[8.0] "The surprise being the Carnage Crew felt underwhelming but outside that this was really good. Teddy Hart's career performance for everything I've seen and Jack Evans being who he's always been. Tremendous babyface in peril who loves showing off his CTE brain with the wacko dives, including a moonsault to the floor bounding off of B-Boy in a fireman's carry. B-Boy and Homicide came off like total assholes, and Evans/Hart have bodies that bend in ways that just shouldn't be possible. There are several spots in the match that come across as GIF-able but they never feel forced or planned beforehand. There was one stupid spot that was timed so perfectly that it no longer looked anything like a stupid spot. Hart was setting up a shooting star press on B-Boy and as he starts it Homicide rushes in out of camera right and hits a perfect cutter. Those complicated precision timing spots usually just don't work. You see a guy frozen and waiting to hit his mark, because the window is so small. This was the most natural the spot could look, and really should have finished the match."

[8.0] "Holy shit. This was total mayhem. Previously, Teddy had been punked out by Homicide twice in singles matches, not even coming close. Last time he was stabbed with a fork and left bloody and broken. The Strong Style Thugs even stole his and Jack's sneakers. Ted isn't giving up though and this time he is joined by his best friend in tag team action. The sheer intensity before the bell even rings is wild. SST gets the jump on their rivals and the match is on. The first couple minutes here are at breakneck speed. Teddy gets destroyed by Homicide, eating shit over and over again. He is made a non factor almost right away. This allows SST to work on poor Jack Evans who does a great job of making big moves look devastating. I need to mention here that the crowd are actively booing the home team and chanting "let's go Teddy" which is truly bizarre. It was almost as if a double turn was finalised during this match, as the crowd desperately wanted to see the underdogs win. After breaking up a multitude of pins, Teddy finally gets tagged back in after Evans hits a 450 on Homicide. Hart picks up B-Boy in a Burning Hammer position and Jack jumps from the top and propels off B-Boy with a double stomp, hitting a moonsault plancha to Homicide on the outside. WOW! If that wasn't good enough, we get a shooting star Demolition Decapitation. While I'm naming spots, I can safely say that this match featured the best and most realistic looking shooting star into an RKO counter that I have ever seen. There are so many jaw dropping moments in this 15 minutes I simply can't go move-for-move and ruin it. The ending is my only gripe here, it was a damn shame to get a lights out spot and especially since the reveal was underwhelming. Apparently Teddy used his cats/weed money to buy off Carnage Crew, who recently threw him out of the ROH locker room after the scramble cage incident (clearly they are playing off that stuff). So Carnage crew attack SST and that allows Teddy to hit the Open Hart Surgery (such a sick move) and get the win. Yeah, it sucked the match ended like that but I'm interested to see how this feud progresses. Overall this is a near-classic. Rapid pace, tons of spots that will have your jaw on the floor, high levels of intensity and a believable sense of heat. A wild 15 minutes that I recommend to everybody. (4*)"
