[5.0] "Alba actually tries to make this match work and it turned out just mildly fine, but the action wasn't the best and their were many botches as per usual with Mandy."
[5.0] "Again relying on luck and intervention. Somehow I'm not impressed and only the work of Alba Fyre makes me praise the fight, she did everything hard and her efforts are visible, but otherwise everything was trivial and simple. I am against such a scenario that does not make me wonder."
[5.0] "I went it to this expecting to hate it since I am a low vote on both of the participants, but I actually thought this was fine. While I still don't think she is very good, Alba looks better when she is a bit of a daredevil like she was here than she ever did in her NXT UK Women's Championship matches. Some of the offence didn't look very good but nothing I thought was too egregious. I was okay with the screwy finish, probably just because I wasn't very invested in this one either way. Nothing to go out of your way to see, but it was watchable."
[5.0] "After all these months of reestablishing Alba as the credible challenger, I thought that this was the perfect atmosphere to drop the ball off Mandy. Little did I know that I could get disappointed! No disrespect to the champion's improvement in certain aspects, but her time has worn out way past its lustre. The thought of giving her this reign of terror not only deteriorates the quality of women's wrestling in NXT, but also the chances of future challengers. The list is pretty much minimal to consider as threats for her and I don't know if Gigi/Jacy are a part of their plan. The action wasn't anything special at all; it felt like a typical brawl that had an interesting debut of Isla Dawn. Her becoming a key factor here depicts that Mandy's record is pretty peculiar in clean victories. Isla & Alba could possibly create a unique rivalry, but who's next for Mandy? ! 2.5 out of 5 stars!"
[6.0] "A fine title match decided by Isla Dawn's main NXT debut, taking her fellow Scot Alba Fyre out to allow Mandy Rose to retain the title. Was hoping for better given Fyre's reputation, but I suppose there's only so much you can do with Rose."
[3.0] "A pretty weak match with an unsavoury outcome. KLR did what she could and took some nasty bumps, unlike Mandy who didn't take any bumps and any offense she took she either didn't sell or made a lackluster attempt at selling. KLR had worked over Mandy's leg but for a long time she didn't sell it at all, then Mandy dropped KLR which I guess, and the commentators claimed, was because her leg gave way, but her 'selling' was so bad it just looked like a botch. In the end, despite Mandy's lackeys not being present due to KLR's previous assaults, Mandy still retained through interference when Isla Dawn made her debut, spraying mist in KLR's face then pushing her off the ladder, through the announce desk. I'm excited to see Isla Dawn in NXT, but I certainly wasn't happy with her input here. 3 points for the effort of KLR, but this wasn't an enjoyable match."
[5.0] "Mandy retains; she's like the Roman Reigns in NXT, you feel like she's never dropping that title. Alba again failed to win gold; I'm pretty sure that was her last opportunity as she will now go into another feud."
