Doc Gallows vs. Shelton Benjamin

[4.0] "The G1 Climax is famous for showcasing a wide variety of pro wrestling styles and its 24th iteration even featured a match that resembled a WWE Superstars bout circa 2011. The match itself was pretty average and forgettable, with the only highlights being brief glimpses of Shelton's offense amid an endless barrage of dirty tactics and rest holds from Gallows."

[4.0] "This isn't much, but what's here works pretty well with the crowd and the work is generally good. Gallows' punches are awesome, there are a few bursts of offense from Shelton that get over although he could have done much more. The finish kinda comes out of nowhere but I didn't have much of an issue with this, it's fine."

[4.0] "In a way it was better than I expected. Gallows's domination was rather uninteresting as always, but I kinda dig his punches. Benjamin showing a little bit of his jumping abilities to kick this giant baldie was also decent, yet I would like for him to get more time to show himself. **1/4"

[5.0] "2.5 stars ~ its real boring but about what you'd expect from Gallows and an aging Benjamin. Gallows squashes for 7 of 8 minutes then Shelton wins"

[5.0] "The 2014 G1 Climax had at the time the most entrants ever in a G1 Tournament. This expanded field allowed Doc Gallows to enter the G1 Climax, so maybe it wasn't a good call. These two had both left WWE and went to NJPW and at least today they are both back in WWE. Shelton Benjamin's offense looks great in this match, Doc Gallows basically sucks. Actually really like the finish so I won't go to low on this. 2.75 stars"
