Kazunari Murakami & Manabu Hara vs. Minoru Fujita & Shinjiro Otani

[5.0] "Of course with the people involved this quickly turns ugly as Otani and Mura start beating on each other with stiff strikes and the usual spots. We also get some good action out of Manabu Hara, who is essentially cut from the same cloth as a Ishikawa-student, so sharp strikes and some cool moves are inevitable. The only iffy guy here is Fujita: I don't not like him but he turns this into more of a traditional puro-contest with forearm exchanges and pulling off some very goofy UWF-tier shit like pulling for a single leg Boston Crab. He also goes for headbutts because I guess? It gets better when Otani gets in for some slap exchanges, ending in him getting beaten down by the other duo. Mura lays it in until Otani bites his hand to escape and tag out. Fujita tries to get Mura in a Tombstone but the lad struggles IMMENSELY with the task and opts for a safer version instead. Mura and Otani go back and forth more with boots and a STO from Mura to get him off his back. Hara gets in to hurl out more sharp slaps and knees, with Otani shaking it off and asking for more before going for a single big slap and kick to equalise. The finish is all focused around the young lads as they go back and forth, with Fujita throwing out some very goofy submissions and the two doing strike exchanges. It's a bit flat as it just ends with a arm-hung brainbuster by Fujita for the win. This was fine enough for what it was, but didn't really get interesting at any discernable point. Everyone got their stuff in and Mura/Otani are always gonna be entertaining, this just felt like the touring version of their dynamic with some young guys in the ring to do the workrate stuff."
