[9.0] "Absolutely incredible match that shows how good Seth Rollins is. Both Lashley and Theory looked GREAT in here. It's the triple threat type that I'll always love. The finish was super creative and shocking. My favorite match of the night."
[8.0] "That stomp was insane. The way we got here, we all don't agree with but I don't think there was any doubts whether this match will hit or not. Seth is just great. Bobby was utilised in this match well as a threat. And Austin snuck a win and stole the title, giving shock value to what was a good match to begin with."
[8.0] "That was a great clash of styles with pretty smart wrestling and structure as well. Theory had his ass whooped, but he's the one who exited the arena with the title. He let himself wracked in order to let Rollins and Lashley getting tired, and found openings thanks to their exhaustion. The veterans weren't fools, but Theory's attacks were effective nevertheless. The sequences between Rollins and Lashley were pretty cool. Power against versatility, of course that was cool. Theory took nasty bumps just for the love of the game, moreover. That was certainly a well-booked 3-Way showcasing each lad's best game. The finish was really smart, I liked it a lot."
[8.0] "Excellent triple threat. Non stop and all of them had their way to shine. Seth's Stomp was a great idea, just like the double Hurt Lock and the ending was soooo smart. Austin's victory was satisfactory, the right choice to end a classic."
[10.0] "A really fantastic triple threat between all three men with fantastic in ring action and psychology between them all, everyone gave really amazing performances here, especially Rollins who got massive support from the crowd which made him turn babyface over time during his short stay in the WWE U.S. Title picture."
[8.0] "man oh man this has not been even 2 full years yet and this is night and day position wise for austin theory. He legitimately seems like a future aspect of the show going forward. Now hes apart of a boring ass tag team and for many has go away heat. This is an extremely underrated match that needs to get more attentions because it is phenomenal. The whole match slaps but especially the last 4-5 minutes of this match is so damn good and smooth. The phoenix splash off the rope that misses was great and then into that great splash to break up the pin was great. The stomp while using theory for momentum was great. The beginning of the dual hurt lock was weird as hell but once they got it locked in correct it looked pretty damn nice. The finish was great the brain buster combination with the spear from lashley. This is GREAT. Still shocked rollins dropped the belt after only a month ish with the u.s. title. 4.25 stars"
[8.0] "****1/4 MOTN: Kinda redemmed the weird Theory cash-in business that happened and made me think he was a superstar in my eyes. This is when he started growing out the beard and getting on the SAUCE. Anyway the action was fantastic and the finish was great."
[9.0] "Honestly one the most underrated matches of 2023 probably theory's best main roster match aswell and probably one of bobby lashleys best aswelll"
[7.0] "A great match with a lot of ideas. The finish is well found and managed to shock the crowd who were hot for Rollins. I had a good time out front. (3*3/4)"
[6.0] "It was pretty good, especially the second part of the match where they really picked up speed. Some nice spots without making it look like a cooperation and the finish was cleverly done too. Not the best thing but it was fun for what it was without insulting anybody's intelligence."
[8.0] "(****1/4) Incredible triple threat, far exceeded my expectations. Some very clever spots involving all 3 men, constant action throughout, a surprise winner, and character developments. Very nice stuff."
[8.0] "Even though Theory's US title reign has been horrendously boring, at least the match he won the title in was pretty good. The first half of the match is kind of forgettable, but the match does eventually find its groove and for the final 7 minutes it becomes a very fun 3 way. There are some great multi man spots, like a double Hurt Lock by Lashley, and a beautiful curb stomp by Seth which he delivers on Lashley by jumping off of Theory. I also really enjoyed the finish of this match, where Theory just wins by sheer luck after falling on top of Seth after being hit with a spear by Lashley. Very good match overall. ****"
[6.0] "This was a good Triple Threat with some cool three-man spots to capitalize on the stipulation, but by no means this was a great match. It didn't had the big fight feel and no one, except for Rollins, could do something to improve that. But the thing that bothers me the most is the amount of times all three men looked stupid in the match: Lashley was about to lose the same way he did in Crown Jewel. Theory, despite his "character change" still an arrogant idiot who misses on good chances and the only way he could win was by pure luck, and Rollins, when he had Lashley on that great looking Curb Stomp, he goes to pin him instead of taking Theory out first, then Lashley Spears Rollins and goes to take a breath instead of pinning him, allowing Theory to win. Fail after fail after fail after fail. (*** 1/4)"
[5.0] "Similar to Styles/Balor earlier in the night this was a match that happened. There were generic multi-man spots and brawling early on that were entirely forgettable. Rollins gave another underwhelming performance on offense. Theory was the most interesting worker here with good athleticism and he brought the most energy. Lashley is a wrestler who I never go out of my way to watch. He's jacked but his offense is never intense or stiff. The finishing stretch was pretty fun with Theory and Rollins having some back and forth. **1/2"
[8.0] "A fantastic Triple Threat. Both WarGames Matches on this show were great as well, but, as far as pure wrestling goes, these three men had the best match of the night. All three had multiple opportunities to showcase their abilities and look like stars. I wasn't expecting the Theory victory, but it's something I welcome as a big fan of his work."
[5.0] "The finish looked pretty good and was actually creative but aside from that I really don't see why this match is rated so high. Some of the spots looked a bit too choreographed for how serious this feud was. Rollins being caught on feed loudly calling out spots didn't help things either. Felt like they were just stalling for time till the finish. Fine effort from all three men but this was far from great."
[9.0] "WOW, better than uxpected. While It had to be longer they did unbelievable sequences and good kickouts. Seeing Austin win the titles was the perfect Revenge of the terribile RAW cash in he did. I Hope he Will win the undisputed titles a day. ****1/2"
[7.0] "Spear into the air and win. Do you really like it that much? That's just because of such a moment, I don't understand from where such a high score is. It was a match of course with bright moments, but I can't help but be ashamed when I see such final results. In general, of course, it was fun, there was a Curb Stomp from one back to the neck at once and beautiful flights, the male element of brutality and muscle prevailed in every possible way. The result hurts my eyes too much and does not force me to put an assessment above emotions and what my heart and mind tell me."
[8.0] "Considering only the action, this was probably the best match of the show. Fast paced no nonsense, no downtime, all action; I could have watch these three wrestle five to ten more minutes. All three men had a great performance but Rollins was my MVP. The ending was interesting and protected all three men. Very good match. ****1/4"
[8.0] "I hate multi-mans, but this was great. It told a great story, had unexpected moments, humor, some very impressive spots, and some great work. They manage to do a decent amount of the second half of this match with three guys in the ring. I'm glad to see a match to make me rethink how I feel about 3-ways. I still think they're lazy booking and result in suboptimal matches though. This one had two of the best workers out there today plus Lashley who is a seasoned veteran that executes well. Match of the night really."
[9.0] "This kind of fast & furious rallies in multi-man matches have a special place in fans' hearts and this was no different. All three men were great in execution of offense & cementing their characters as concrete as possible. Rollins is on the level of greatness, Lashley is a ferocious beast who's adored by the faithful still & Theory's renaissance has been exceptional. Speaking of his renaissance, it was completed on a high note as he won the gold back in a strong showdown of diverse styles with a nicely layered ending. I sense that this reign is set to act as a launchpad for him to excel in the minorities and possibly become one of the breakout stars of the following year. 4.25 out of 5 stars!"
[8.0] "One heck of a match! Seth Rollins is operating on a different level right now. Bobby Lashley is as over as he has ever been and is justifying the hype with stellar performances as both a freak athlete and a dominant monster. Austin Theory has hit a new gear and is beginning to put it all together. Together, they put on one of the best triple-threat matches I have seen in some time. There were some mind-blowing spots that screamed innovation. The two most obvious being one of the best Stomps ever and the RIDICULOUS Frog Splash to break up the Hurt Lock reversal. This built steadily and became what may very well have been the Match of the Night. 4.25 stars, 8.5 out of 10. All three wrestlers stood out in a genuinely great match."
[9.0] "Insane match here. I'm shocked how much Austin Theory has improved lately. Everyone got their best hits in and they were hitting each other around the ring like bowling pins. It's exactly what I wanted to see in a triple threat, they went 100 miles an hour from the getgo and I think the right man won. Theory has been buried quite a bit lately, he needed a great match with a big win and this was both. The pacing here was just about perfect, very highly recommend watching this one. *4.5*"
[5.0] "This was fine -- a very generic WWE multi-man match. As usual, 3-way matches suck because they always follow a cycle of 1 guy waiting outside the ring and selling for a while before running back in whenever their next spot/sequence is due, and then the cycle repeats with a different wrestler. It's immensely repetitive and means you can never get invested in anything actually happening in the ring because you know someone is always about to run in, interfere, and make whatever you just saw ultimately wasted. The rule about a 3-way automatically being no-DQ is also just immensely stupid and likewise makes the match worse because of the cheap and non-sensical stuff the wrestlers can then get away with. They had some pretty generic multi-man exchanges and spots early on, with some dull brawling thrown in as well. This made the match pretty unexciting for quite a while, since there was no real creativity, intensity, or physicality to get invested in. Rollins, as usual, moved/ran around a step too slow, with his offence usually looking overly 'floaty' and weak as a result, even though his general athleticism looked good at times. If only he could direct his athletic skill towards more convincing offence. I'm at least thankful that he wasn't in his immensely cringey and try-hard heel mode, since that would have made his performance even worse. Lashley's strength-displays were nice, though his power moves and strikes definitely never looked as impactful as they could have, and he often felt a bit awkward whenever he inserted himself into the multi-man spots/exchanges or whenever he had to quickly interfere. Theory showed some nice athleticism and energy in his various attacks, and he also had some okay arrogant and aggressive character work, making him by far the most convincing performer of the match. Some of Theory and Rollins' run-on counters and trades towards the end were alright, but all 3 men definitely got too cute with their many complex and conveniently set-up/timed 3-man exchanges in the final few minutes, with it being pretty eyeroll-inducing with how Theory fully slipped on a banana peal on his way to getting a totally undeserved win. **3/4"
[7.0] "Pretty exciting match that uses the athleticism of all three men to pull off some genuinely neat, fresh spots, including a finish that seemed to have a real potent effect on the crowd."
[8.0] "Mostly just average it but really built up towards the end. The finish was awesome! No idea why people are complaining about Lashley's spear. He needed to do the move super safely as to prevent Theory from getting his neck broke."
[8.0] "This was super entertaining, with all three wrestlers working well with one another and some tightly executed near falls in the closing stretch. I really think they have something with Austin Theory and I'm glad they're making more of a concerted effort to push him now. Rollins is having a great year and it's amazing that Bobby Lashley can be this good at this age with all the mileage on his body. It's amazing to think that Lashley first showed up on main roster WWE all the way back in 2005 and he's probably better wrestler now than he was at his physical peak"
[8.0] "This allowed everyone to have a good chance of shining, while also incorporating good 3 way spots into the match like Lashley trying to apply a hurt lock on both Rollins and Theory. The crowd and near falls were great all throughout this, everyone played their role well in this with Lashley as the powerhouse, Theory was the annoying heel, and Seth as the champion trying to retain. Seth went for that superplex into the falcon arrow spot and as he went for the falcon arrow Bobby speared him allowing Theory to win although it happened awkwardly.****1/4"
[8.0] "A nice fast paced triple threat match. Unexpected winner as much as I disapproved of how Austin Theory lost the briefcase, I can 100% say that I did not expect a title change this early into Seth Rollins run as champion, if I had to give some criticism the spear at the end lowkey missed and completely ruined the ending of the match especially when the commentators turn around and say "didn't get all of it" then the match ends however it did not really effect the match for me anyways. Fun, solid and quick paced match."
[6.0] "This was a competently wrestled triple threat match. Nothing was bad nor was anything of interest. Bobby Lashley looked incredibly dumb or hitting his finish while not being ready to capitalise on it. Dude, just walk up and kick Rollins in the balls."
[7.0] "Good action in this match and it told the nice story. At the beginning both Lashley and Rollins got rid of Theory and Theory being the underdog who is not taken seriously. The action is very face paced and some of the moves are incredible. The finish was a little bit of a letdown to me as Lashley's spear did not work great and Theory's pin being luck based."
[7.0] "Great match until was severely hurt by the messed up ending spear by Lashley. He saw something was out of place and didn't want to hurt anyone to the point of making it look SO low impact."
[8.0] "Pretty great match for something that seemed so thrown together. Honestly impressed with the finish because I think everyone was protected and came off good from it."
[7.0] "I always say this: Multi-Man matches are super fun! This one is no different, obviously, but at the same time, it could've been a bit better. This had a non-stop action from end to end, which was cool, and the sequences between the three wrestlers were all pretty damn good, especially in the final moments. The finish was pretty unique itself and a great way to protect the champion. ***3/4"
[9.0] "A spectacular triple threat where everyone saw clear chances of winning. They didn't force the epic, they just showed two opportunists and the big guy kicking both of their asses. Without a doubt, this triple threat match will be within a wwe top."
[9.0] "Excelente combate Seth se hizo cargo de todo lo bueno pero los otros dos complementaron el combate, buena decisión para regresarle el valor a Austin y Seth tenga otro rumbo más enfocado a lo estelar"
[9.0] "The match I had the highest expectations for and it definitely delivered. All three have a great chemistry. The ending was brilliant, though the spear looked more like a failed roll-up attempt. I'm very excited for the future of Austin Theory!"
[9.0] "The displays of athleticism in this match were great, with a classic powerhouse and technician mix. The story telling of the match was good, with different turns and moments in which you thought for sure Seth is going to win. The unexpected redemption of Austin Theory, from his MITB cash-in was also great, even though I would've liked to have seen Seth win it."
[6.0] "Good match overall. Rollins is one of the best in the business. But I just can't bring myself to care about Lashley at all. He has the charisma of a wet mop. And I thought the finish was awful. Theory didn't land on Rollins like I think they were trying to do, it looked bad."
[9.0] "My MOTN which is odd considering there was two war games. Some very creative spots here and all three guys brought their a game. I LOVED the finish. Great match."
[9.0] "Match of the evening. Beautiful finish, good maneuvering and good chemistry. This title has regained its value. Theory is the future of this federation. I feel sorry for Seth."
[6.0] "Easily the best match on the card. Rollins' tribute-like offense is at a faster pace. It revolved around him being the better wrestler, though I didn't feel like Bobby was properly sold to be the powerhouse of the match. Theory was the X factor who was often sent to the outside. I understand why the office/fans think Theory is the next man up, but I feel like he's overly generic in every way possible. Unrelated to the rating but the Beyblade advertisement when a wrestler is entering is pretty disrespectful! The finish was objectively laughable."
[9.0] "An incredibly fun triple threat between three great wrestlers. Everyone had their moments to shine, and everyone looked amazing at the end of the match. The ending was unexpected, but I'm glad Theory can earn some redemption after the embarrassing cash-in he made a few weeks ago. ****1/4"
[9.0] "A very very good, high tempo triple threat match. All men looked excellent here, some big moves and an opportunistic win for Austin Theory really helps cement his new character. This may have been the match of the night."
[8.0] "For me, this was a bit of breakout match for "the new and improved" Austin Theory. Very impressive and on the edge to "very good". All three men could shine in the bout and they all performed on a high level - even though they are each 10 years apart (Theory 25, Rollins 36, Lashley 46)."
[9.0] "Ladies and gentlemen, this is a huge match! In ring it's a 8/10 with great, smooth and frantic spots, but the storytelling here is amazing: references to Lashley/Lesnar, the turning face of Rollins, the return of Theory as the badass champ! Great!"
