[7.0] "Awesome Torneo Cibernetico! So many great sequences, Soberano vs Templario, Mistico's comeback against a triple team, the final two. I am surprised this hasn't gotten more buzz."

[7.0] "This was a great and enjoyable match. The majority of the match was non stop frenetic action with lots of crazy high spots showcasing the insane skill and athleticism of the competitors, especially Soberano Jr. Unfortunately, Soberano was eliminated about 2/3 of the way through which clearly disappointed the crowd as well as myself, and the match died down considerably thereafter. Once down to four, eliminating Mistico before Guerrero seemed another odd choice, but the final two of Templario, who was runner up for match MVP behind Soberano, and Rojo made sense as they were building something between them. I feel a bit stingy only giving a 7, but the elimination of Soberano really did suck the life out of the match, a 7.5 would probably be most accurate."

[9.0] "This was a fantastic piece of lucha libre from everyone involved no more and no less, so much to say about this match that I finally don't even know what to say, in fact I thought it was really perfect and I don't think it could have been done better than this. I think there have been better Torneo Cibernetico's than this one in history of course, be it in CMLL or even in CHIKARA in the past, but this year's edition was really great to watch from start to finish with catchy action, a lot of great spots, beautiful moves but most of all a good booking. The pop that Mistico gets for his entrance into the match and for the rest of the match is insane, he's the biggest draw in this country and the idea of leaving him alone against the three heels at the end of the match was good. Maybe not convinced by the result but everyone was insane in this match, especially Soberano Jr. so watch this and you'll have a good time."

It eventually drained my enthusiasm but a lot of the spots were beautiful, even with some cases of obvious collaboration, and particularly in the very fast early stages this was a great example of the fun, colorful, popcorn entertainment that lucha libre can be."
