Martin Kirby is pretty underrated to me he does the small things well and rn at this point will isn't to great but still very athletic but he hasn't gotten his mind for what a in ring match should be just yet. It's their standard good match, though they don't seem to employ nearly as much story into it as they do with their other matches. That's not to say that there's no semblance of continuity, especially near the end, with little tidbits like Ospreay and Kirby going to the top rope again, but in a role reversal of their second match, Ospreay's able to get an advantage this time. Other than that, it's mostly just their standard crisp technical wrestling, incorporating a bit more of a lucha libre style in than usual. As I said, a perfectly solid match, but a step-down compared to their previous works, as well as the one I have the least to say about. ***1/4 |

Liked seeing Ospreay working the submissions and technical wrestling more than his high flying as it makes sense it a tournament setting. Last few minutes allowed them to hit all of their big moves.
