[4.0] "It would have been more important for this show to cut some of the entrances of ther wrestlers, the brays and Gunthes segments, to at least give this match 5 or 10 more minutes. They just did a good overall match with less than seven minutes behind. It could have been much better"
[6.0] "This was a decent match but should have been given a little more time for such a big time match. Most of the match was Kevin and Sami, then Sami tagged Roman in and he worked with Owens for a little. Owens and Roman then got their respective hot tags, Cena hit his moves of doom, tagged Kevin in and it was a stunner to Sami for the faces to win."
[7.0] "This was pretty good for the time it was given. It was mostly Kevin and Sami going at it with Roman coming in at a few points, then Cena literally comes in at the last minute of the match and hits his five moves of doom on Sami to win."
[4.0] "One of the biggest disappointments I've ever had watching Wrestling. How can you have Roman wrestling on TV for the first time since april or may, John Cena for the first time since 2021, Sami Zayn who is red hot with the crowd, and Kevin Owens who is a hell of a wrestler and performer and give them one of the, if not the laziest match of all time? The first minutes were so good from the storytelling standpoint, and after the commercial break it all looked like they have been fighting for 20 minutes already. How lazy and complacient WWE can be when they know only the presence of their biggest stars is enough for people to care. (**)"
[2.0] "This was a waste of a big match and a hot crowd. Sami and KO doing their thing was the only good thing about this. Roman did basically nothing. Cena took one boot to the face and sold the entire match on the floor before hitting 3 moves for the finish and you still heard a spot call. *1/2"
[2.0] "This was bad, incredibly bad booking, bad and incoherent idea to show Sami that weak, bad and incoherent idea to make Roman that weak as well. The excection was just ok but far from what Roman, Sami, Cena and even Owens are able to do."
[7.0] "This was a fantastic experience for the live fans to see Cena be a part of a match in 2022. He maintained the streak successfully, but the way he traveled in order to do so was underwhelming. The action was mostly carried by Owens & Zayn where the better story lies within leaving Cena & Reigns out of the equation. Both were protected as if they're not partnered with them especially Cena. The timeframe allotted for both mega draws was criminally short which easily displeased the fans. The interaction from Reigns was at least decently shaped up, but Cena came in, did his signature for a few minutes and left victorious? ! Had they got more time in the ring as well as a proper stand-off, this match could've been more memorable. In addition, Cena's OG technique of calling out spots loudly was exposed here. It doesn't suit the current era, but it is what it is. 3.5 out of 5 stars for the major work by Owens/Zayn & the overall star power!"
[6.0] "Kinda underwhelming. Cena took no bumps, Roman barely got involved. Sami and Kevin didn't wrestle each other like they have a 20 year history, decent house show match"
[8.0] "This match with 2-3 more minutes to milk the hot tag for Cena would've been perfect but I'm fine with what we got. The atmosphere as expected was electric, and the roof came off the place when Cena finally made his hot tag, this also advances the story with Sami in the bloodline. ***3/4"
[2.0] "Sami and Kevin's match. Just an uninteresting match, there's not much to say about it. Roman is slow as always, taking everything slow. Cena's return itself was for what? For nothing. Big disappointment."
[7.0] "I'm just thankful that Kevin Owens and John Cena won here. Now can we PLEASE end this Bloodline storyline soon, and begin to have different champions reigning supreme instead of the same boring group for 2+ years?"
[6.0] "I can't hate on Cena too much for only coming in for 2 minutes and playing the hits, I can however hate on Roman for how slow he wrestles and he was annoying here. Still an alright match. ***"
[4.0] "Weeks of teasing for that ? Really ? A 10min match with a commercial break in the middle ? Cena did 3 moves and the match was over, this was one of the most lazy match I ever saw, this was a house show match --------- And btw this is supposed to be the biggest wrestling company in the world but even on the worst indy shows you never hear someone call spots like that, wtf was that ? I know wrestling is fake but you don't have to scream it to my face"
[7.0] "love seeing Cena back but man was this disappointing. this match didn't add up to the hype. it felt like just another tag match. Cena was in the ring for like less than a minute. his return was a success in selling tickets but he added nothing special to the match. Cena & KO won with Sami eating the pin so we'll see how that progresses."
[5.0] "Look, Cena of all people should get a lifetime pass to phone it in whenever he feels like it (even without the Hollywood excuse), but damn what a waste of a molten hot crowd. And it's not like the rest of the match was particularly special either. A fun moment but if you missed it, there's no need to check it out."
[6.0] "Kinda exactly what i expected from Cena, little work but alwaya great to see him. Owens and Sami did the heavy lifting as to be expected. My only gripe was Cena AND the referee screaming spots at the top of their lungs, i have never heard spots called so loudly in 22 years of watching wwe. My god."
[6.0] "Cena and the Ref shouting during the match : Don't move! Slow! Tag now! 1:20! One minute left! I've never heard so many spots in a match so clearly Must've been LOUD in the arena, and mics must've been way too close, way too cranked up"
[8.0] "The fans were on fire, so it was a beautiful atmosphere. We didn't have phenomenal spots or a fast pace, but the star power of these four men, their character work, and the crowd made this match great. Unfortunately, the match lasted barely 11 minutes. John Cena didn't get too involved, but when he did, he was crucial. In the end, Cena and Kevin Owens took the win."
[7.0] "A good fight that although it has been short has been quite fun, but well, it should have lasted longer but for what is in itself the fight I give this rating."
[5.0] "I was hyped and I was dissapointed. Where is the epic? ! Cena executed like 2 or 3 moves. Roman looked like goof and not like mighty tribal chief."
[5.0] "All the hype for nothing. I'm pretty sure that the "biggest match of 2022" should be longer than 10 minutes and have a little big match feel (we for sure didn't witness big match John in this one)."
[8.0] "I have a few issues with this match. My number one issue being I wish John Cena could've been in the match more. He's in the match for what, like a minute? And he only does the "Five Moves of Doom." He is way more capable of showing that he is more than those five moves, but I understand because it has been a very long time since he's been in the ring. Another issue I have is that this is a pretty basic and standard tv WWE match. However, I cannot give this less than an 8 rating because I absolutely adore John Cena and loved seeing him the ring again, and also because the atmosphere was electric and the crowd was amazing."
[7.0] "The return of John Cena was a success purely for the amount of tickets he sold for this show, and his match here was very good, but there were production issues, notably the ref being heard telling when to go home, plus an eye injury to Kevin Owens. Great atmosphere though, and this could eventually play into Roman Reigns turning on Sami Zayn as he fears the fans appreciating Zayn more than him."
[10.0] "I was always going to be giving this match a 10 because I knew the atmosphere and larger than life personalities would make it feel special. The crowd was electric, the work was basic but effective, especially with Kevin and Sami's exchanges. Cena got a well-built hot tag, and the finish sent the crowd home happy. Not much else to complain about. This will get a bad rep for being basic, but you'd have to be one cynical son of a bitch to not have at least enjoyed this in some way. [****3/4]"
[5.0] "It was okay. The atmosphere was what made it somewhat enjoyable for the most part. But the wrestling was just there. Not sure if Cena is washed or if they're saving him for something bigger, but this was the type of stuff that made people hate him for so many years."
[10.0] "Maybe I'm a little biased when writing this, but I loved this match. Matches like this one are why I love professional wrestling, all the characters, the colors, the crowd, the energy, and all that. Goosebumps."
