A Ronda Rousey that doesn't give a damn about wrestling and has lost all the star power she once had, a zero talented botching wrestler in Shotzi, a lame story of "bullies vs bullied trying to fight them" badly sold. The only good thing in this match is it wasn't so long and, despite what I've said about Ronda, her wrestling ability is still there. (1/2 *)"

"I dont know this match is getting such bad ratings. Ok Shotzi isnt great but she was in there to job to Rhonda in a semi competitive match to keep others contenders strong for the time being. Decent semi squash match that did what it needed to do."

[3.0] "Although the winner was obvious from the start, I was still very excited for Shotzi to get a title shot on a major PLE like Survivor Series...but, then, the match happened. I just don't know what happened here. I feel like these two are capable of putting on a solid match against each other, but something was just off in this match. The only memorable part of his match was Shotzi's dive into the fans. I think this match could have benefitted from having a little more time, but Ronda's just been having a lot of very meh matches since her return. At the time of this event, her only good matches since returning were against Charlotte at WrestleMania Backlash and against Natalya at Money in the Bank, but even her MITB match wasn't good by much. This was just disappointing, especially if you're a fan of either, or both, of the women in this match."

[3.0] "Honestly, better than I expected but still not good, not great, Ronda won which was predictable as who truly thought Shotzi would win"

[2.0] "A bad match done by a halfway decent worker in Shotzi. And Ronda is improving in the ring. But this was a match that would've been better suited for TV rather than a Pay Per View."

[0.0] "Legitimately the worst match I've seen this year. Triple H is gonna have to do a serious repair job on the Smackdown women's division. Boring, sloppy, nothing match. The only entertaining bit was the non-bump Ronda took on the apron and Shotzi falling on her ass, one of the funniest things I've seen all year. Giant Gonzalez would be proud. *-3*"

"Underworked and incredibly shoddy, especially when we consider that they brought in a specialist producer, Brian Kendrick, just to set up this match. Be it chemistry, or timing or whatever, the end result remains the same. The match was incredibly poor."

[2.0] "Spanish shame is when you feel a little embarrassed for something you don't do. Here are the emotions. DDT at the corner of the ring was executed poorly, the jump into the fake audience was visible (predicted) at the very beginning. The fighters had zero chemistry. And of course, no normal style exchange procedure was also on the horizon. Only a lot of absurdity and unprofessionalism."

[3.0] "At that point Ronda should stop wrestling forever. She hasn't done a good match since the I Quit Match at Backlash"

[4.0] "This only gets a 4 for the spot where they landed on the " fans" , otherwise quite a poor match, waste"

[6.0] "What? It's not that bad at all...Shotzi is likeable and has a lot of strengths, Ronda's reign has been well booked...this was fine! Just a breezy watch, doesn't drag at all...flat finish but eh not that bad"

[5.0] "This match is not as bad as most people make out, and yes there were botches, including one big one, but it was fine. The big spot over the ring barrier into the audience was pretty cool. The main problem was it never felt at any point like Shotzi was gonna win here. These two have looked way worse, including recently. If I were to rewatch this event I wouldn't skip this but you're not missing anything if you do."

[2.0] "The singular star is because of Shotzi's efforts to give a decent bout against Rousey who's presenting herself as a despicable villain with lost interest unlike her debutant days. There were a couple of cool moments for the challenger, but it didn't garner the support needed from the fans as well as the ability to pull off an upset. Rousey felt like a low tier wrestler here unfortunately by neglecting most of Shotzi's offense especially the DDT debacle. I hope we could see fresh challenges that could bring the fire in Rousey & produce solid bouts, or else Shayna should be the one to dethrone her with ease. 1 out of 5 stars!"

[2.0] "Yeah, this sucked. Rousey did some cool judo stuff, but everything else she did looked awkward and unnatural, and that apron bump was ungodly levels of terrible. This still could have been salvaged to be a mediocre match, as Shotzi was very good throughout. But they only went seven minutes and ended with an instant tap-out, without building to the finish at all. Awful stuff. *"

[2.0] "It was very meh. No drama, mediocre action and there was no freaking way Shotzi wins here. I like Rhonda but she cannot carry a match. *"

[4.0] "I don't think this was as bad as a lot of people are making out but it certainly was not good either. Well below the quality of what a PPV championship match should be really."

[1.0] "My expectations for this match were low and they somehow managed to go below it despite this being kept short . Nothing in this looked good, that botched DDT on the ring apron was really bad and commentary trying to cover up for it was hilarious. Hey at least Ronda had a cool looking judo throw in this match, but other than that this was pretty dreadful to watch.1/2*"

[3.0] "Fucking sloppy, Shotzi is terrible and Ronda just does not care anymore, this had potential to be good but all we got was a terrible showing for both women."

[4.0] "This wasn't a good match, but the performers put in the work, and there were some good moments. Moreover, this served the purpose of continuing to build Rousey up."

[2.0] "This match was the perfect match for a bathroom break or make a cup of tea during. Ronda Rousey is actually so dreadful it is beginning to feed onto the Smackdown division where it is become tainted by her presence. I feel so sorry for Shotzi for even attempting to carry Rousey lousy ass. This is my quickest rating because literally the review itself from others explanation why this was trash."

[6.0] "Ronda is not a great in ring worker but is one of the few people in the WWE who understands her role as a heel. She is not meant to be likable, she is not meant to do cool stuff and she acts like a killer. Wrestling would be better with more people who had her attitude. The camera cuts in this meant it was difficult to catch some of the moves but also hid a lot of botches. To be fair that is consistent throughout WWE, the poor lads running botch accounts on social media do not seem to understand the reason you see less in WWE is because of the camera cuts. I enjoyed this well enough, it is easily the best thing on the show so far as I was never bored. Not sure why people thought ending was anti climatic, the story is that Shotzi was levels below Rondas level, Ronda *should* easily walk through everything Shozti had and beat her easily."

[4.0] "I thought the match was better than most, and honestly better than I expected. Ronda is genuinely terrible in the ring and it was Shotzi doing everything she could to make this passable."

[2.0] "I thought Shotzi put forth a really solid effort, but this one just did not click. The biggest spot of the match was a misfire and it ultimately became another example of how the Ronda Rousey experiment has not worked out this time around. I do not dislike Rousey, but this was not it.+"

[1.0] "Shotzi tried to have a 'babyface goes 200% effort and speed in order to beat up a bully heel' match, and she was exposed as a very limited pro-wrestler. I'm not talking about botches that I think everyone saw by now on GIFs - all of her attempts to sell urgency and fire just fell flat. Rousey was a good bully heel, but this match was supposed to be about Shotzi and she looked like a total loser after she tapped out, on top of a very bad individual performance."

[3.0] "Not a good match. Shotzi and Rousey had no feel like Shotzi would be a threat and the match was sloppy and botch filled. The dive spot was actually interesting but other than that nothing in this match stood out to me."

[1.0] "I don't rate either Rousey or Shotzi. Shotzi's always been incredibly inadequate in the ring, whereas Rousey has always been given the opportunity, especially with her name-power, but has always failed to deliver when asked to."

[0.0] "A late candidate for worst match of the year. Ronda is so bad it is becoming laughable. I hope she is still drawing ratings for them at least."

[1.0] "a disastrous match. there was zero chemistry between these women. Shotzi tried her best but Ronda was shit as usual. the Sasha chants sum it up completely. they need to let this Ronda project go."

[6.0] "I don't understand the low ratings. It was just an average match, it was even better than expected IMO. Shotzi did a good job and Ronda looked as ruthless as usual. The only problem was the anticlimactic finish."

[4.0] "This could've been a 5/6 however this was of course a pay-per-view match that was defending a large title. The spot where they went outside into the audience was interesting, however the actual match was just a bunch of boring moves and submissions from the previous UFC fighter Ronda Rousey. The ending was anti-climactic, and predictable."

[0.0] "Sloppy, boring, and dangerous. A terrible piece of work, whoever produced it should be ashamed. Ew, just ew"

[6.0] "As usual with Ronda matches, far from being as bad as made out to be. Ronda did some nice work targetting different body parts but being too confident, Shotzi went on the attack culminating with the spots in the fans, then Ronda brought it home."

[2.0] "Was war das denn? ! Das Match wirkte sehr gerusht und hatte diverse Botches und generelle Unsauberkeiten. Kein Moves hatte eine richtig dargestellte Wirkung und das Ende kam sehr abrupt. Oh Mann"

[3.0] "Terrible match, Ronda seems checked out or uninterested, Shotzi cannot carry a match and the only good part of this was Shayna at ringside. Dear god this was bad."

[3.0] "Bad match, not positive. Ronda seems to have no desire and Shotzi is not very good. +1 easy for Ronda."

[1.0] "Shotzi dominated Ronda AND Shayna without any external help, only to be beaten in the most possible anticlimactic way. Right, it wasn't a squash, but unfortunately I think it should've been one. I just can't buy Shotzi as a threat to Ronda, but that's booking of course, she's pretty decent as a wrestler. On the other hand, it's concerning to see that Ronda is actually getting worse and worse, and the company has no plans to lower her from that pedestal."

[0.0] "Objectively one of the worst matches of the year. Shotzi has yet to prove that she is a competent wrestler, and the former UFC Champion has been a disappointment. The pace of the match was akin to a snail's, not to mention the significant number of botches in this match. When you look around at the world of wrestling to see what women's wrestling has to potential to be, and then you look at this, it's clear to see that WWE is lightyears behind. A seven minute match that felt like it lasted double. The Boston crowd turned on the match almost immediately and started chanting "We want Sasha". This should've been a quick and decisive victory for a former combat sports champion, not this."

[1.0] "HORRENDOUS MATCH! I will give only one point out of respect to Shotzi, who tried, really tried and showed a better performance here than in MITB. But Ronda is just BORING. She barely wrestles, she just does a couple of very simple moves and submissions, she has no charisma or skill in the ring, she generates no charm or hate and she doesn't give a shit about the Smackdown Women's Title. Absolutely insulting that she is the champion, and at the same time a sad display of how incredibly weak the women's division is there. *"

[5.0] "Certainly not as bad as some are making out here. But a very forgettable unremarkable match. The result was predictable."

[1.0] "This match was just depressing. Shotzi atleast put in a shift, but Ronda (like most of her run since returning) was shit."

[3.0] "The apron botch was very unfortunate, but the recovery from it was considerably worse. Shotzi has been awful on the biggest stages since going up to the main roster, which is a real shame since she's charismatic and no one has a bad thing to say about her backstage."

[2.0] "I begin to think, that Triple H decided to bury Ronda's career without any purpose. She is one of the smartest women in WWE right now and she wrestles against simply nobody. Why? It's awful."

[3.0] "An awful match. Even the great counters looked sloppy. Transitional and generic defense A single kick by Ronda was the only good thing i remember"

[7.0] "It was okay, some sloppiness here and there (shouldn't have went for that apron DDT) but also a couple of cool spots (both top rope spots were pretty great and the jump on the fans) and the wrestling was fine."

[3.0] "This match never stood a chance and it flopped. Both women are capable of good stuff and they tried at points but it was too much of an uphill battle."

[4.0] "Not very good and quite sloppy in parts, but I didn't think it was all bad either. There were a couple moments that I liked, such as Ronda's cool judo throw off the top rope. With that said, I think Ronda's stock has never been lower and I don't think that she is skilled enough to elevate a wrestler like Shotzi in to a particularly interesting match or a believable challenger."

[2.0] "The 2 points are for Shotzi's effort. Ronda failed herself and shotzi in this match. She couldn't sell anything and couldn't do it properly when she did. She couldn't do an actual match either. Couldn't get any heat. No cheers, and she couldn't set up the boo spots. She rushed everything and sold nothing. She could be fired for this match. Seriously."

[4.0] "I didn? t think this match was good at all, but I guess I? m a stand up for wwe guy now in that I thought it was just a slightly below average nothing-happening match that wasn? t a total disaster."

[5.0] "Oof, I've seen worse matches than this one; so I think the overall score is harsh. However, that apron DDT botch by Shotzi Blackheart was just completely unnecessary. Let a superior worker who's very athletic do that spot instead. Shotzi is better off limiting her spots to something that is far more realistic. Anyway, I thought Ronda Rousey was fine here, but nothing remarkable here. I apparently gave this match a 6.5, but I was probably feeling very lenient/generous. I'll stick with an adjusted 5 here though. I didn't hate the match as much as others did."

[3.0] "A very quick match that actually suprised. People were expecting this match to be absolutely asscheeks but it was actually pretty decent. We got a holy shit chant for one of the spots. That's shocking for a Rousey match. I don't think it was that sloppy."

[4.0] "And people who thought the Liv/Ronda match at Extreme Rules was bad thought it was Liv's fault? Haha. This match proves that Ronda is the problem. She's sloppy, slow, cannot wrestle for shit, doesn't sell, and cannot work a crowd. Shotzi tried, I'll give her that, but Ronda was not cooperative at all. Best part of the match was the crossbody on the "fans" in the crowd. The finish was flat, Shotzi got next to no offense in, and we will have to suffer through Ronda sleepwalking through matches for another 5 months. Sasha, Naomi, and Charlotte, please come home. SmackDown needs you BADLY. [*3/4]"

[5.0] "I don't think it was that bad in ring, hence my rating, but it clearly suffered from being a match that nobody cared about, which is maybe the worst thing that can happen in a Big 4 show."

[4.0] "Boring, to be completely honest. Ronda is definitely good in the right circumstance but this wasn't that, Ronda didn't seem to be trying and Shotzi does not pose any sort of threat to have any real effect on the match. If anything this was just a defence to put over Ronda and to put over her new partnership with Shayna. Surely you could do that on Smackdown? Just felt like wasted PPV time. 4/10, very uninterested."

[3.0] "The difference in quality between the Raw and Smackdown women's divisions are a giant chasm and this match showed exactly why. I'd say even the current NXT women's division, with it's various developmental talents, is better than the women of Smackdown. If this was three years ago, these two could've had a decent match. Back then Ronda was still motivated and rapidly progressing and Shotzi's high risk offense was a lot crisper. In 2022 you have a champ who has no motivation and a filler challenger who has badly regressed. The only good spots were the crossbody off the barricade into the crowd and Ronda reversing one of Shotzi's top rope moves into a judo throw. Beyond that it was rotten. Sasha Banks couldn't return sooner and much as pains me to say it, the division needs Charlotte (just as long as she's not shoved down our throats)."

[1.0] "Really bad. Shotzi didn't have a chance to win but there could have been an effort to make her even a mild threat to Ronda and to have a decent match, but Ronda was having none of that. There was zero chemistry here between Ronda and Shotzi, as almost every move was messed up in some way. Shotzi attempted to bring some life into this with a couple big moves from the top rope and some dives, but again Ronda wasn't interested. Shayna was a nuisance to Shotzi, who kept getting distracted by her and actually hit more moves on her than Ronda. Ronda won with the armbar. There's really nothing to say about this other than it sucked and Shotzi deserved better since she actually tried. Ronda is a miserable champion. 1/10"

[7.0] "Sloppy in parts, but I had a great time watching it. Rhonda's presence is stellar, and Shotzi brings a really unique character to the table that made this a lot of fun. Some of the riskier spots didn't seem to finish as plan, but it really didn't hamper my enjoyment much at all."

[4.0] "Shotzi tried, but Ronda is just not good. Ronda was too slow to keep pace with Shotzi and it lead to some disjointed spots. Shotzi's suicide dive and barricade crowd dive are the only highlights here and bring the match to a 4."

[3.0] "God help the Smackdown division, this was painful to watch. The best worker isn? t even on the match, it was Shayna. The crowd is right, we want Sasha."

Shotzi gibt ihr bestes aber es wirkt als ob Ronda gar keine Lust hat zu worken. Teilweise wirds zum 1v2 Handicap Match mit Shayna wogegen der Ref absolut nichts macht. Einfach nur schrecklich. Ronda muss dringend frischen WInd in ihren Stil bekommen. *"
