[6.0] "A fun match but one that unfortunately felt a bit too rushed for me to rate it higher. They had very active and evenly matched back-and-forth right from the start, with the first signs of a story appearing when Dia started his face-in-peril segment in response to YamaDoi's nicely aggressive and energetic control work (with both wrestlers impressing both as individuals and as a tag team). Sadly neither Dia's face-in-peril segment nor YamaDoi's control segment lasted as long as they should've before Dia and Kid got back to even ground, but at least both Dia's comeback and Kid's entrance into the match were exciting with their variety of flashy and speedy attacks. This naturally picked the match's pace up quite a lot, with all 4 guys then racing around hitting their various exciting signature moves with very good technique. This did all feel like they'd rushed the standard structure of "early babyface shine, heel control segment, babyface comeback, 50/50 trades", so then no single segment of this structure was as interesting or convincing compared to if they'd taken more time fleshing each one out, but nonetheless I did still enjoy how fast-paced and constantly evolving the match was as a result. It also of course helped that their rapid big-move trades were so well-executed, but I did find the finishing stretch itself a slight bit underwhelming. They probably needed this to have another 5 total minutes somewhere in the first half, just so it didn't feel so much like a clipped version of a 20-minute match, but it was certainly still quite good. ***1/4"
[7.0] "A nice little throwback to a more popular, exciting period in Dragongates history when 3 of these men were at their peak, with Dragon Dia thrown in the mix to add some new blood into the match. YAMADoi is back together for the purposes of the tournament and even as someone on the fringes of the DG fandom should be aware of this team and their significance within the system. YAMATO and Doi use their experience to control the early parts of the match, rough housing Dia, playing the de facto heels (like they were during their Mad Blankey/Verserk days). The fans caught on to that story quickly, getting behind Dia and Dragon Kid. Kid and Dia bring a flashy, high flying style to the match which works against their opponents who are focusing on a more tactical, slower approach. Of course, Doi does his things every now and again.I think this progresses nicely, creating solid sequences throughout the match while keeping with the foundations set in the early parts of it. The finish wasnt blow-out amazing but it ended nicely. YAMATO pins Dia to get the points in the tournament. ***1/2"
[6.0] "Ein typisches Dragon Gate Match mit tollen Spots in starker Geschwindigkeit, durchgehend. Das Finish fand ich besonders gut, weil YAMATO extra noch einen nachsetzen musste. 6/10 Brote"
[7.0] "Pretty good DG type match where everyone works fast. The first minutes were slow due to YAMADoi working with the crowd but it went pretty fast after 5mins or so. Kid & Doi had the best performance of the match. Dia also had a strong showing with YAMATO at the end. (***1/2)"
[9.0] "This felt like classic DG (especially since 3 of the 4 WERE classic DG), and everyone in the match is a great talent. If YAMADoi stays this consistent throughout the tournament, I hope we're in for a long-term reunion and maybe even another Twin Gate run."
[8.0] "A super fast paced match with all incredible spots you'd expect out of Dia and Dragon Kid, alongside Yamato and Doi still working as excellently as ever. Some of the wild spots like Kid's Super Hurricanrana being reversed into a makeshift Power Bomb by Doi and the frantic near fall sequence at the end made this really memorable."
