[0.0] "Somehow I actually liked this match even less than the one where Ric Flair nearly flatlined. Logan Paul is obviously a fine athlete to a certain extent, but I feel this match was painfully obvious in that it was structured with no other purpose than to make Logan Paul look far more competent than he actually is, just planned and over-planned out to within an inch of it's life. The nightmare vibes of Logan Paul's insufferable aura combined with happening on one of these Saudi shows is just a horrifying vortex that overshadows everything else going on. Insanely long for what basically amounts to a match designed to coddle a celebrity, not to mention extremely overbooked to further hide all the qualities he lacks. This was just extremely not for me."
[8.0] "A match that makes one hate just how impressive Logan Paul can be in-ring if given the right tools to succeed. The spots worked well, and the cameo from Logan's just-as-hateable brother was a solid touch. The match made no sense to work the way it did. [****]"
[5.0] "A pretty fine but basic main event from Roman Reigns and Logan Paul. Logan brought a good fight, I really do appreciate, but it felt mostly what he did is just flips and dives, lack of physicality. But it has ended with all Roman's family interference and then Roman eventually retained, very typcial and predictable. [**3/4]"
[9.0] "How? How did a match that I thought would suck and be the worst match of 2022, become one of my favorite matches of 2022? I still can't believe how great of a match this was. We all knew Logan wasn't winning cause that'd be stupid to put the belt on him."
[6.0] "I don't care how many millions of followers Logan Paul has on social media. I'm not interested. I don't like seeing a guy from "outside" come to fight in the main event against the champion. Even if the champion is Reigns and his belts have taken root. Anything other than a squash would upset me. Sorry. Logan did a decent performance. (Better than many guests). But he's a guest and putting him on the level of the champion makes the whole roster look bad. Why does a guy from outside seem to be able to beat Reigns and all the professional wrestlers who have been here for YEARS look light years away from being able to beat Reigns? That's the point for me. I know this is "good for business." A celebrity. His followers. Money. Arabia. More money... But I must be a nostalgic guy."
[7.0] "Embedded in a context in which a B-list celebrity could replace the long-term champion as a guest athlete, the match starts with an outrageous story. Of course, that's a lot of rubbish. However, the match itself is much less bungling, as Logan Paul provides really convincing basic conditions that make an absolutely presentable match possible. In the final sprint, there are too many side battles and external interferences, whereby the arriving personnel are granted complete entrances with pomp and music. Rounded up."
[10.0] "This was one of those matches that really shouldn't have worked, but somehow, someway, it did. Logan Paul was still improving as a singles wrestler, but here he gave his best wrestling performance to date against Roman Reigns in this really fantastic and insanely entertaining match and this cemented him as an annoyingly fantastic wrestler."
[7.0] "This was a really fun encounter, however I just think it makes absolutely no sense how Roman Reigns almost loses to Logan Paul when Roman has had 1000+ more matches then Paul, which really takes me out of the match at times."
[6.0] "A fine match, almost good. The result was a dead give away and took alot from the action, which was good however. It is crazy how good Logan is and how big of a heel star he could be. Roman was good and played his role and tribal chief great. A match that is worth watching"
[8.0] "This match had no right to be this good, but it is what it is. Main reason why this match worked, is because Logan Paul is a great "Spot-Monkey" (in a positive meaning), and Roman is already good enough to control timing in a match, so Logan doesn't pull all the triggers in first 7 minutes of the match. Only problem was, that there was no chance of Logan beating Roman for the title, so at the end of the day, we could only expect a good match, and no shocking result - but overall very fun and memorable match Paul is crazy good for how little experience he has (he had even less in this match)."
[6.0] "This match was all about making the crowd to go nuts for Paul's big near-falls, but ultimately the crowd pops for both kick-outs were underwhelming. Reigns' selling was pretty good here, I think he understood he needed to try a little extra hard to plant seeds of doubt in the outcome, but the crowd just wanted to see a 'spectacle' more than anything else. Jake Paul's run-in was hilarious and him taking out both Usos with awful looking punches was even funnier. The post-match was total clown fiesta, I couldn't believe how much they committed to the irony - I bumped my rating from 5 to 6 just because of how much they made me laugh."
[7.0] "Probably Logan's best match from the wrestling standpoint, (although I enjoy his WM match with Seth a bit more) and a breakout performance from the Paul brother. I don't really find Roman's tribal chief era that great in terms of match quality, but this is what every match of this type should be. The obvious problem is that the near falls don't work because there was no world where Logan was winning, but I think they did the best the could under that circumstance. 3.75 Stars."
[9.0] "Logan is the real deal. I was sceptical about putting a rookie against the WWE champion. But it worked out perfectly. Logan will very likely have this belt in the future."
[9.0] "One of the biggest surprises of 2022, let alone this PPV, was just how good Logan Paul is. When this match was announced, I truly thought this was going to be an incredibly weak celebrity involvement match to keep the wheels turning until Mania, and let me tell you, I have never been so happy to have been so wrong. Logan proved that he was in the business for keeps, not just for attention, and if this was a baptism of fire, he came out smelling like roses (are my metaphors getting confused here? ). Some of the best wrestling matches are those in which you are able to suspend your disbelief, and whilst just looking at the card you'd think "oh, of course Logan's not going over", in actual fact, he convinced you that he really could."
[4.0] "Amazed that the score for this one is so high, even if I wanted to be really kind, I can't think of anything in this match that particularly stood out. I found this overbooked, way too long and just not particularly compelling, I don't really care about Logan Paul, the whole celebrities stuff in WWE is often a bit rubbish. And I feel like it's kind of just more of the same from a lot of these Roman Reigns matches at the moment, so many interruptions and interferences just kind of kills it for me."
[8.0] "An astonishing but successful booking. Paul is really convincing in the ring. The overbooking of the last 10 minutes is well done. I have no complaints about this match. (4*1/4)"
[8.0] "I watched with a great deal of caution, because that kind of bout isn't my cup of tea at all. Nevertheless, Reigns made look like Paul like a million bucks. And it blows my mind that this shithead of Logan Paul is so good in the wrestling ring. His athleticism was surely the highlight of this fight, and Reigns had just to sell it properly. He played his part pretty well. His dominant heel persona was really effective. Reigns is like a modern day Triple H : not the flashiest worker, but the man had the sense of timing, selling, and movement. Roman underestimated Paul, and that was the right story to tell. For sure, the good old WWE overbooking was another highlight of their encounter. I'm not the biggest fan of it, as if I wasn't used to it... Just, interventions with entrance music were pretty lame. I was really curious about this one, and it exceeded a good bunch of my expectations. Paul suits so well, that's crazy. And he did some crazy spots and took nasty bumps. Pity that he injured himself, but he gave everything he had and showed all his guts. He's so natural for that shit, at least in the entertainment aspect of wrestling."
[7.0] "This was good but a little bit overrated in my opinion. The first few minutes was just Roman toying with Logan, then for some reason Logan was able to do any move to Roman and took control, which looked cool but made no sense, this is a Wrestlemania main eventer almost losing to Logan Paul in his third match."
[5.0] "It's a fun enough spectacle to watch, but i really did not think it was that good. Logan is quite good given his lack of experience, but why is he in a title match as a complete rookie? It is never a question that Reigns is going to win. But because Logan is so limited (as you would expect given his lack of in-ring action), Roman has to spend forever selling a simple gut-wrench suplex. It's ridiculous."
[8.0] "If Logan's first few matches showed his potential and his match against The Miz showed his progress, than this match made him a star. Paul as a babyface shouldn't work, but it somehow did in this enviroment. He's so fluent with his moves and his incredible athleticism is just outstanding. The freeze frame of him jumping towards Roman's Superman Punch looks great and even though I could do without his brother's interference the crowd didn't mind seeing Jake."
[10.0] "Genuinely one of Roman's best singles matches ever, and with a guy who's not even a wrestler, lol. There was constant action, and no 'you think you're special you do' NXT DIY melodrama or constant high spot bungus, it was just these guys laying it out there and rassling. Logan played the underdog role so perfectly here it makes my teeth hurt. It's like watching the best Benoit match out there. *5*"
[8.0] "When it comes to the In-ring aspect, I don't think it's the best match of the night, but the big fight feel was palpable from beginning to end. Logan's performance was incredible, Roman's performance was unbelievable, they had a match with simple sequences that Logan could follow easily, one of the reasons the match feels so slow at moments. The interferences from The Bloodline and Jake Paul doesn't affect the quality of the match, but Solo Sikoa was there just to pose with The Bloodline at the end. The fact that they had to make Roman vulnerable against an outsider with 2 matches of experience is something that drops my rating, but in general they had a decent Main Event. And God, that ending with Roman unleashing his inner fury after he beats Paul was amazing. No doubt The Bloodline storyline is the best of the last 10 years in WWE. (****)"
[0.0] "Logan Paul is so naturally talented at this it boggles my brain. However, it annoyed me to no end at the same time, like the whole aura of this was insufferable just awful vibes that I never wanna surround myself with. It's Everyday Bro used as entrance music for Jake Paul is insane"
[5.0] "Logan Paul may have fooled everyone else, but he can't fool me. Pair this up with another formulaic Roman match and you get yet another overhyped bit of business."
[9.0] "While I personally don't care for Logan Paul, I have to admit that he had a great performance against Reigns here. I knew they wouldn't let him win this, but man did he do great. Paul continues to prove doubters such as myself wrong, and while I still don't personally care for him, I'm looking forward to him facing Rollins at WM39. As for Reigns, he was fantastic as usual. I can't really put this last part against the match itself, since it's a personal thing, but I just despise Jake Paul. Despite that, I completely understand having him here to try and combat the rest of The Bloodline. Overall, this was a great match in which Paul really proved himself to anyone still doubting his commitment and abilities in the ring."
[9.0] "I really don't understand the fans who still refuse to accept the Logan Paul. He tries very hard in his matches, and that's a fact. Yes, he did not do the most socially approved things in the past, but he did come out and apologize. In his Pro Wrestling career [until Elimination Chamber 2023] he didn't give the fans a reason to hate, but still, a lot of people bukp him... I loved that at the show in Saudi Arabia, Logan finally got the warm welcome he deserves . As for his matches, every time they are better and better. In this match, Logan Paul really looked like a mainiventer, the only thing he lacks at this stage is a good story. If desired, he could be something more than a part timer. Well, I can give ****1/2 to this duel without any conscience, it was fresh and it was very interesting to watch it."
Match ***1/2 - Show -*"
[6.0] "Overrated match. Logan is a better fit for AEW or CZW. He does "moves" well but everything other than moves he does poorly. His acting, presentation, selling, character and body language are all subpar and I don't believe you can be a good wrestler with just moves which is why I compare him to an AEW or CZW wrestler."
[4.0] "Not even close to as good as the propaganda machine has been selling people. He had no business being in this match. Matches have to be realistic. Its duplicating a fight. Youtube kid vs Roman Reigns is an insult. Reigns made it a match while dipshit did his big spots he practiced."
[9.0] "Surprisingly good match. Logan is one of the better workers in WWE right now, which says a lot. He has natural athleticism and clearly a lot of love for the business. He went out there and bumped like mad. His buckshot lariat was the best I've ever seen too, and I'm not trying to insult Page, but give credit where it is due. I have my doubts that Logan can pull it off so smoothly if it becomes a signature spot for him though. The match loses two points for the run-ins occurring before the match finish. Roman needs to win clean especially against Logan. Otherwise this is a good match that deserves a look."
[8.0] "i was very impressed. for a Saudi show, this was perfect. the match exceeded my expectations. it was overbooked as hell near the end. Logan didn't miss a beat tho. he took some bumps and did a few crazy spots. it sucks that he got injured but he showed out."
[9.0] "This match was very exciting and flew by quickly, I think that the match was of course overbooked, but Logan gave it his all and pulled it off too, it was definitely a spectacle and memorable matchup, therefore I give it a 9/10."
[7.0] "I guess Logan Paul is now proof that a genuine desire to be in the business and good athleticism combined with good training can get somebody ready to work a main event within 1 year. He did the basic stuff you'd learn in wrestling school throughout the match, did some famous finishers he liked, and threw a few solid punches. I can't even say he had a lot of charisma or good selling or anything, he just impressed with his longevity and his athleticism in this spot as a celebrity. As simple as you can get from Roman's formula, but hey, it told its story (Roman underestimates this Youtuber and has to take him seriously after he's already lost the upper hand) and it was very effective as a result. Helps that this crowd was HOT for everything, even the drawn-out interference to excuse a Jake Paul cameo (the idea that they protected Solo from having to sell for him was hilarious). This got overrated I think due to everybody underestimating Logan as much as Roman was booked to, but props to him for putting in 110% and working through a leg injury for half the match. ***1/2"
[9.0] "Might be the best match Saudi Arabia has ever seen. I did not believe Paul could wrestle as well as he did in that match. Bloodline spots with Jake Paul worked great. Logan showed amazing heart by continuing despite the knee injury and for the most part you could not tell he was injured. Match told the proper story and the crowd enjoyed it even going from fully behind Reigns to fully behind Paul. Very ucey match."
[8.0] "great match, overbooked as hell and I do wish that Jake & Solo actually did something together, but overall a great performance by both men, easily my favourite Roman title defense of the past year."
[8.0] "How to make a top-level match in one with minimal experience, well, just fantastic. Single performance by Logan Paul and give him the titles already, he is the best wrestler in WWE without question. The dude gave out a phenomenal spectacle and was remembered more vividly than anyone else on the whole show. As a result, he lost count from three receptions. Roman Reigns booking happened again, where he wins very simply and spoils the whole impression. Roman is good when he gets beaten up, not the other way around. As a result, there were a lot of emotions and I was delighted, but if you think about it, they showed us the same thing again and didn't even bother to fix the situation with all these interventions."
[7.0] "Far better than it had any right to be. Logan Paul was seemingly born for this, and Roman Reigns helped to carry him to a classic, one of the best celebrity appearances in the ring ever. Jake Paul's involvement drags the match down a good bit though."
[9.0] "great match. I did not expect to see such a good match between Logan and Roman. Logan is in great shape and I would even say that he performed better than many wrestlers. The man has been wrestling for less than a year! How are you Dominic? I thought the match would end with Usos' usual interference. But Jake Paul and Solo came out. I was pleasantly surprised. 4.75 star"
[9.0] "Shockingly good. I am very entertained by the layout of this match. I think it was perfectly booked for Logan Paul, who showed an impressive performance here. He was really athletic and did moves smoothly. He got a lot of time and space to shine and Reigns was a great partner for him. About Roman, he did his usual stuff and they all looked good. The overbooking was a classic WWE tactic but it worked well here. Definitely a thumb up."
"Strong showing for Logan Paul. He made you believe there was a small chance that he could win. Roman is great as usual. Great setup to introduce Jake Paul as well. The GOAT keeps putting on main event quality matches. When Roman's music hit the atmosphere changes, big time all the way."
[9.0] "Despite being thrust into the main event of a stadium show in only his third match, Logan proved his ability to deliver in both the physical and storytelling capacities as a wrestler. The table spot was executed to perfection, and in the ring he pulled out some surprising maneuvers with the technical skill of those much more seasoned. Roman continues his streak of great championship bouts while making his opponent seem just threatening enough that his downfall could be a possibility. The Bloodline's as well as Jake's interference in the last few minutes worked quite well for this match, even if the formula may be familiar. Truly exceeded expectations."
[9.0] "MOTN It was quite the spectacle, and the Roman and Logan played their character arch perfectly. Logan Paul dazzled with true ELITE in-ring talent, you can tell Shawn Michaels has worked hard with him and that Logan has incredible athleticism that's legitimately eye-popping. Certainly the match of the card but this went from a match some fans mocked when booked, to a legitimate banger that has loads of replay value. Great match."
[9.0] "The layering of this match was done really well similar to Roman's matches as of late. Locking up & center in the ring to start, finding the rhythm with great elements of improving the story arc in a methodical pacing and executing high range moves when needed. Logan's arc was built up to a solid entertaining story of unexpectedly landing the "one lucky shot" and stealing the win. The layering of Logan's offense was done in an exceptional pattern of showcasing the best moves he learnt through his training like the buckshot lariat. Roman underestimating Logan as a threat, finding the capability of him & replying in his style of dominance - all these aspects of the story are done with grace & groove. Once the frog splash through the commentary desk was landed, the overwhelming interferences spilled all over creating a chaotic scene similar to SummerSlam's main event. After neutralizing the shenanigans, Roman capitalized and prevailed as the reigning champion. This performance by Logan will be talked for years and after Pat McAfee's showing against Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: XXX, this is the best celebrity showcase done on a PPV. Huge props to those who worked on the match in & out of the ring as well as behind the curtains. 4.25 out of 5 stars!"
[5.0] "The first half of the match was a fun match that made Logan look like a star, but he should not have gotten as close as he did. The one lucky punch story got thrown out the window when Roman kicked out of it, and the last half was extremely overbooked, especially with Jake Paul being able to lay out both Usos handily."
[6.0] "This was way better a wrestling match than I expected but then they had to water it down so much by the ridiculous amount and execution of the runins. 6/10 breads"
[6.0] "This was fine. Roman's heel antics and mannerisms aren't particularly interesting. The stalling and elongated holds come across as meandering. He gets upstaged by Paul's athleticism here and just isn't impressive. It falls apart in the last five minutes with the Bloodline fighting with Paul's entourage. Better than it had any right to be with Paul being in his third match ever."
[6.0] "Impressive. Logan is an unbelievable athlete, take bumps and performed some crazy moves. Yeah, he ended up injured at the end but what an incredible effort Unfortunately, that's not enough to say he his good"
[9.0] "This was one hell of a spectacle. Obviously Logan Paul was able to perform all of his moves smoothly because he's athletically gifted, but he actually did the little things in this well like getting the crowd into this match with his movements, his facial expressions were also strong. Roman did a great job in the leading match, setting up all of Logan's big explosive offense and his selling was really strong especially when Logan hit that one lucky punch and he started selling his jaw. The overbooking after that table spot was fun even if it was only meant to pad match time.****1/2"
[8.0] "A great match overall, but I didn't like the story. I mean, Roman has been the very best for two years and he looked weak against Logan Paul, didn't make sense to me. On the other hand, Paul did everything in an amazing way, this guy is a real athlete."
[6.0] "I guess WWE isn't for me. I mean, both guys have 'the look' & the athleticism was praiseworthy, but I never believed it was a fight & the presentation was tacky af. Guys get entrance music for run-ins during matches now? ***"
[8.0] "As pretty much everyone else said, this was way better than it had any right to be. Even with a few caveats, Logan Paul has stumbled into becoming a very good wrestler in a short time."
[5.0] "For anyone that does not know, Logan Paul became famous for going into places and acting against the rules/traditions/cultures of said places. All to gain a few clicks on social media. So there was a very real chance that he would do that here (shoot) on his biggest stage to do so yet. He got a somewhat mixed but mostly positive reception from the crowd but I wonder what he thinks of Saudi people? Hmmm...? The wrestling portion was the best part of the match even if it was essentially Roman carrying Paul for 20+ minutes with the latter working in a few fantastic athletic moves he had picked up. I would probably rate it higher if it was just that but the whole social media influencer angle came to the forefront when Jake Paul (is he even worse? ) came out. This is when it really hit me; I am a wrestling fan and don't have any interest at all in this match (unless it was going to be a squash). If I want to watch a 25 minute plus 'epic' I'll just put Kenny vs. Okada on or something."
[2.0] "About as exciting as watching a snail run a marathon. This is just nonsensical garbage that tries and fails to take Logan Paul's ability to jump kind of high and build a 25-minute main event out of it. Roman does his best to stretch the runtime as long as possible in between spots, but the time-wasting here is just unbearable, especially when it can only be filled by atrocious, dumbed-down announcing. Nothing that happened after the table spot made even a little bit of sense (Where's the double countout? Solo gets held back by security but the Usos don't? ), and the ending comes in pretty much the same way as every Roman match since his return. I'm annoyed with everyone who lied to me about this terrible, terrible match."
[6.0] "This was fine. It was far better than expected for Logan Paul, but it was never believable that he could win. With the very unsubtle, "Lucky Punch" line being thrown around, we knew what was going to happen from the start. Logan would hit the "Lucky Shot" Roman would kick out. There would be shenanigans. Roman would win. That's exactly what happened, and frankly, its insulting to have Roman go 30 minutes with Logan. Logan isn't a wrestler. He should've been squashed clean in 2 minutes."
[10.0] "This was a instant classic this match far exceeded my expectation and logan paul is so good in the ring this match felt like a true main event match just so many cool moment we all knew roman was winning but they did something special too bad logan tore his acl and mcl hope he come back soon instant classic. *****"
[9.0] "Logan Paul did an absolutely great job with his main event challenge, there was a cool virtuoso match that had the enthusiasm to surprise everyone and they did a good job, just as it turned out Logan was injured during the match and he finished it perfectly, for which respect to Paul."
[9.0] "A very good match for a wrestler who only wrestled 3 times, yes, you read that right, only 3 times Logan Paul wrestled and he is carving out a great reputation in wrestling. The result was predictable, but the show is assured."
[9.0] "A great match that shows how Logan is taking it seriously and for a third match stepped up to the moment and put on a great performance. Also Roman continued with being super consistent that he has had since his title reign started. It was very good wrestling and great sports entertainment."
[7.0] "Quite the spectacle. Logan Paul is athletic as hell, we've been knowing that, but what he also showed here, in regards to pro-wrestling, was great timing & super solid basics. They built up to his big, explosive moments very nicely w/ Reigns, and overall this whole thing was a very good match that told its narrative really nicely throughout."
[7.0] "I don't like match with underdog as hell. So, the match was all about Logan Paul being the underdog, and that's not what I like. But it was a good match too and the crowd was here."
[8.0] "Logan had a better performance in this match than most wrestlers who've wrestled their entire lives do. The frog splash while holding the camera was amazing."
"Great match, one of the greatest that I have seen this year. Both Roman and Logan made great performance, and there were severl moments that you could believe Logan could win this."
[5.0] "A lot of fluff to make it not alienate fans who don't understand Paul getting a title shot. Paul is impressive considering his experience but some moments like the sweet chin music that was to be countered looked horrible. He brought star power in this but as a match itself, the interference, etc it's a **3/4 affair. Entertaining though for sure."
[6.0] "Not a bad match but not as good as everyone is rating it. Very overbooked and the match would? ve been better if it was shorter. Paul clearly has athleticism but he does have a ways to go before he becomes good. I thought he was a lot bigger than he was but he looked small compared to Reigns (who is a big guy but not the biggest). He also got injured in the match showing how if you? re not bumping a lot, you can easily get hurt. But the overbooking and the fact Jake Paul HAD to make an appearance overshadowed the match. If Jake had any respect, he would? ve just let his brother shine."
[6.0] "I was enjoying this match until everyone interfered and it became overbooked garbage. Logan Paul is great and has proven me and many others wrong. The addition of Jake Paul is a terrible decision because, well, he's awful."
[8.0] "Great match and one of Roman's best defences. Logan is spectacular, hitting all of his moves with a nearly unmatched athleticism. He is unbelievable for somebody so inexperienced - he even gets some of the smaller details that allow the crowd to connect with him. The revelation that Logan got injured halfway through the match makes this an even more remarkable achievement. I really wanted to give this a higher rating, but unfortunately the interference was terribly executed and lead to a poor finish that really detracted from what was otherwise a really exciting and impressive match. Still a lot of fun and worth watching, but this could have been even better if the booking around the finish wasn't such a mess."
"This match had no right being as good as it was for the amount of ring experience Logan Paul has. I fully expected him to phone it in for all his appearances but he's really put his all into every match and is improving at an insane rate. The only real misstep was bringing in Jake as well, the dude did not need to be there and it threw the pace way off."
[7.0] "How the heck is this rated so high? At best, it was just a good match. It wasn't anything special, and it had the same overused interference by the Usos (plus Solo Sikoa at the end). Strangely enough, I thought Logan Paul carried this match; which is EMBARRASSING for someone overpushed like Roman Reigns."
[7.0] "What a performance once again from Logan Paul, this guy is made for wrestling, it's clear. The relaxation he has during the frog splash through the table with his phone, he even reinvents this spot. A trigger even on the forearm welcomed by Reigns. He gave it his all with a perfect heat from Reigns once again. The interventions are there and maybe too present, the referee even stops the outside count that I still find as bad as decision."
[6.0] "Expected decent things from Logan Paul, so wasn't blown away. He's obviously competent. Roman did brilliantly to navigate this match. The extras stuff was OK, didn't drag too much."
[8.0] "I wanna rate it higher because Logan is the fucking man but I gotta be fair as well. This was great and probably the best Roman defense since Cesaro at Backlash 2021. It's between this and the Riddle match on Smackdown. What Logan Paul has done, getting so good at wrestling in such a short time and with only 3 or 4 official matches is crazy and has to be commended, the people training also deserve massive props. He's a super athlete, he's fast, he pulls out cool moves and he bumps and sells well for someone so new. Great match, tons of fun. ****"
[9.0] "What a fucking match. Either Logan Paul is doing the old Terry Funk trick of hitting your opponents for real or he's one of the best ever when it comes to hitting moves. Everything he does looks so stiff, clean yet rough and real at the same time. There is literally no one else in WWE that hits them like him. This is in my top 5 MOTYs. ****1/2"
[7.0] "Roman started the match being the arrogant heel, not taking Logan Paul seriously and toying with the challenger. Logan is very good in the ring, surprising Roman with some nifty moves and gaining the upper hand over the champion. The story of this match was whether Logan would be able to get that "one lucky punch" to defeat Roman, coming up just short a few times. The near falls were very well played, as Roman cut it close. Logan set up Roman on the announcer's table and hit a huge splash from the top rope. Unfortunately, this is when the match became way too overbooked. Jimmy and Jey came down to ringside and dragged Logan's friends from the front row into the ring then beat them up. Jake Paul came down to the ring and hit two crappy looking worked punches that left them laying. Logan put Roman in the ring for a frog splash (which looked great) that Roman just barely kicked out of. Solo Sikoa came down to confront Jake but was held back by security, just as Jimmy and Jey got back up. Logan did a dive to the outside, taking out Jimmy and Jey again. As Logan got back into the ring, Roman hit a Superman Punch then a spear for the win. Had there been no shenanigans, this would have been great. There was too much nonsense that happened and it really took away from the match itself. 7/10"
[9.0] "I do not know HOW Logan is so good at wrestling, I do not know WHY Logan is so good at wrestling, but he is just so damn good at wrestling. Exciting main event."
[8.0] "Lot of really great moments in this match. I would've rated it even higher but it went off the rails after the splash through the table and all the run-ins started. Killed the momentum of the main performers IMO. But, an excellent match and Logan Paul looked fun and like a star."
[8.0] "Would? ve been a 9 if not for the weird overbooking at the end. Roman was brilliant. Logan is a natural. Great drama and exciting. Can? t complain too much at all."
[7.0] "The moments where Roman was in control made it feel like a traditional Roman heel match, which isn't bad by any means, but I feel like it's just ran its course. Logan Paul is legitimately an incredibly talented wrestler despite how many times he's actually been in a wrestling ring. Incredibly impressive."
[6.0] "Kind of confused why this match is getting high praise. Logan Paul proved himself but it takes two to make a match work and Reigns didn't justify anything except going through an announcer's table, so why 8-10 ratings from one worker mainly? This is Logan's third match while he faces the Champion who has been wrestling since 2011 then the following year making his official debut totaling 10 years. The match was decent, it dragged some and picked up some then setting up for a lot of unnecessary interference and a wildly predictable outcome. I'm sure a lot rated this match high so they acknowledge their Tribal Chief, well I'm not one of them and I call it down the middle. Guess next match we see is Roman Reigns vs Jake Paul... xD"
[8.0] "Overbooked like everyone says, but this is WWE and Logan Paul; you should expect some "spectacle". Paul once again looks great but supposedly he's been working really hard on this match. Good for them for protecting him and making sure he succeeds. This type of celebrity is perfect for wrestling and helps bring this 100 year old art form into the 21st century. It seems like Paul is down to be something close to full-time. The dude doesn't have to work for the rest of his life, and if he likes wrestling then we should welcome him. This match was fun to watch and got me pulled in a time or two. A lot of that is thanks to RR who is really talented in a lot of not noticeable ways. I've noticed it before, but he's great at 2 1/2 kickouts. Great trash talker, and great with the cocky heel pantomime and face. That said he's capable of very boring matches as well. Paul looked super focused which worked well for the story. Despite the overbooking, there isn't a bullshit finish. Overall very compelling and fun. More Logan please. I can't wait to see him vs Theory or MJF or something in the coming years."
[7.0] "Once again Logan proved that he belongs in the wrestling ring. It still annoys me that he gets it... but he gets it and it's pretty unbelievable that he is competing at this level after having only 3 matches. He didn't have a chance against Roman and ultimately, I think they gave him a little too much(especially, given the story of this feud was about hitting that lucky punch and there wasn't anything lucky about the delivery of said punch and the match was very competetive) but he lost so everything's good. Just one request from me... please don't bring Jake into this. He's beating up MMA guys, don't let him beat up the wrestling guys to."
[7.0] "Credit to Logan, he looked solid in there. He hit his moves well. Roman sold well for him too. The early going was a little slow with Roman dominating, then Logan comes back and hits a ton of big moves before The Usos come out and attack his entourage. Jake Paul comes out and gets rid of them before Solo confronts him but gets immediately pushed away. Logan dives on the Usos, goes back in and Roman spears him. The finish was too overbooked, but I can appreciate the effort in trying to make it seem like Paul stood a chance. Hopefully that's it for Roman's celebrity tour. [***1/2]"
[9.0] "Logan has proven that he is talented. He's had better performances each match he competes in. Shame that Reigns didn't beat Logan clean, because he should have done that. He's been losing his credibility with The Bloodline helping him all the time. Nevertheless, the match was very good and it woke the crowd up."
[4.0] "THE OVERBOOKING, MAN! While Logan did very well in the ring, I just can't get over the fact that he got so much offense against an "indestructible" Roman. Also I have the same problem with this match that I've had with Profits vs. Usos from MITB - why having Logan get this amount of nearfalls, when it was pretty obvious that Reigns will retain? And the ending is just a pure chaos in the wrong sense of the word."
[9.0] "Simply exceptional. I wouldn't want to give it a 10 so as not to make believe that it was the best fight in history, but it was a job so well done by both participants and that should not be denied. Just... Watch her. P.S The Jake Paul thing was meh"
[9.0] "Logan Paul is one hell of a talent, I can't believe this is just his 3rd match in WWE. This was such an exciting match and the crowd helped a lot. Maybe there was overbooking and Roman shouldn't have needed all that help to beat him, but it's not like he's been winning clean lately. The only reason I won't give it a 10 is because the whole rivalry was irregular, sometimes good, sometimes stale."
[7.0] "I feel like this is being massively overrated just because people are shocked that Logan Paul had a good match. I liked him vs Miz more than this honestly. The overbooking doesn't help matters either. Still, beyond expectations. That Buckshot was clean. ***1/2"
[8.0] "Most I've been invested into a match in a few months. That was good stuff, Roman didn't do a ton of moves but really let Logan shine and the character work of both was top notch. The overbooking was welcomed for me in this match, maybe because it's not believable for Logan to win without some kind of interference or cheat, and kept you on your toes for the last 10 minutes with everyone on both sides making an appearance. But man, it is pretty incredible how good Logan is for the little amount of experience he has."
[9.0] "Man, I had so much fun. Logan Paul trained very well and is a humble person. Very good performance by Logan. I love that I pointed out that Jake is a star. They protected him and it was right not to let him touch. Very happy with this main event."
[8.0] "Logan Paul just understands pro wrestling and does very well, insane to think this was only his third match and the frog splash to the floor whilst holding a phone was crazy. Obviously he never really had a chance to win the belts but a great match nonetheless."
[10.0] "A near five star match. Logan Paul is such a great pro-wrestler and it baffles me. The build to this match was superb, and the narrative of one lucky shot was greatly told throughout."
[6.0] "Way too much offense for Logan Paul in this match and totally overbooked finish. Roman looked like he just "escaped" with the title, while they portrayed Logan stronger than Riddle, Cena, Edge etc. that have challenged before him."
[9.0] "my expectations were low but Logan Paul was spectacular in this fight, he showed that he belongs to Pro-Wrestling and even with the exaggerated overbooking, it doesn't diminish how amazing the match was (****¾)"
[8.0] "Great match, it started of slow but man did it pick off fast. The action for the most part was fast paced and Logan was spectacular in the move and charisma department, everything he did looked good. The crowd was on fire too which really helped the big fight feel of this match and as just the overall energy. I would have rated the match a 9 if it wasn't for those god awful interferences, those interferences were the only absolutely terrible part of the match and it got drawn on way too long."
[9.0] "Good ol' overbooking, but I didn't mind this so much as Logan Paul was so good for only his third professional wrestling match. His Buckshot Lariat was so smooth. Big elevation of Solo Sikoa as the game changer for the Bloodline, as the Pauls going after him turned the match back to Roman Reigns. Like I said at SummerSlam, keep Paul as a special attraction, it will wear thin if he's wrestling on TV weekly."
[9.0] "I hate that Logan Paul is this good at wrestling but he is really good at wrestling, Roman is the king of kicking out at 2.9999999, the finish may have been overbooked but still a really great match and maybe MOTN"
