Both guys had great chemistry, and the mix of Mundo's parkour-style offense with Puma's explosiveness made for a really fun match. The pacing was strong, and the action never really slowed down, though it lacked a bit of storytelling depth to push it to the next level. |

The final few minutes were highly intense, especially when the score was all tied up. Awesome match. |

Largely logical structuring of an Iron Man paid off in a satisfying way and looping back nicely to existing stories. One absolutely poisonous moment where Johnny no-sells the biggest spot of the match to that point with the Michinoku Driver through the box, and immediately goes into his 3 win control streak. It's not a fighting spirit spot, it's not an adrenaline spot, it's honest to god no-selling and it knocks an entire point off the match for me. |

Johnny Mundo's consecutive pins, the interaction with the band and the spot with the tables, let's not even talk about it. I liked the appearance of Alberto el Patron helping Prince Puma in combat, although Puma could stand alone. 9/10 |

It starts off evenly matches with more technical sequences and two, qucik roll up falls to keep it tied up. Then we get some outside brawling and weapon shots that lead to Mundo scoring 3 falls in succession after a Crowbar shot, Moonlight Drive and Fin del Mundo. Johnny's heel tactics and evasion is super fun, between the parkour jumps and his mid match promo getting the band to play a song. Puma gets back into the action with a guitar shot and a table spot from the rafters. He gets a few falls, before Johnny continues running away as a super cocky heel. Alberto el Patron makes a run in as revenge for johnny costing him the contendership match against Hernandez. Great moment allowing Puma to even the score and getting us to the frantic final minutes with a bunch of nearfalls. Puma hits the 630 to win with only seconds left and the crowd cheering. Love it |

It was basic wrestling, the heel beats the babyface drawing heat and building to a great comeback, so the babyface gets a underdog win. Basic, but perfectly done. Puma and Mundo were great here. There are some echoes of their rivalry early on the season, which make the match better, as there were some cool counters and moves. It started slowly, with grappling and mat wrestling, with each taking a quick victory with a roll-up. Then they got out of the ring and Johnny Mundo destroyed Puma with a crowbar shot, that made him get the upperhand on the match 4-1. Mundo as a heel is amazing, I love his new character. Puma is a great underdog. From that point, Puma slowly recovered, after a great spot with the tables, the balcony and even a performance by the band, Puma got two more pins, so they were 4-3. At that point Johnny begin to run away from Puma, which led to a great interference by Alberto El Patron, destroying Mundo and getting him back to the ring so Puma could tie the match. The last minutes of the match were extremely high paced and Puma took the victory after a hard fought match. As I've said, it was basic wrestling storytelling, but it wasn perfect. Two great performers with insane talent that told a great story here, with some great spots, counters and moves. An instant classic of Lucha Underground. |

While they do have the advantage of only needing to fill around 40 minutes instead of 60, Mundo and Puma do such an excellent job of keeping this match consistently entertaining despite the challenging run time. There are so many twists and turns as the story constantly evolves throughout the match, and so much variety in the action itself. Whether it is mat wrestling, high flying, hardcore, or even a brief interlude for a promo and some music, there is always something new and different taking place. The pacing is excellent, and the story is simple easy to follow whole also being interesting and well executed. There is a very clear line between babyface and heel in this match, and they do very well establishing Puma as the underdog after Mundo has to resort to dirty tactics when Puma outwrestles him early. This is an excellent match, and definitely one of the best in the history of Lucha Underground. |

Was sind die besonderen Qualitäten dieses Wrestlingmatch gewesen? Storytelling? Welche Geschichte wurde hier denn hier (nachvollziebar) erzählt? Ich bin Wrestlingfan, kein Insider, kein Experte oder dergleichen aber dieser Kampf hat mich schlichtweg nicht begeistert oder gar richtig überzeugt. Die letzten Minuten waren richtig klasse, das ganze Match hatte aber bei weitem nicht die Klasse, die es "unter optimalen Bedingungen" gehabt hätte. |
