| 01.12.2022 | LariatNation | 8.0 | I loved this match. I was lucky enough to see it in person and it really was a fantastic example of storytelling through the medium of Strong Style. It was fiercely physical, with Minoru Suzuki holding the crowd in the palms of his hands. Hands that would go on to blister the chest of Clark Connors at every turn. I thought the brawling alone was worth a rating of 7 out of 10, but the minor details of the story pushed it up even further for me. Having Ken Shamrock there to relive his MMA rivalry with Suzuki was a great twist, especially as Connors seemed to know his way around the mat whenever Suzuki tried to go there. Clearly, Connors had done his homework and utilized Shamrock as a resource to know what to expect against The King. That pushed it from damn good to great for me, and ultimately landed a strong 4 stars, 8 out of 10. |

| 30.10.2022 | TheLegitBoss | 8.0 | Very good match between Suzuki and Connors here which was everything I expected, a stiff affair with lots of intensity, fighting spirit and two guys who don't hold back to beat the crap out of each other without respect. Finally a really recommendable match in this show and not the least since it was one of the most anticipated on the card, I really liked what I saw between the two. Connors is improving tremendously and is so talented, I'm sure we'll see this match again one day in Japan with Connors beating Suzuki in the manner of Narita who beat Ishii earlier this week in a star-making performance. For a first match here it was really cool to watch from start to finish, Connors took a beating and didn't hesitate to get completely destroyed so it was so much fun to watch. |

| 30.10.2022 | mtdmali | 6.0 | The best part was when Connors delivered a weak chop to Suzuki, only for a single fan to start chanting "You fucked up! You fucked up! " |
| 30.10.2022 | Codebreaker | 7.0 | Gutes Match. Connors ist ein weitere von New Japans jungen Wrestler die hoffentlich bald ihre Chancen bekommen. ***1/2 |
| 30.10.2022 | No One | 8.0 | Clark Connors is impressive. I see him as a future NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion and maybe even a future NJPW World Television Champion. I see his talent, but there is also something extra about him that clicks inside that ring. That is what Karl Fredericks was lacking, the charisma to make people feel anything from him while he was in the ring. Minoru Suzuki is one of my favorite formulaic wrestlers of all time, (up there with Ric Flair), and I am happy that he will never change. Rating for this match: **** |
| 29.10.2022 | jameswarrington19901 | 9.0 | I actually really enjoyed this match if I am honest, it definitely is your typical Suzuki match but dialled up higher than usual, Clark continues to impress and was very nice for Shamrock and Suzuki to have an interaction |
| 29.10.2022 | Childofthelost | 10.0 | AWESOME match. You can tell Minoru Suzuki sees something in Clark, because he was putting a LOT of stank on his shots for Clark to prove himself, and Suzuki bumped more than usual. And I think it was worth it, Clark definitely proved himself. This was an absolute war and I want a sequel ASAP. Suzuki's "FUCK YOU! " into a massive strike was so good. |
| 29.10.2022 | Rocky7 | 8.0 | A great demonstration of the Pancrase style, driven home by Ken Shamrock being in Clark Connors' corner for the match. Connors did well following his return from injury, but Minoru Suzuki is still the master of the style, and his reunion with Shamrock was so cool to see. |
| 29.10.2022 | BUIOOMEGA | 6.0 | The return of Clark Connors, with noneother than Ken Shamrock in his corner. Anyway, this match is too much more of the same of the american bout of Minoru Suzuki so I give it a satisfactory rating just because these type of matches will always be at least sufficient but c'mon... |
