Sabu & The Sheik vs. Tarzan Goto & Terry Funk

[7.0] "Chaos from start to finish, in a short run time. Stabbings. Fireballs. Tables that won't break. Even a fire extinguisher! Match just keeps devolving and Sheikh starts picking his blood nose with a fork. Crowd loves him but is also terrified of him. Peak crazy old man vibes."

[7.0] "This is good , in the same time there was violence here ! and I like it its so fun and the ending is so so beautiful and it makes sense to me ."

[7.0] "The first part of the match is essentially Terry and Sheik on the outside trying to buy time for the way too old Sheik while Goto and Sabu have a decent match in the ring. Could have probably been a great single match but Terry Funk and Sheik are the reason the Hankyu Nishinomiya Stadium is full. Sheik is still able to bring that manic insanity even at this point and his frequent use of the fork is classic deathmatch meat and potatoes. After a bit they make their way to the traditional tag orientation (as if now the rules matter) and there is a bit of botched mess with those trick narrow Japanese tables. Sabu takes a very stiff German suplex from Goto and the Funker gets the biggest pop of the night on the ensuing hot tag. Terry gives Sheik a few rattlesnake-like jabs but the fork makes another apperance and a Sabu is back in for the 2 on 1 which leads to the fireball spot. Fireball spot seems like it was botched, Sabu seems to take it in the face after it bounces off Funk. Sheik bails to the outside an begins assaulting the crowd with a fire extinguisher he's spraying. Funk gets a chair from Goto who has somehow survived the onslaught of Co2, gives Sabu an unprotected shot to the dome piece and follows it up with a huge Texas DDT. Dragging Sabu to his feet, he gives him a final sitout piledriver that plants Sabu's like a daisy into the steel chair and makes the cover. As FMW matches go, its decent enough with highlights of a young Sabu, and the matchup names at least gets you watching."

[8.0] "Most of this match is just a crazy brawl in the crowd, apart from some classic table stuff by Sabu with Tarzan Goto. The Shiek goes crazy throughout this match, burning Funk with a torch and stabbing the bell out of everybody with a fork. This one is a quintessential FMW spectacle, workrate fans should look elsewhere for entertainment."

[9.0] "This is absolutely crazy. The Sheik can barely move but his presence is proeminent and scary and he adds a lot to the spectacle of this. Obviously Sabu does a lot of the work. They use a table that doesn't break as intended and falls apart when non intended but in a way that actually adds to the sense of chaos."
