[7.0] "These two had great chemistry together. They put together a lot of good spots and built tension as the match went on. The flying knee by Rollins looked nasty and felt special as he rarely did it. Finish designed to continue the feud but lacks logic, why would a ref DQ Rollins after he had lost by pinfall while he was out, you are rewarding the behavior that puts the ref in jeopardy."

I remember when this happened (as ambrose is my favorite wrestler has been since 2013) i thought this was incredible the finish was good but i kinda woulda rathered roman come out and help bc he couldnt stand to see his friend go threw what he was out in the ring ambrose wins but doesnt get the title because roman came out and helped when he was told not to. Obviously they have tremendous chemistry and i dont think theyve ever had a bad match. Love this match so much 4.25 stars"

The crowd was already dead because of the botches in the previous match and, well, this didn't do anything to turn the ship around. At this point Dean is truly the red-headed stepchild of the Shield and it fucking shows."

[6.0] "Suitable main event between Rollins and Ambrose here even if I'm usually much more excited about the matches these two have together every time, because I feel they have an excellent chemistry and deliver some very solid matches but that was not really the case for this one. I'd rather be clear and say right away that there was nothing bad or something like that in this match as the content was convincing, the work of both was clean and there were obviously some cool elements, but as a whole I didn't see anything innovative compared to their previous encounters and I found it way too long for what it was. Over twenty minutes wasn't the best format for them as I felt they were uninspired at times and that the crowd was not always in it, although I will say again the action itself was fun. The biggest problem with this match though is obviously the ending which is everything that's frustrating about this company at times, they love making everything difficult when sometimes they could just book things properly and this finish is a perfect example of that."

Ambrose and Rollins, knowing each other so well, were able to pull off a majestic performance, with lots of very interesting counters. The ending is open to criticism, but still manages to make the crowd satisfied and keep Rollins the belt. Nice job."

Dean was pretty good here but crowd was total shit which never made the match good. The ending was dogshit, too which summed up a not so good ppv. Overall just okay main event no more thanks to the boring first half."

[9.0] "I really don't understand why people are rating this so low. I liked when it first happened but after a rewatch I love it. This match was awesome! Sure the ending isn't happy but it was the RIGHT ending in order to progress this rivalry to its next chapter. People have to think in the long run. Both guys brought out some unique moves and unique transitions. The only negative was the weak crowd, had they been hotter this would've been better. I recommend rewatching in hindsight bc this match is really good ****1/4"

Fans were clearly ready for an Ambrose win but WWE's not much into taking chances anymore. Oh well, still had good parts but nothing I would want to rewatch anytime soon."

[9.0] "Few pairings in WWE today have the chemistry that Rollins and Ambrose do. They make it look so easy that, if you give them 20-minutes, it seems almost impossible for them not to deliver a 4-star effort. Their title match was my favorite of their series dating back to last year, even eclipsing Hell in a Cell simply because it was less about creating a moment within the confines of a gimmick and more about telling a story while exhibiting their considerable arsenals. I enjoy seeing them mix it up in a standard format like I have many of the great rivalries of the past. What a great match!"

The crowd seemed kinda bored after that Elimination Chamber match for the Intercontinental Championship. The ending was fun, but nothing new. Above all, this is not the best match these two guys could wrestle, but it's not bad at all."

[7.0] "Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins at Elimination Chamber obviously wasn't the best match they've had cause we definitely have seen better matches with these 2 great performers against each other. It's also kind of hard to have a better match than what we got at Elimination Chamber when you consider the fact that they performed in front of a crappy crowd like Corpus Christi, Texas. That being said, I'm not knocking this bout too much though cause it was still pretty good and these guys always have great chemistry with each other regardless. I could've done without the DQ finish a bit, but I did kind of like the aftermath of the match. The announcement of Rollins retaining the WWE title because of the DQ finish of course got him more heat from the crowd, then Roman Reigns comes out and helps his buddy Dean Ambrose out with fighting off the Authority and despite the DQ finish, Ambrose steals the championship from Rollins' grasp anyway. As long as that DQ finish and aftermath sets up another match between Ambrose and Rollins where they tear the house down at Money In The Bank, I'm cool with that finish."

[5.0] "The action was OK but felt long for the sake of going long. The "finish" didn't really feel climactic at all and because of that, set it up for what would end up being the actual finish. Nothing particularly good, better off watching their FCW stuff if you want real matches between these two."

[8.0] "Great Match. These guys had great chemistry and though I believe it was nearly as good if not as good as their falls count anywhere on raw a while back as it was still great contest and fun to watch. Each played their roles perfectly and Ambrose did an amazing job and the crowd were well on his side. I'm happy with the ending as though I'd love for a Amborse WWE title reign I do want Seths run to be a bit longer. I think it was booked perfectly to get both guys over with the dusty dq finish and overall a great main event. ****1/4"

Mattrago98 wrote on 01.06.2015:
"It was okay, but they could have done better. Rollins moveset has been watered down and Ambrose's is limited right now, unfortunately. Lack of false finishes and/or drama bogged it down a bit. The anticipation of interference kind of sucked, as well, but that's more my fault as a viewer."
