess lol I remember the build being terrible and the clown Danhausen of all people being involved in tag team wrestling was truly bizzarre. This match ended being a forgettable defense in a forgettable title run for the gunns. They really killed Acclaimed's popularity for no reason, I still don't understand why they couldn't just do FTR vs them. It would have been a great match and you could have just made the transition far less painful because everything following that decision turned out to be a disaster."
[4.0] "LMAO how did Danhausen vs Satnam Singh get the biggest pop of the night? Two of these teams are basically just thrown together and this match only happened so the FTR spot at the end could happen. A complete mess for most of it, but those last couple minutes were great."
[5.0] "[2.5*] This was a fun match. Like every Team TNA one it was not a wrestling masterclass obviously but I was very entertained by it and it made me laugh."
[6.0] "I thought this was a good match, very funny and entertaining. It had fulfilled its purpose and clearly made for the fans. A nice enjoyable stop before a long main event - {***}"
[6.0] "This was another fun match for the show, but nothing particularly special or anything. Everyone here got a chance to shine, which was great. The Gunns getting the win was fine, but I'm still not a huge fan of their in-ring work. FTR returning after the match was cool, though."
[8.0] "This match was actually surprisingly good? Not sure why it has such a low rating. If I had to give it an overall rating, I'd give it an 8. It was a fun match, and the crowd was very hot for it but I can tell why people didn't like it as the PPV was already very long and people just wanted to get to the main event instead of sitting through another match. still though I would say this is one you should go out of your way to see. Oddly enough, Jarret and Lethal were the highlights of this match along with OC and Danhausen. The Acclaimed and the Gunns (except Billy) were pretty mid."
[6.0] "The beginning with Cassidy and Danhausen was great and I liked the Gunns/Lethal & Jarret "working relationship" but the expectations that I had were matched in the second part of this match as the action wasn't very good despite a good Satnam Singh interference. Wasn't as bad as some people say but wasn't very good either but I save it because of the great beginning. Overall enjoyable but nothing worth re-watching and, quite frankly, totally skippable. 6/10 - 3*/5*"
[6.0] "I actually forgot about this match and YOU CAN IMAGINE my disappointment when I realised it wasnt main event time. The Gunns are the best team in this which is a problem. Acclaimed are fine, Orange is a decent singles act but the rest? Sigh. The match is even pretty solid and serves a comedic purpose pretty well. The fans were into it so its better than Joe/Wardlow but its a pretty solid example of why AEWs tag division SUCKS. Youve got the BCC, Naturally Limitless, Young Bucks, House of Black as well as stars like Miro, Andrade and others doing NOTHING but Jeff Jarrett gets a PPV match. SIGH. Gunns retain which is the right call. ***"
[4.0] "This match just really missed the mark for me. A part of it likely is a lot of sour grapes at The acclaimed losing the belts so abruptly into their momentum, but I think a lot of the interest going into a match should go into a rating, and this one just left me personally disinterested. It just felt like a huge excuse to get OC on the card without much reason, and so that FTR could make their returns on a PPV. Just sour for me."
[3.0] "Another messed up build. The match wasn't very good and they've just killed The Acclaimed. The title switch would have made a bit more sense if the intention was for them to win it back here but we got a random four way and no logical resolution."
[4.0] "Pretty typical AEW style multi team tag match, nothing spectacular but hardly offensive either. Orange Cassidy and The Acclaimed were the highlight performers in the match."
[7.0] "When I saw the final layout of this match, my expectations for a wrestling driven version simply lowered. The comedic elements worked so well along with a nice ample mix of action. Every team proved their worth of being here in their chances. The Gunns easily took the win off the others, much to their dismay immediately as their celebration was cut short by the returning FTR. Now, I expect a shorter wait time to strap the rockets on FTR because no matter how hard these teams try, the Gunns inexperience leads to not-so-good storylines. So, I hope the creative dont fumble that part & do the right thing faster. 3.25 out of 5 stars!"
[6.0] "Even though that was fun Cassidy as well as Lethal and Jarrett being the most relevant guys that wasn't PPV worthy, especially giving the ton of talent the tag division has. All teams' overness saved the shit, in fact. The Gunns looked good, these shitheads are really relevant in their roles."
[5.0] "Too boring and slow for a 4-team match (and that's not even counting interference and an overly active referee). It had good moments, but overall it was a very chaotic spectacle. It feels like the participants of the match simply could not work together. **1/2"
[6.0] "Had it's moments, but the match just served as a break before the big main-event. I loved danhausen stuff, yet we so little of Cassidy that I thought why would you put them ther instead of a team like Best Friends, who clearly need more screen time? Gunns won, as expected and we saw a comeback of FTR. Guess we are seeing their second reign pretty soon."
[6.0] "This was decent but definitely below the standard for AEW tag title matches on PPV. More of a party match with lots of comedy spots which is fine, It just wasn't that memorable. The Ass Boys will surely lose the Belts to FTR and will have a forgettable transitional title run under their belts to give them more legitimacy in the tag division."
[7.0] "I wasn't looking forward to this match but it ended up being a fun time. I was even fooled when JJ was celebrating prematurely. This was a great match before the hour long epic that was to come after. The eventual winners can be explained away with the immediate return of FTR after this match"
[8.0] "Since its announcement I wanted to see this match. I have to say that I like these types of matches with a lot of people in it, because I know they are always a big mess but they end up being a lot of fun to watch. And this match was no exception, it was really fun. And it couldn't have been otherwise, since EVERYTHING happened: dives, interferences, curses, Orange Cassidy (he was fantastic here), the referee cheered on by the crowd and a lot of bodies running here and there. A nice way to turn on the crowd before the main event"
[7.0] "Match itself was okay, would have been 90% better without OC & Danhausen. Acclaimed always entertaining, Gunns more impressive each week, and Triple J did their thing putting 'em over. Gave an extra point for the return of FTR!"
[4.0] "This match was the object of much ridicule heading into the show, and it could have been a trainwreck but in context, this was probably better than anyone could have hoped. Danhousen standing up to Singh got a big reaction, and Jarrett is one of the best minds in wrestling, constantly able to get heat in a company where the fans want to like you. This was anything but a serious or even good match, but for the titles apparently being fodder for now, I think it could have gone a lot worse."
"Honestly, Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett deserved those titles before any of the teams involved. Danhausen was awful and he was only there to receive the pin, why would OC tag with him in an important match like this? Doesn't make any sense"
[6.0] "It was probably better than I expected but I just want to point out two silly rules. 1. AEW adopting WWE's no-DQ rule for multi-way matches. I know they have had this for a while but it's so stupid! 2. Only two legal teams for a PPV match? Lame!"
[0.0] "How do you have a better 4-way tag match in F#CKING Rampage than in your PPV with the tag titles in the line, this was WWE levels of bad for the tag division, and why did Aubrey stop the guitar shot is no DQ, she can't let a lot of interferences but the guitar shot is to much? I hope after this the tag division is back to form because if this continues and FTR goes back to WWE, this would be AEW biggest mistake"
[6.0] "I was not excited for this match. In a vacuum, it looked like hot garbage. But after watching the show up to this point, it's placement and purpose was a lot clearer. I enjoyed the action and the entertainment value of this. FTR coming out at the end was a jolt of energy for the tag division. It planted the seeds well for the next chapter."
[5.0] "I'm personally not a big fan of the AEW tag scene right now, two of these tag teams are essentially thrown together and one is a fairly underserving pair of champions. The Gunns retaining is fine, they are getting some good heat and they still have more story to tell before The Acclaimed win the titles back. The FTR return was a good pop and is what this match will be remembered for. This tag match had some fine action, by no means a poor match, just very crowded and goes how you'd expect a match with these eight men to go."
[5.0] "Honestly I hated this match when it was announced, but it was kind of fun. A good match to put before the main event. FTR1s return was exciting, but the Gunns are absolutely not champion material and the worst parts of the match were definitely when they were doing basically anything."
[4.0] "A match without real prestige, the Gunns were jobbers a month ago and the challengers had little credibility. Fortunately, FTR is back and I hope this return will be the revival of the tag team division that needs it."
[7.0] "Fun match. My favorite part of the match was seeing Billy Gunn hit the Fameasser on Satnam Singh. I thought it looked rather impressive. I do think having the Gunns retain is a bit a head scratcher. Hopefully it's so FTR can win the titles, which would make sense I guess. The crowd popped big for FTR's return after the match which was a fun moment. 7/10"
[5.0] "Match wasnt very good but it had its moments. satnam getting hit by billy gunn was funny, danhausen actually wrestling was weird to see, hes not bad. acclaimed and the gunns were the main focus, and the gunns retain, which i would disagree with, but FTR returned and are gonna win the belts which is cool. match was **3/4 but ftr returning gets a 5 star"
[5.0] "It was alright I guess. Like the TNT match, this was acceptable as a TV match but not a ppv level match. As far as action goes, I think it was much better than the TNT match but there was no heat here other than the fact that the crowd hated The Gunns. The four teams here utterly lacked chemistry, it felt like they were just going through the motion. Post match was what everyone was waiting for. **3/4"
[7.0] "While not a technical masterclass by any means, I really enjoyed this match. This is the kind of fun we needed on this show somewhere and we got it. Everybody brought their best comedic chops to this and put on a great performance. There were also some pretty good actual wrestling thrown in there too. As soon as danhausen was put in the match I knew he'd take the fall for the Gunns to retain, but it was still a pretty good match."
[2.0] "Frustratingly obnoxious in its cloying attempts at humor, this tag match (with some of the worst tag rules in wrestling, stop having only two teams in the ring at a time in multi-team matches) failed to wow in any substantial way, and if anything elicited constant eye-rolls. Thank God for the return of FTR, this promotion's tag division desperately needs them."
[4.0] "This was the bathroom break match of the night. Totally deflating finish with the Gunns winning, but at least FTR's return was a nice surprise. Hopefully FTR win the belts and get a nice lengthy reign. **"
[6.0] "Decent action with no one looking great or awful. Danhausen had a decent innings, but ultimately this was about elevating the weak tag division."
[4.0] "Serviceable is the word I would choose. The Gunns were good in the moments they had, they're natural shithead heels. Triple J and crew filled their roles well. The Acclaimed were a bit of a miss for me here, but the most glaring issue I saw was Orange Cassidy and Danhausen just checking out of an entire chunk of the match. No explanation, you just see Orange laying on the floor in the corner, watching. I don't care if that's his gimmick, he still has to be an active participant in the match, and his comedy spots just didn't work for me in this context. This would have been a great TV match. It wasn't PPV quality, even for a comedy based match. Oh and FTR returned."
[4.0] "The hot crowd was fun. Luckily the post match grabbed a big pop because the end result went over badly with them. A lot of 4 team gaga in this one. 4 way tags just never come off well. Too difficult to get a flow or logic injected and it showed. Danhausen in the match only to take the fall. The Gunns completely rip everything about shawn michaels except his in ring ability unfortunately. they are decent at times, but this was a bit of a cluster. hoping this just leads to FTR getting the belts. **"
[7.0] "This match was light and fun, and just what we needed before MJF/Danielson. The ending was a little screwy, but it lead to a good post - match angle."
[6.0] "Mostly genuinely quite good, but wow that finish was overbooked and nonsensical. Acclaimed robbed by... taking away a weapon in a no DQ match? Minutes after there was seemingly no issue with back to back outside interference? And then Danhausen gets pinned for the chaotic retain? I hate to put down this match cuz I think everyone involved did a good job (even The Gunns, who I think are radically overhated) but bookingwise, that finish is just bad and doesn't really put anyone over, and the whole thing feels like it's trying to cram too much into a sub-15 minute match. I hate to call things "overbooked" but this probably could have used a little more time just cuz it feels like The Gunns are struggling to put themselves over with the small amount of time they get to really justify themselves as the capable tag team I know they can be. I appreciate some of the creativity that went into this 4-way schmoz but I think it'd have been better as a simple 2v2 rematch between The Acclaimed and The Gunns."
[4.0] "A comedy match, kinda fun. It didn't do anyone any favors, aside from the comedy wrestlers. The bathroom match of this show. I'm glued they kept this stuff (mostly) confined to this match. Still not nearly as much rehearsed looking stuff or burying of the referee as the young bucks match. This did kinda bury the tag titles but I think that's kinda the point with the guns having them right now. Everyone hit their marks well in this. Probably a skip unless you're into seeing these ring dramas play out. I am not and I still found things to enjoy."
[7.0] "As expected from these teams, this was mostly a comedy match, but there were enough genuinely talented wrestlers here to keep it technically sound and the comedy was mostly good. The FTR return was timed well, and popped the crowd that went entirely silent at the Ass Boys winning - some very clever booking there."
[5.0] "This match felt like it was just put together it was okay but nothing special the only good thing was FTR returning other than that it is boring. **1/2"
[6.0] "This was a solid match with some fun spots and I thought every team played their role well here. This was a match someone probably enjoys more if they were in the crowd. I could've done without that Satnam Singh spot at the end though felt unnecessary, and thankfully Danhausen ate the pin.***"
[1.0] "I do not understand the rules for these four way tag matches. It's completely unfollowable and unpleasant to watch. The right people won, and the FTR appearance post-match was cool, and there was some fun crowd-pandering at the start of the match; but this was chaos."
