[8.0] "These two aren't the most dynamic brawlers, so the connective fisticuffs did plod somewhat, but everything else here delivered exactly what the CZW faithful expects from a Cage of Death - brutal, skin shredding violence, crazy dangerous stunts & bumps, and perhaps most importantly, strong selling and character work which hardwired the fans' rabid emotional investment ****"

After the pins, the action felt slow and sparse, though they clearly had to build up the excitement and suspense for the spots. The spots were brutal; they were intense and slow (but in a good way). Matt's win was the best decision; the crowd went wild for him. If you want to see something methodical and bloodthirsty, I recommend it."

Like ok, you fell through your 9th pane of glass, the first 8 didn't phase you much so it kind of lost it's charm. Also I generally find DJ Hyde to be not great and I wasn't impressed here either, Tremont was by far the better of the two if you like this kind of thing."

[10.0] "The most loathed man in CZW versus the up and coming babyface star Matt Tremont. Despite his size, his frog splash from on top of the cage was practically perfect. His selling was great, and at times looked like he was on his last breath. The Death Valley driver from off the top of the cage was so berserk that they broke the floor underneath them. What an amazing blood feud and the ultimate way to end it all."

[7.0] "Tremont/Hyde focused very much on standard deathmatch spots, nothing much original or impressive here. Where it succeeds is getting people invested in the match, with a clear babyface and heel, and a big finishing move, altough the huge interval between the move and the pinfall is obnoxious and breaks disbelief instead of adding credibility. Very much a match and a feud of its time, a critical success and estimed by the fans that helped make Matt Tremont a CZW staple, but looking back you can see the glaring flaws and be critical of them, while also appreciating the match for what it was."

[9.0] "This COD had a very long heated feud and build behind it. DJ vs Tremont was the ultimate baby face vs heel boss match. Great crowd reaction & atmosphere. Big impact stuff, bloody, heated and violent. They put their bodies on the line and delivered a truly high profile main event, which gave the crowd what they wanted. Very nice peak for the great feud. Epic finish. Still i would rate some of the classic CODīs ahead of this."
