[7.0] "Another fun match between these two. It typically sucks how obviously telegraphed these 2/3 falls matches are, since you *know* it's always going to end up tied before going into the 3rd and decisive fall, and you can usually always bet that both guys' first falls will be achieved in pretty underwhelming fashion. Despite those limitations, I still enjoyed this quite a bit. The match opened with some overly cooperative but still somewhat fun grappling exchanges, with Templario establishing himself as the unsporting heel and Soberano establishing himself as the fiery and admirable babyface. It was really impressive as they dug into their more athletically complex lucha exchanges, with their effortlessness being both a positive and a negative, since on one hand it was cool just how easily they could pull off those stunts, but at the same time that ease also dampened the illusion of this being a fully competitive match. Templario getting a lucky quick counter pin off of Soberano's aerial attack was well-executed and appropriately made Soberano more sympathetic for the remainder of the match. Templario's heel control work following that was good, and Soberano made an energetic (albeit annoyingly quick) comeback to regain control and earn his own 1st fall. Their more crazy stunts came out once the 3rd fall was finally in play, all of which were quite fun and occasionally even great, even if their obvious cooperation was still an annoying constant. I'd have needed a better display of 'wrestling fundamentals' to rate this higher, but I definitely still enjoyed it. ***1/4"
[9.0] "Great main event between Templario and Soberano Jr. right here that deserves to be talked about a lot more because the fact that this match took place at the beginning of the year and I never heard about it on social medias is criminal when you see the quality of this one, I promised to watch CMLL regularly this year, I started with Romero vs Volador Jr. and I can tell you that I don't regret it after watching a match like this. A qualitative Best Two Out Of Three Falls between two very good performers who know each other by heart, who have a history together and you could feel that animosity & that chemistry. A main event of twenty minutes with everything that's so qualitative in a CMLL match, pure lucha libre with a lot of spots and great sequences, this was fire and especially those last minutes."
[9.0] "Great lucha match, not as amazing as their barn burner last year but even so the chemistry and talent is really apparent with these two, top notch work."
[7.0] "After their heck of a match last year, I was excited to watch another one, especially when we couldnt get one at the Anniversario (well potentially) due to injury. Strong lock up to start the match before the two exchange and work a few surfboards. The first fall follows that pattern of the two mirroring each other and playing to the crowd until Templario rolls through and pins Soberano Jr after a spinning splash attempt. Templario then goes to the apron and points out a little kid whos dressed up like him. I love lucha so much. Templario continued his form into the second fall, catching Soberano, who is mid-air, with a sweet dropkick. Soberarno flipped around and landed hard on the canvas. Templario batters Soberano with kicks as well. No matter the position of the ring, he would find a way to boot Soberano in the chest. But Soberano caught him out with a springboard dropkick to even up the falls. So quick and precise from Soberano. The final fall escalated things greatly: a dive over the turnbuckle was busted out by Soberano Jr, Templario hit his amazing pop up powerbomb that Soberano took wonderfully, a running over the top rope flip piledriver. That only got a two count though. But Soberarno quickly followed up with one on the outside which got a much closer two count. A genuine good nearfall there. However, a third piledriver was the closing trick that got Soberano Jr the win. An awesome match towards the end with the two falls before it really being solid building blocks. ***1/2"
[9.0] "In the first fall Soberano Jr. showcased some of high flashy offense, but Templario reversed Twisting Top Rope Splash and pinned Soberano. Templario started really dominating in the second fall, but Soberano Jr. found a moment to quickly cut him off, followed up with a Leg Drop off the top rope and got the pin. Third fall had it all - cool moves, one-upmanship, big high-spots and awesome looking Pop Up Powerbomb by Templario too. Really fun match that made both wrestlers look good - Templario was impressive, but Soberano Jr. was better this time. ****"
[8.0] "This was very good but was far below the level of their previous match. It were a lot of great athletic spots, but this match had a slow and unimpressive grappling start and went without the same intensity that Soberano Jr. and Templario captured together in the past. ***3/4"
