[8.0] "This was one of those small-room matches that (hopefully) teaches how much difference a tiny crowd that's willing to be loud and react can make - everything about it from a different time-and-place because it actually was, late 00s-early 10s Puro was pretty fascinating and kinda unique in that regard. Re-watching it without a sound certainly wasn't the same, intensity just wasn't on that level even between Yumeji and Sawa who were the biggest standouts. Pro-wrestling can be a lot of things, and there's charm and appeal in this style too, I just think there are better matches with same ingredients from that time period."

I really love Munenori Sawa and his penchant of wrestling in the dingiest locations and seeing him go toe to toe with Fugo Fugo Yumeji was one of the damnedest things I've ever seen. Also pretty cool to see a relatively young Keita Yano try to keep up with these shootstyle veterans. Awesome stuff."

Everyone hits hard, everyone grapples like their trying to break each others bones, and nobody can out headbutt Fugo Fugo. Five Stars out of Five."

They are just in full murder death kill mode from the very off. Fugo and Sawa in particular are just off the scale with the intensity while Yano brings something completely different to the table in trying to take his opponents down to grapple. Fugo taps out Yano despite being repeatedly kicked in the head as he has the submission in."

[10.0] "Pretty mindblowing match. I don't feel that it's particularly hyperbolic to say this is one of the greatest tag matches ever. Everyone involved is in kill mode from bell to bell, and seeing how each man goes about trying to maim their opponents is incredibly compelling. Pretty much everyone else has pointed out Fugo and Sawa's work here, so I won't dwell on them too much. All I'll say is that Fugo and Sawa fight with a level of intensity that very few have been able to match in the 21st century. Sanshu delivers the goods as well with lots of wild and reckless kicks that tend to put him into a bad spot when missed, but completely shift the tide in his favor when they connect. Keita's the real hidden gem of this match though, at least in my opinion. He completely abandons any of the frilly esoteric spots or the tribute acts and entirely focuses on being a monster grappler, pulling off incredible takedown and holds while fending off Fugo at his most vicious on the mat. There's a particular leg trip he hits on Fugo near the middle of the match that looks like it could've knocked Fugo out from the impact alone. Still, Fugo and Sawa are the main stars, and the finish of Fugo eating numerous full force head kicks while trying to rip Keita's arm out from the socket is legitimately one of the best finishes ever. One of the most brutal wars in professional wrestling history."

Sawa straight up chokes Fugo and they get into a slugfest. Sanshu gets tagged in and lays in some strikes on Sawa but Sawa eventually kicks the fuck out of him in return. Keita gets tagged in and things slow down for a bit. Shit hits the fan again when Sawa and Fugo are in there. Headbutts are introduced here by Sawa but everyone knows you shouldn't get into that with Fugo. They try to kill each other for about a good 3 minutes until Keita gets tagged in. This ends with Fugo putting Keita in a double wristlock while Sawa tries to break up the hold by trying to kick Fugo's head in but he doesn't budge and Keita eventually taps out. Beautiful finish I'll have to say."

[9.0] "This match is if every pre-conceived notion of what wrestling is and why wrestlers do the things they do and threw it out the window. No one sits in a hold without trying to find an escape, no one refrains from throwing a strike whenever they can and it's all filled with intensity and fantastic selling. Every shot that looks like it should hurt is treated as such, Sawa and Fugo are the most notable parts of this with their crazy interactions but Keita and Sanshu are wonderful too, especially their early mat stuff. Feels like a street fight between professionals. Absolutely love the finish, Fugo keeps Keita in the double wristlock while Sawa boots him in the head over and over but none of them can force the break and Yano taps."
