[8.0] "This was a great match. Shingo Takagi is just a beast, no matter what kind of opponent he faces, he just beats down. Low Ki had to play the roll of underdog in this match, which is something I don't usually see often with him, but he did a great job selling the beating from Shingo. That Pumping Bomber that he hit while Low Ki was doing a springboard looked great, and after another Pumping Bomber, he finished Low Ki off with Last of the Dragon. ****"
[8.0] "This was good, even to be so surprisingly one sided. Some times one wrestler just beats the hell out of his/her/their opponent while still having a good match and this was that. Ki fought back hard but Takagi was always too big and too strong."
[7.0] "Mostly carried by the novelty and how good Shingo's offense looks against smaller opponents. Low Ki is mostly selling and working from underneath here and he's not quite the best underdog in the business especially in 2022. The pacing was actually really good though, Shingo was on point and over throughout. There's a really weird spot where either Low Ki hits a DDT and Shingo forgot to sell it for a moment or commentary called something a DDT from Low Ki that was actually one of Shingo's moves on Ki. The Pumping Bomber to catch the springboard to set up another was fucking KILLER and probably should've been the finish. This is definitely a match that would've gone way harder 10 years ago but Shingo's at the top of his game so it was still very good. ***1/2"
[8.0] "This was really good as this is not the Low-Ki of 2001-2005, and there were even times where I was thinking that Low-Ki might need to pull an old school move by rolling out of the ring, run away and live to fight another day, but that is not the style of a warrior, LOL. Shingo was his usual badass self. Rating for this match: ***3/4"
[8.0] "Wasn't a big fan of the first half but the second one was thankfully much better and the match ended up very good because of it. Always great to see Shingo in the US. ***3/4"
[9.0] "Awesome physical fight between Shingo Takagi and Low Ki here which felt more like a settling of scores than a pure wrestling match but after all that's why we watch wrestling, to sell real emotions and immerse us in the drama as if it was real and as if the guys were beating the shit out of each other for real. Which this match really was, but it was one-sided as we just saw Shingo Takagi destroy Low Ki for almost twenty minutes with such physicality and aggression that I'd go so far as to say I've rarely seen anything more satisfying than that in a wrestling ring. Shingo's matches are rare in the US and even more outside of the NJPW banner so I was really excited to see a fresh matchup like this and I was not disappointed. Shingo is exceptional and put on three top matches this weekend, while Low Ki as dumb as he is humanly is so good at taking this kind of beating and selling for someone like Shingo."
