"I was asked to watch this match, as an example of Candices excellence. Im not a big Young Bucks guy, but I can appreciate a good match regardless of who is in it. I like Kenny. Whatever. Anyway, I sit to watch this match, prepared for it to be not-my-taste, but expecting something still great as it came highly recommended. Unfortunately, this may be the worst match in history of bad matches. Candace is invisible for a large portion of the match, and when she finally does mount her big comeback, it is as inexplicable as it is absurd. There are gummy bears involved in this match. If you are expecting a wrestling match, disabuse yourself of that notion immediately this is a No DQ wild brawl featuring garbage can lids and other weapons. Frankly, I find it shocking this match is rated so highly."
[9.0] "I don't think it's one of the best matches of all time but certainly one of my favorite matches of all time, the match that made me passionate about the fantastic world of PWG and independent federations. Everyone in this match was absolutely fantastic, they told a simple but fucking exciting story and the ending was perfect. The best match of Candice LeRae's career, she had one of the most absurd performances in PWG history that night. It's a shame that since she went to WWE a few years later she has practically disappeared from the spotlight, she was my favorite wrestler at the time. The Young Bucks from that moment on literally conquered the world instead, becoming one of the best tag teams in history. 4.75 stars."

The sheer brutality of this match is reason enough to be in awe of what these two teams put together, but this is all about the story of LeRae proving that she was more than the punching bag who could endure punishment. Breaking down the barriers and establishing herself as one of the elite of the elite in the top true independent company in the U.S. at that time. And what a story it was. What a display of toughness and resilience. What a moment in time as a wrestling fan. 4.5 stars, 9 out of 10. An all-timer."

[10.0] "In its time, the match was already excellent, but it's easier to think of now as Candice LeRae fighting against the odds on her own in a handicap match, getting bloodied by the dastardly Young Bucks, and coming through to win in front of a hot Reseda crowd. Yes there was somebody else there, but in reality it was Candice who made the match great and memorable, even without what that other person did even being taken into consideration."
[9.0] "Intergender wrestling, gummy bears, and a sneaker covered in thumbtacks, this is the kind of match that I imagine would give Jim Cornette a stroke. This isn't Flair vs Steamboat, it's a very different kind of brilliant. It's oh so very stupid, yet so enthralling enjoyable. Despite some of the dumb moments, it feels like a huge deal when Candice LeRae and Joey Ryan pick up the win. The visual of a bloodied-up Candice celebrating is something that won't leave my mind for a long time. She put in a hell of a babyface performance and The Young Bucks were the best when they were playing irritating little shits. Joey Ryan can rot though."
[9.0] "Well, Joey Ryan aside this is a PWG classic. Despite the fact that I view PWG as sort of a sandbox where wrestlers can just test moves spots and storylines they have come up with a bevy of bangers and this is indeed one of them. Great match. Candice's star performance."

But the combination of insane hardcore moments, the most fiery babyface performance of Candice LeRae's career, the Young Bucks' commitment to being as dastardly as possible, and a crowd completely invested in it all, makes for a must-see match."
[10.0] "This crowd was hyped for this and this showed how tough this was with Candice being willing to do and take the hard core bumps, having that nasty blade job or being busted open or however the blood was produced on top of the Young Bucks being straight prick heels through out the match to the point of taking it too far. This is a match that I have to recognize how great it is no matter how uneasy it made me feel at time. *****"
[8.0] "This was a very fun match, this wasn't a 5-star classic by any means and told no story other than Canice Lerae is much, much more than a pretty face. This was your typical style Guerilla Warfare match and contained brutal spots involving thumbtacks and went long enough to not be too short but not too long to be ott. The crowd was into it and was cheering on The World's Cutest Tag Team and popped at all the right moments which added to the excellent PWG atmosphere, Kevin Steen on commentary also helped. Without spoiling the main spots I promise you there are two in particular that will make you cringe (especially if you're a guy) and the match also incorporated PWG-style engaging humor too. If you're into goofy indy spotfest wrestling then go and watch this, it's on YouTube if you don't have Highspots."
[9.0] "This match is one of the most iconic PWG and Young Bucks matches of all time and for good reason. Although i personally don't consider it their best match ever it's up there as one of their most entertaining. This was a pure spectacle. The crowd was red hot cheering for both teams, and the Bucks were at their chaotic best. There were lots of weapons used like chairs, trash cans, thumbtacks, and even gummy bears. I think the weapon use was terrific and only added to the greatness of the match. The Bucks were fantastic heels, and their control segments were the highlights of the match. They brutalized Joey and Candice in many creative ways that really popped the crowd and got over the World's Cutest Tag Team as sympathetic babyfaces. I loved the Tombstone onto the floor and the use of the thumbtacks in the closing stretch. The Bucks really didn't hold back on kicking Candice right in the face. If i were to nitpick a flaw i think Candice's comeback in the end was way too forced, but i couldn't help but love this. ****1/2"
[5.0] "For a match that was doubly gimmicked, this wasn't entirely bad, and LaRae? s stuff managed to not look out of place. In matches like this, the stuff between the men and women can look really bad because the men try so hard to not hurt the women that it make the spots look bad. That was not the case here."
[5.0] "This match is heralded as a classic, but I found many flaws in it. The beginning portion is way too goofy for the stipulation, as the introduction of Pink Super Dragon Mask and of Gummy Bears severely undercuts the gravitas of the match and does not translate well on tape. The great meat of the match is the Young Bucks control segment, where they dish amazing amounts of creative punishment that Joey and especially Candice absorbs admirably. Sadly, things degenerated into silliness again, as the introduction of thumbtacks seemed artificial, and Candice's crimson mask, while not scandalous, seemed more like a publicity stunt than an organic event. The ending sequence was extremely truncated and again too goofy for it's own good, as the new champions have very shaky credibility and credentials. For comparisons sake's, it resembles a noticeably lesser version of the Mystery Vortex (Cole vs Steen) Guerilla Warfare in structure and sudden ending, and it also does not hold up like their previous challenge against The Young Bucks. A means to an end, but not anywhere near a classic or even good match."

I would give credit for candice for taking some of the nastiest bumps i have ever seen from a female wrestler including the superkick from one of the bucks with a shoe whose bottom was full of thumbtacks. Both candice and joey ryan played babyface role very well. Bucks were excellent as usual. The match got a lot of heat. A pwg classic for sure."
[9.0] "Great spotfest, I'm really loving these after seeing so much good technical and traditional wrestling. These are just buckets of fun to watch without them turning into full on deathmatches although you could disagree when you see Candice at the end of this. I love The Young Bucks in big PWG matches like these, they almost always perform well and this was no exception. (****1/2)"
[4.0] "This match was okay. Some of the spots were pretty ridiculous, like the superkick with a mouthful of a thumbtacks. Stuff like that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. There were also way too many superkicks, not a Bucks hater, but you have to admit that there were a lot in this particular match. The audience did love this match though, and even poped for some of the stuff that I did not enjoy personally. Because of that, I'm going to give this a 4/10 because it would be unfair and not accurate to rate any lower."
[9.0] "While not a complete clinic, still one of the funnest matches in PWG history. Crowd was super hot in typical PWG fashion for cheering and booing the Young Bucks, whilst also cheering Candice and Joey. This match was just crazy with the various weapon spots such as trash cans, steel chairs, tables, thumb tacks and even gummie bears. Yes gummie bears. The Bucks mostly dominated this match by delivering some painfully nasty looking spots to both Joey and Candice especially towards the end with the tacks. Loved the great storytelling with the thumb tack covered boot that Matt Jackson brought in to kick Candice with, because Joey actually stole the boot, threw Matt barefoot first into a pile of tacks letting Candice make her comeback and finish off Matt all by herself in a great spot. The after match moment was pretty bittersweet as it was Kevin Steen's last night in PWG in which he was kicked out of Mount Rushmore, ****1/2."
[10.0] "This was a spectacle. Truly a Guerrilla Warfare, because when it was over, it truly felt like Candice & Joey had won a war against The Bucks. Candice with that face covered of blood holding the tag title belt is probably the most iconic PWG image of all-time. Not much else to add, just a fantastic match. ****1/2"

Candice was the star of the match, as she took some of the sickest bumps I have ever seen and yet even though she was busted open, she was able to finish the match after all. This was not MOTY or best PWG match ever, but definitely one of the most memorable ones and I really enjoyed this. Great effort from everyone involved. ****."
[10.0] "Natürlich fließen hier auch viele Sympathien in die Wertung ein, aber genau wie bei Matt Rushmore passt hier einfach die Story um die beiden Teams. Das Ambiente in Reseda. Die Fans die wieder mal am Anfang nicht wissen wen sie anfeuern sollen und dann diese brutale Härte gegen Candice, welche sich zurück kämpft und so den Sieg und den Titel verdient ins Candyland holt. Das alles wirklich mit Dramatik im Ring. Kleine lustige Sachen wie die Gummibärchen bis zu der Härte mit dem Reißzwecken und einem unglaublich brutal aussehenden Spike Piledriver nach draußen. Gänsehaut in der Halle und auch bei mir am TV. Und als Candice zurück in den Ring kommt steht die Halle Kopf. Genialer Abschluß des Event. Ein besonderes Highlight war auf jeden Fall auch noch Candice mit der Super Dragon Maske. Ausrasten Pur. Danke PWG und danke WCTT und Bucks für dieses erneut emotionale Match. Love PWG!"

[10.0] "Wie es Excalibur so gerne sagt: UN-BE-LIE-VABLE! Unglaubliche Breakout Performance von Candice, falls sie überhaupt noch eine gebraucht hatte. Klar mag das mit den Thumbtacks manchen zu viel sein im Wrestling, aber bitte an diejenigen, schaut nie ein Deathmatch an. Ansonsten ist hier nicht nur Spot an Spot, sondern es wird viel der letzten Jahre aufgegriffen mit den Gummibären, den Superkicks, den Reiszwecken, dem Reiszwecken-Turnschuh, dem Ballsplex und dem Thumbtack-Ballsplex. Candice blutet enorm nach dem Tombstone auf den Hallenboden (bei dem Nick aus dem Ring übers oberste Seil auf den Boden springt, das arme Steißbein). So viel wird hier so richtig gemacht und der Titelwechsel ist absolut fantastisch. Ich weiß nicht, ob da Sympathien zu sehr in meine Wertung einfließen, aber ich fand das Match einfach perfekt und grandios, 10 Punkte."

Abgesehen davon war es eins der besten PWG Matches 2014 und eine absolut berechtigte Guerilla Warfare Stipulation. Es gab Reiszwecken, Gummibärchen und hatte Bumps von allen beteiligten. Gerade hier muss man einfach Respekt vor Candice haben, dass sie sowas durchzieht, aber auch fit für Young Bucks und gut Joey Ryan war das kein alltägliches Match, auf jeden Fall Respekt dafür. ****1/2"
[9.0] "You won't see anything like this again in a long time. Candice has to be a candidate for PWG wrestler of the year, she really gives it her all here and shows she can hang with the men. You won't see any fancy wrestling here, this was a mess of brutality, hilarity, and emotion. The Bucks are the tag team of the year without a doubt, they're just incredible at everything they do, Candice is the most over person in the company right now, all she has to do is throw a chop and she gets a bigger reaction than Roman Reigns, and Joey, well he's just here for the ride. There were so many highlights here it's hard to count, Candice in the Super Dragon mask, the gummy bears, the superkick with the tacks in the boot, the ballsplex at the end. This was a show, this was entertainment. This is the type of match you won't see often because of how brutal it ended up being, but this was fantastic for a blow off. The Bucks had their long reign ended and Candice ended the night with gold around her waist, it was a feel good moment that the crowd just ate up. This match is definitely one you have to see to really appreciate, it's hard to explain in words, suffice to say there was nothing else all year like this. ****3/4"

Candice is a women that trying to feet in a mans wrestling roster, all these things was going pretty well for her until she met the Young bucks. These two little shits fed her a lot of crap till they ended up in a title match. In this match she took the beating of a life time, they busted her up but still she stood up and fight with a large amount of fighting spirit and price-less selling(the selling after the superkick... just wow). Young bucks worked the sadistic guys amazingly, my favorite type of match from them (like in DDT 2011). One of the best matches in PWG for a long time, reminded me why I am still watching the promotion."
[9.0] "Candice took a ridiculous, phenomenal, medically unwise beating every step of the way. The Young Bucks looked down right dangerous, popping off moves with incredible precision, with Nick Jackson staring straight into the camera after doing something shocking on multiple occasions. Remember when these guys had no personality whatsoever and just did flips? Now they’re amazing. I really don’t know what else to say, this was a brutal, violent car wreck of a match, as all Guerilla Warfare matches are, the Bucks were finally unseated from yet another lengthy reign, and Candice LeRae has won a championship in PWG. If reading those things does nothing for you, I can’t help you."
