[8.0] "Great match! I miss when the women's war games matches actually felt like a war. Some SICK spots in this match and great sequences. I don't agree with the winner if I'm being honest, but it was still a damn good one."
[6.0] "I DONT like the Entrances and the cages. Bianca v Dakota Kai is not really an opening i was hoping for here. Odd that Bianca was not just dominating Dakota Kai as they could get the shine back when they are Tag Team vs world champ. not a fan of Heel Bayley and Iyo tbh. Iyo Sky is brilliant as always. Iyo v Asuka was cool. odd structure to send in nikki cross and not bayley and that We had DMG control being beaten and then momentum just shifted out of nowhere. The random shifts happen alot here. I really didn't like the Bayley moment - she entered at an odd time. I dont like the weapon from under the ring kinda stuff. I don't like that the only Team (DMGControl) didn't feel like a team at all. Alot of moments feel like a rumble after the entrance is done... When the Match starts and we get Becky v Bayley and Rhea v Becky it gets better."
[6.0] "As always, I hate multi women matches. There was some good moments mostly from Iyo but it was mostly a cluster of moves with minimal synergy between all women. Rhea and Asuka was pretty good here."
[10.0] "Some amazing spots in this match, and it's usually the case with Women's War Games matches. IYO SKY is constantly and consistently doing bits. Rhea Ripley was very very good in this too, interesting to see her just before she exploded into the mainstream world"
[7.0] "Kinda boring in the midmatch but after the last entrance it speeded up and became so much more enjoyable. Iyo was strangely not as accurate as she uses to be, but her Moonsault from the top of the cage was excellent. Bianca was almost forgotten when they wrote the 95% of the match, but it's not an issue. Not the best Wargames you'll ever see and not one of the greatest, but definetely a good one."
[9.0] "A great WarGames match between both the babyfaces and heels of the WWE main roster women's roster with great action and spots throughout between everyone involved."
[9.0] "this match really deserves more love and attention. I loved this i truly did. Everyone in it is so damn cool and compared to today everyone except rhea is cooler here then they are today. Becky lynch is still the most over woman in the division but you can feel rhea is coming up the ranks and is definitely going to be the rumble winner it just feels kinda weird having rhea be apart of this because why would she honestly care to help damage control? Dakota kai is incredible and truly is one of the more enjoyable parts of this match. Bianca is the current womens champion but it just feels like all eyes are on becky and rhea in this match just because bianca is bland here. This deserves much more attention than what it gets. 4.25 stars"
[10.0] "This match deserves to be higher rated. This was a fantastic war games match. It was structured out very good. So many good spots. I liked the part when IYO and Asuka faced off for a moment. The build up in the match was good. Nikki, IYO, and Becky all jumped off the cage at different times in the match. The storytelling was great. Every women in this match is so talented, they got to shine at a big WWE PLE. It was so awesome."
[10.0] "I dont think its fair this match was so low rated. It had everything, storytteling, good wrestling, good interactions, consistency, and a great end. This has benn one of my favorite womens matches of all the time. They once more showed of what they are made of. The spots were amazing too, add a little of extreme tone to the match. [****3/4]"
[7.0] "Where the mens war game match relied on storytelling, this was a really fun spot fest that did a really good job at getting the crowd going. A lot of cool spots as well as exchanges that would foreshadow future matches."
[8.0] "Excellent opener, best women's WarGames with that of NXT TakeOver WarGames III in 2019 on this date. Quite a few spots including 3 from the top of the cage, an audience that responded. (4*1/4)"
[6.0] "Table assault on Bianca was the highlight of the match. Super creative! Alexa Bliss had a good showcase upon entering, but then became fodder. Nikki Cross got to create chaos without getting too weird. Mia Yim and Rhea Ripley were solid throughout the entire match. Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky got to shine going 2 on 1 against Bianca. Becky Lynch coming in and officially starting the match by hitting everyone like a wet noodle kinda took me out of the match though. Asuka also seemed to be holding back unfortunately."
[3.0] "Well that wasn't the best way to reintroduce the WarGames to the WWE audience. It was so sloppy and didn't have any heat for the most part. All of the bin spots were botched with the giver going through them rather than the receiver and the transitions between the spots were awful as the women not participating in the spot didn't know what to do so they just stand still or lay down for a few minutes. When Rhea entered the ring it got interesting because of her incredible charisma, but this ended quickly. Overall not good at all."
[7.0] "All women did a good job here when it comes to the performance on a very physical match, but the lack of a compelling storytelling is palpable and makes this easily forgettable. We have the typical spots we've seen in previous WarGames, the same thing of bringing weapons to the match, and besides some moments like the ending, replicating the beginning of the whole Damage CTRL vs Bianca rivalry, nothing stands out as great. (*** 3/4)"
[8.0] "Very good opener from all ten women here. Everyone had something to do and it felt like there was constant action. A great showcase for WWE's incredibly talented Women's Division and an excellent introduction of the WarGames Match to fans who might not know much or anything at all. I was interested to see Lynch get the pin for the team, but I knew from there that this would be the start of a Bayley vs Becky feud (Which also happens to be the last 1v1 feud we needed for all Four Horsemen to have had a 1v1 feud with each other on Raw/SmackDown). Overall, great stuff here from everyone involved."
[8.0] "Good wargames. This was a fine spotfest style match with lots of weapons and cool Moments. Yes, there was no story but hell this is really fun to watch, Epic match and match of the night. ****1/4"
[4.0] "I don't like WarGames, because I find this stupid. The fact that wrestlers can't win before all of them are in the ring penalised the match. Nobody tried to pin someone, moreover, that's so weird, it didn't seem natural."
[7.0] "I laughed for a very long time when Nikki put handcuffs on Alexa that were too small for her and she tried to hold them. In general, such a moment embodies the emotions of the match, there was a lot of ridiculous and funny. Of course, I was surprised by the jump from the cage from IYO SKY and the power work of Bianca Belair. It can be seen here that the company wanted to make the match as intense as possible for jumps, falls and punches. In general, I consider this match to be a presentation for fans. For me, this type of match has not been seen for the first time and it is more difficult to surprise me, everything was trivial and like a classic of the genre. Okay"
[4.0] "So here we have 10 womens in a cage with no story told, they're just trying to do SPOTS, and I said trying bceause this was poorly wrestled, + this wasn't bad enough so the wrong team won and absolutely NO ONE comes out of this match better than before"
[7.0] "I really liked the "pre-match" part this time. All the entrance positioning made sense and looked organic, while action on the ring was solid. The ending with ten women, on the other hand, was not as epic as it used to be in NXT, but still nice, mostly thanks to Becky and Damage CTRL teamwork."
[10.0] "I admit I am perplexed that the men's War Games got better reviews than this match, because this was genuinely fantastic. An absolute murderer's row of talent in the match and the action itself was just wild, a rough and tumble battle from start to finish and every single person got a chance to look like a star. This felt to me like as close you can get in spirit to classic War Games without using blood. If nothing else, WWE definitely boasts one of the best women's divisions in the world right now both in talent and genuine star power."
[9.0] "This was an excellently layered starter from the women. Despite a few misfires from both sides, all ten women were presented as prominent combatants with the experience from Iyo, Belair & Ripley adding more value to the story & action. There were highlight reel moments from both sides that could be registered in the minds of fans & Becky's return was handled very well here. She hasn't missed a beat looking confident inside the structure & delivering a great performance. I had the heels to take the victory here after being downtrodden by losses, but it looks like the plans are freshened up for them as well as the champion who has a lot of options to be potentially exercised from here. 4.25 out of 5 stars!"
[6.0] "I wasn't as big into this as some people here seem to be. Some of the spots seemed weird to me and it all felt pretty messy at times. Most of it looked smooth and I like everyone here, but I can't help but think it was 'lesser' than War Games matches of the past. It honestly felt kind of amateurish compared to the men's War Games, there was also an overreliance on plunder. *3*"
[8.0] "Very good match. Becky's return was great and the crowd loved her but the problem was that the ending was 100% guaranteed since there was almost no way that Bianca and Becky would loose. I was slightly in favor of the heels who needed this win. That being said, the action was very solid, Iyo was my MVP but all the women did solid work but it was the Damage Cntrl girls that carried the match. ****"
[9.0] "This was a great opener to the ppv this was a really fun match and had some fun spots this was a very fun match to watch and was not at all boring. ****1/2"
[8.0] "No way does this deserve a lower score than the men's match. Yes, there were quite a few obvious botches but this War Games match actually had big and interesting spots like we have come to expect from the NXT versions. Even if she is clearly not 100% we got another awesome Moonsault from atop the cage from Io Shirai! Is Candice injured? If not she really should have been involved in this for me."
[7.0] "I think this fell into the trap a lot of the WWE War Games tend to fall into where they made the match run for too long and it ended up feeling bloated as a result. The vintage War Games matches usually only went 25-30 minutes and that made them a lot snappier. That being said, this was a good match overall thanks to some hard work from all involved and some wild bumps, especially at the finish. I think you kind of have to treat the WWE War Games matches as their own animal. If you go in expecting the classic version of the match then you're going to be disappointed. For a WWE War Games match though; this was entertaining and a solid effort"
[5.0] "A sloppy mess of a Wargames match. Some good spots but tons of botches to go along with them. So many of the women were off their game in this one. Crowd was quiet throughout. Disappointing match."
[7.0] "This match was good, a few botches but in 39 minutes there was better things than bad. There was great spots and it was a dynamic match, the only negative is the little participation of Asuka and Rhea in the match and the null participation of Alexa, I don't know why they were so little involved in the match. Becky, Dakota and Nikki were great but there is someone who deserves to be MVP is Iyo Sky, despite his double botch, the rest of the match was the best without a doubt, her selling was great, she made very good movements, had a great sequence with Asuka and she was in most important spots and the best spot of the night was her work. I am surprised that on social media there are some slander to Iyo Sky becuase for her botch when she is simply the best wrestler on the roster and although she started slower since she returned, these last 2 months she was at a high level and she botches ( which isn't normal in her) , the rest of the you know that she will not disappoint you and shows why she is a elite wrestler."
[8.0] "I'm not sure what the story of this match being in wargames was supposed to be, but I thought this was enjoyable. It's one of those modern wrestling matches where it's just one big spot after another big spot. There were a couple miscues here and there in this match but nothing too egregious. ***3/4"
[5.0] "The worst women's war games yet, which isn't that much of an insult as the previous three ranged from good to incredible, but still, pretty blah. Rather than fight, anyone who wasn't immediately involved with the spot getting a spotlight laid around on the floor like a loser or stood around doing nothing like a moron. Couldn't the standing people be attacking the prone people? Just bad."
[7.0] "The match was alright and had some good moments and spots however it had many and quite poor botches which did ruin the momentum of the match. Dakota Kai takes the MVP of the War Games solely because her selling was great and she was not scared to take any hard falls or bumps. The tag team champions were made to look weak after Becky Lynch pinned them both after that table spot directly at the end. The camera work during the match was painful since they missed many spots and important cues. I would of preferred if the heel team won personally but it is nothing majorly disappointing."
[7.0] "I enjoyed this one. I think every wrestler had a chance to shine, including the insane double springboard into the Dropkick by Iyo Sky and the Moonsault off the top of the cage that redefined fearlessness. Mia Yim was a show-stealer in this one, as she really helped elevate this match from the moment she entered it. I also really enjoyed seeing the true return of the SAnitY era Nikki Cross. I also have to shout out Becky Lynch here. I do not know how many wrestler would jump off of a cage like that after already reaching the mountaintop. Raw passion. 3.5 stars, 7 out of 10. A fun opener and a damn good match."
[4.0] "This was a typical 'they're just hitting each other with shit' match, but I don't think WWE got a lot of B-roll from this match that they wanted so much - there wasn't a ton wild/crazy spots to remember really. Io Shirai had the least confident/impressive performance I've seen from her maybe ever, she really adapted to me someone who's just trying her best to fit into the environment and lost her aura in the process - not only there were some bizarre botches, she just came across as a desperate spot-monkey. In the end, Becky Lynch came in and was a hero who turned things around and won the match for her team. Just like at SummerSlam, there was a stand-off between Lynch/Belair and Bayley/Kai/Shirai, but babyfaces won very shortly and decisively after that."
[5.0] "I thought this was quite sloppy and uninteresting. There were a lot of spots that took me away from the match. To be fair, though, I am not invested in any of these people."
[7.0] "This was pretty much on par with the NXT women's War Games matches but with some actual star power to make it feel like more of a big deal than those. I think everyone did pretty well here with Bianca and Becky being the clear stars of the group."
[4.0] "Bianca Belair came dancing to the ring which of course really sells to the viewer how dangerous this match type is meant to be and how focussed she is. She is egregiously bad through out this when I thought she was meant to be good. I assumed having seen that, I was going to hate the match so tried to switch on my "WWE brain" which ignores wrestling and tries to be sports entertained. It achieved the worst possible outcome, I was bored out of my mind and judging by the crowd responses for 99% of this so were they. Remember folks, a quiet crowd is the fault of the storylines and performers, not the crowd."
[5.0] "The general story of so many past rivalries colliding showed great potential. But the match itself was direction-less with a bunch of sloppy spots that didn't really mean anything for the result. Except for maybe Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley, everyone was a little bit off here. The dull crowd didn't help; killed off a lot of momentum and I felt really bad for Nikki."
[8.0] "This match was very good and a great kick-off to the show. They were a few minor botches and had a certain level of predictability, however the use of weapons and big moves, made up for that. There was a lot of effort put into the match, and the story-telling hasn't been great for the rivalry in general. It was a little too lengthy, however all WarGames are similar as it is (it was 39 mins long)."
[7.0] "It was a very good match, like all the War Games made in WWE. But in this kind of match, the surprise effect is a bit hard to do, because as soon as someone climbs to the top of the cage, you automatically know he's going to jump. And the fact that Becky Lynch comes in last, and makes her team win, I expected that too. And I'm one of those who think that Becky Lynch could have been replaced by someone else (like Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox or even Sasha Banks). [***1/2]"
[7.0] "A strong opener with some creative and hardcore spots, Nikkis dive was beautiful, Iyo? s was crazy and her upside down kick bitch was hilarious. Rhea and Asuka were great to watxh and i didnt expect Becky to come off the cage so that was a nice surprise."
[2.0] "Just a complete character assassination of the WarGames stipulation. Not sure what separates this matches from the other stop and go spotfests that have become commonplace in modern wrestling. The worst thing about it was that nothing seemed impactful. Sure, blood would've been preferable, but people would pop up from big spots to get to the next big spot. Bianca and Rhea were used to their strengths. The standout of the match was Iyo."
[6.0] "Interesting match, a few botches, a few mistakes but overall good. The girls put in a lot of effort. The match lacked storytelling, however, there were some good maneuvers."
[7.0] "A very strong opening Wargames match, there were some great spots here. The energy certainly picked up towards the end and Becky Lynch was her usual awesome self."
