[6.0] "The first half was typical battle royal stuff where nothing highly notable happened. However, as the numbers dwindled down, things got more interesting. The highlight of the match was the final sequence between Castagnoli and Top Flight, which was pretty entertaining."
[7.0] "Good boud fitted for myself putting my ratings on this website. On a more serious note, that was a fun and really interesting battle royal. A bit chaotic, yeah, but that turned to be a good showing for everybody involved. That was a good occasion to let some storylines have their inner story. The last minutes were pretty good, the Double C and Top Flight shit was really enjoying and a good showcase for The Martins."
[6.0] "They gave this battle royal an absolutely ridiculous name seemingly as some sort of rib. This was just your average shitty battle royal for the first half with teams of jobbers coming out to little fanfare. Then in the second half, it started to heat up. It came down to Top Flight and the BCC, Hangman ran in to brawl with Moxley which led to his elimination. Claudio and Top Flight had an excellent final stretch which largely made up for the lacklustre match."
[3.0] "Pretty bad and sloggishly worked with little creativity put into it. Hangman's interference felt very forced and a booking crutch more than anything. Claudio vs Top Flight try to save this by having a good ending but dynamics were also strange with the underdogs being 2v1. It almost works because Claudio is a beast but in the end this still felt like a waste of time and mostly bad."
[6.0] "AEW always dedicates such battles to the development of confrontations, here Adam Page prevented Mox from winning, and it's strange why he did it, he never seemed to behave so meanly before, he could have left after the match. Here Kip Sabian again interfered with Cassidy in every possible way and the Dark Order took revenge on Preston Vance for his behavior. And there wasn't much wrestling in all of this and there wasn't much to remember. Only the final confrontation between Claudio and Top Flight turned out to be really fun. As a result, the result is interesting, but the overall impression of the match is normal, without much praise."
[9.0] "Despite an admittedly slow start clearing out a lot of riff raff, I feel like I have to hugely recommend the back half of this match. Especially once it got down the final six or so, this match was straight fire. Rush and Claudio killed it and made me desperately want to see them square off one on one, and the Moxley/Page fight was well done without Page getting in the way of his Dark Order friends. The entire Claudio/Top Flight sequence was magical, really top tier. Sadly nobody can get near the trios titles right now, so the cash prize was a nice old school touch."
[6.0] "I swear the name of this match was a rib on Jim Ross. A lot of guys got on TV just before Christmas, and it came down to the Blackpool Combat Club against AR Fox and Top Flight, which set up Hangman Page to assist in Jon Moxley's elimination, leaving Claudio Castagnoli easy pickings for the Martin Brothers. Battle Royals are what they are, and a Trios one was extra complicated."
