[4.0] "It was okay considering how old everyone was in the match, the in-ring was nothing too special and that ending was absolutely horrendous. Overall wasn't the best match, but I get why it's there, to honor the legacy of the great Antonio Inoki."
[4.0] "The Antonio Inoki memorial match wasn't horrible, but it was ruined because of Tiger Mask and Togi Makabe disasterclass at the ending, awful display and botched moves all the way. I'm giving a generous rating because it was nostalgic at some parts and great to see the old schoolers pay tribute to Inoki - {**}"
[4.0] "Pretty decent match considering the age of the talent involved. The match did fell apart right at the end as was miscommunication between Tiger Mask and Togi Makabe, but the match itself was harmless, and everyone kept it simple. **"
[3.0] "Inoffensive due to its role as a tribute match, but the action in-ring action was entirely unremarkable. Understandable given some of the names involved, but I was hoping for something more from Kojima and Suzuki."
[5.0] "The purpose was beautiful where six of the absolute best from the past joined here to pay homage to one of the all-time greats in Antonio Inoki. Now as I said, the legends united here for a match. So, the work rate has to be on the low tier of expectations, but it went even low with an awry closing exchange from Tiger & Makabe. Their inconsistence led to a bad ending to a tributary showing. 2.25 out of 5 stars!"
[6.0] "The workrate is embarrassing, in some parts the selling is almost non-existent, there are very evident botches, the ending is confused and badly done....but it entertained me. I know the intentions of the match weren't make the fans laugh, but I laughed from the beginning to the end. The intensity of these six while fighting at their ages is impressive, and the match unexpectedly entertained me, despite all its evident flaws"
[5.0] "The dads did a pretty good job. Nothing particularly memorable but everyone looked like they enjoyed themselves and after that awful rambo this was even more enjoyable. Shame about the messy finish. **1/2"
[5.0] "Outside Tiger Mask the men here wrestled hard and looked good for their age. This was a fine enough pre show six man tag showcasing the legends."
[4.0] "Tiger Mask and Makabes miscommunications led to this match falling apart. There were some botched moves and then a sudden finish. At least they were older wrestlers making these mistakes and not younger main event talent. Not a complete let down but skippable I guess."
[4.0] "It seems harsh to give this a low rating, as it was just a showcase for several mostly older wrestlers, but as it match it wasn't much good. The crowd seemed uninterested, but maybe any reaction was just swallowed up in the huge arena."
[4.0] "It was good to see Kojima, Nagata, and my personal favorite, Fujinami. This outing was exactly what it should have been and what we all anticipated"
[3.0] "There was nothing to this match. Nobody stood out and poor old Fujinami got very little crowd reaction. The wrestlers really showed their age and it dragged at times. The finish was botched and everyone on commentary buried Tiger Mask."
[5.0] "The finish was bad, but the rest was decent, albeit slow (which is fair considering their ages). Suzuki was by far the highlight of this match and I hope he gets that world title."
[3.0] "I know that this match is for Inoki but seriously the end shows that the older wrestlers are finished. Tiger Mask litteraly lost his brain when he tried his move like "Wait, what can I do now ? ""
[4.0] "A fight that maybe by name will catch your attention, but it is not at all entertaining and let's say it is quite slow for what we expected. Although it's obviously a Pre-Show fight, the good stuff was yet to come."
[3.0] "NJPW needs to get over their obsession with the older guys in the lower card. It was cute when they had guys in their early 30s killing it in the main matches but now it just looks like a geriatric ward."
[6.0] "Very silly, opening tag match with legends having a fun time to make the crowd happy. The final spot is a terrible botch but comes across as amusing and wholesome in the match's low stakes context. Had a lovely time."
[4.0] "A simple legends match with fun sequences between Suzuki/Nagata, Fujinama/Nagata, Suzuki/Kojima, and a very clean trademark Tiger Driver to Kojima. Unfortunately, the match ended on a sour note on a mistiming or perhaps loss of balance on the part of Makabe and Tiger Mask."
