[6.0] "Too much choreographed comedy to really knock my socks off. Both teams show that they can actually do better at one point or another, when it's not about the crowd party but a serious match performance. All in all, that may be okay, but it's definitely not above average."
[9.0] "Both a fantastic a insanely fun tag match with a brilliant Eddie Guerrero tribute. New Day winning the NXT Tag Team Titles would go nowhere after this but it was a nice moment that they've won all tag team gold in the company."
[8.0] "The perfect example of a match where two teams with a very good in-ring and slightly crazy gimmicks can make a very good comedy match. It's really successful and it makes us smile, there were some excellent moments. (4*)"
[9.0] "I was expecting a good match, maybe even a great match, I wasn't expecting to be laughing out loud (during that Eddie Guerrero's tribute spot) during that match. Great job from both team and a very enjoyable moment. 9/10."
[8.0] "New Day wurde hier WWE Tag Team Triple Crown Champions. In der Geschichte der WWE gibt es inzwischen drei Tag Teams denen das gelang The Revial, The Street Profits und The New Day. Darum wieder was für die Geschichte (***1/2)."
[9.0] "Highly entertaining title match with top-notch character from all four guys and perhaps the greatest Eddie Guerrero tribute spot in wrestling history."
[8.0] "I'm not a fan of New Day and I don't want reign Pretty Deadly to end so quickly, but I never thought that these bands would have such an exciting dynamic. Under such conditions, I'm not even bvl upset because of the result. ****."
[7.0] "Favorite moment in the match when the fighters exchanged distracting referee trick with a championship belt and fake lying on the mats. It was really funny and unusual, a really talented maneuver that shows that the experience of a New Day allows them to remember the times when they also broke the rules, but they also prove that they are still in the top of the best in the ring. A good match with bright sequences, team chemistry and excellent teamwork. It is clear that everyone here loves their business and everyone has studied this business in length and breadth. Nice and festive!"
[8.0] "I'm not sure with the peers who didn't get the comical elements this match had. New Day are experts in that territory and Pretty Deadly are underrated artists of the field. Once they tested their characters at the start, the wrestling aspect kicked in by Woods & Prince which elevated the bout to a serious track. The action was really cool where both teams are synergetic emitting awesome display of competitive mannerisms & fighting. The "lie, cheat & steal" spot was done really well even though it was ridiculous because of the better presentation by them. The laughter just intensified there as the "twerk-off" b/w Kofi & Wilson gave a nice gag as well. At the end, New Day won to an astonished moment which increased the surrealness of their presence. They stand little to no chance at the main roster at the moment, so heading here for a detour sounds great and this is the big start of it. Pretty Deadly shouldn't be ashamed of their performance as they could become viler and possibly recapture the throne. 4 out of 5 stars!"
[7.0] "Das war ein starkes Match, das das unterschiedliche Standing beider Teams sehr gut berücksichtigt hat. Gutes Wrestling, sehr unterhaltsam, das war echt sehr gut. 7/10 Brote"
[7.0] "Very good tag team title match that had some noticeably bad moments. Sorry, but the twerking and the Eddie Guerrero belt spots were bad. There's nothing wrong with comedy in wrestling, but bad comedy has no place anywhere. I can't complain about the rest of the match itself, which had a brisk pace and great action, these are two of the best teams in the business and they showed why. The New Day surprisingly got the win here, as they had an out with Pretty Deadly cheating to win by hitting a belt shot. Pretty Deadly could have really used the win here to elevate them, the New Day already have a billion tag team championships and they don't need one in NXT. 7.5/10"
[6.0] "Pretty by the numbers tag team match. It was given the time to be something good but it didn't happen. I expected more from these two. Pretty Deadly worked on Kofi for most of the match. There was an incredibly dumb spot of them having a twerk off in the middle of the ring, and a weird homage to Eddie Guerrero that didn't quite work, but they played off it nicely with using the other belt. I was surprised to see New Day win too."
[6.0] "Generic WWE house style tag match, complete with all of the silliness that entails (the four way Eddie Guerrero tribute spot), that had this WWE crowd going bonkers. Crowd pleasing match with a crowd pleasing finish. It was fine."
[6.0] "Good little tag match. Both teams were pretty entertaining early on with all their cheeky poses and generally charismatic character work, though they definitely reached overkill obnoxious territory after a while (that goofy 'twerk battle' segment was complete trash, and the 4-way 'Eddie belt' spot was pretty stupid, too). All their in-ring interactions themselves were quite smooth and energetic. Pretty Deadly had some intelligent heel tactics and nifty tag spots to gain control, and their egotistical character work helped put them over as detestable heels while still having good enough in-ring skills to make the respectable overall workers. Woods was quite energetic in his eventual hot tag, leading to both teams getting some nice tag spots and sequences as the paced continuously picked up. New Day winning was odd considering they're so over in the main roster, but I guess they'd have looked worse losing minor-league titles than winning them. ***1/4"
[9.0] "I didn't even think this match would be half as good, this is my first time seeing Pretty Deadly in action and I'm so impressed. Get these guys on the main roster NOW. They managed to look just as good as Kofi and Xavier here, the Eddie Guerrero spot where everyone fell down and sold getting hit with the belt was fantastic. Both teams had creative offense that looked great, the pacing was also good as it felt really intense during the second half. In most matches I'd say twerking in the middle of the bout is dumb, but if you're going to have anyone do it, these guys are the ones, lol. The crowd was just on FIRE, they elevated this beyond anything I'd expect here. *4.5*"
[9.0] "This was a really good tag match and was surprising because their was a twerk off in the match but this match was great and it was really funny I love the spot of all men handing each other the title to try to win and they are all are on the mat this was a great match and it was amazing to see the new day win again. ****1/2"
[8.0] "I just want to start this off by saying Booker T commentary of just hating on the New Day all match long was hilarious, his reaction to them running was great as well. The character work/action in this from both teams were really good, that Eddie Guerrero spot in this was just downright hilarious. Kofi letting Xaiver get the pinfall victory at the end was sweet.****"
[8.0] "A good tag match with a red hot crowd, and some unique spots. I really loved the Eddie Guerrero tribute spot, with everyone tossing the belt and pretending they were hit with it, only for the ref to get pissed off at everyone. Some great tag team moves and sequences, and the right team definitely won with how great the crowd celebration was. I recommend this match, good stuff."
[9.0] "In my completely biased opinion Pretty Deadly are the best thing in WWE at the moment, so I can't fully support the result - and more seriously I'm not sure having so many main roster wrestlers in the title picture is good for NXT. Apart from that, this was a great match, with Pretty Deadly fully matching the New Day. Maybe they'll move to the main roster soon, they are certainly talented enough for it. The teams worked well together with both using comedy and highly skilled wrestling."
[8.0] "A very good tag team match. New Day showed their serious side at parts and had some grrat action but we also had a very funny 4 way eddie guerrero belt spot and also had a twerk off. The result surprised me. Very excited to see where this goes."
[8.0] "A very entertaining and fun fight for New Day to be crowned as the new NXT Tag Team Champions. I really didn't see this one coming, I thought they would lose in some cheating way but they won."
[4.0] "Decent match but that quadruple eddie guerrero belt spot was horrid. not only was it muffed but it was just plain dumb. the fact he even picked it up after dropping it made no sense."
[9.0] "One of the most fun matches of the year. Glad New Day won since I'd like to see these two teams really have a long program together. There's a lot they could do with them and if this is just the start it could be great."
[9.0] "Very, very fun match. I know The New Day's antics aren't everyone's cup of tea but it's damn near impossible to deny their great ring work. Both teams showed excellent chemistry and there were some great spots in this match. The Eddie Guerrero tribute spot made me laugh my ass off. Fits their gimmicks perfectly. The finish was a bit surprising but New Day as tag champs can elevate the division, even if their run is brief. Great match with a great pace where the silly antics didn't take away from the work in the ring. [****1/4]"
[8.0] "Sad to see how Pretty Deadly were fed to New Day, but this match was an accurate definition of sports entertainment, with also good moves and well choreographed performance."
[9.0] "Can't do bad with both Pretty Deadly and the New Day in the ring. Match was great. The finish was unexpected but it opens some interesting possibilities for the tag division of the show, so I see it with good eyes. New Day always delivers, and if it wasn't said before, then Pretty Deadly are awesome."
[7.0] "Fun match! The crowd made this the biggest match possible and both teams are great, so no surprise there. No idea what a New Day does or if it helps NXT, but I guess I would have to wait and see."
[9.0] "This was maybe the best match in Pretty Deadly's carrear (those matches with Mustache Mountain were great too), it was so much fun, we had a twerk-off and a quadruple Eddie spot, this was so much fun"
[8.0] "Quite honestly one of the most fun team matches I've seen in a long time, I don't mean in terms of action (although it was also super good from that point of view as expected) but really fun, I had fun during this match and enjoyed every second of it. It was also very well paced and the crowd investment was just fantastic, seeing the gimmicks of both teams it could only match anyway so I'm not surprised at all, a real pleasure to see Kingston & Woods doing a Ziggler on us by having a little title run in NXT, it'll help the new talents and they'll shine too. The Eddie Guerrero tribute spot had me dying laughing and the result screaming with joy, damn good."
