They really messed up some stuff here and it came off worse than coming off as cool. Kind of repetitive at times too. Shelton is kinda nuts in this though."

It quickly became another mindless spotfest with all guys clearly cooperating and a couple of botches here and there. At one point Matt set up the second ladder, Lawler asked Ross why did he do that and JR had no idea how to respond, which perfectly sums up this chaos."

[7.0] "What impressed me the most about this match is, if you really watch it, there's a TON of 'botches' throughout it. However, these guys are all so skilled and used to this environment, that none of the missed spots actually feel like botches. Whenever they miss something, they're able to call an audible and make it work seamlessly. It happens four or five times during this match, and each time, they believably salvage the sequence. That's not something everyone is able to do. This is an extremely good ladder match, with some impressive bumps and shows of athleticism. Despite the Hardy's being the ladder specialists, it's really Shelton Benjamin that steals the show, as always seems to be the case when he's in a ladder match. However, for my personal taste, this one is too heavy on spots and not enough psychology is used for me to call it exceptional or a masterpiece. They do what they set out to do by entertaining the audience and giving them what they wanted to see, but the match doesn't overdeliver either. Still a fantastic match."

[6.0] "I hadn't heard of this match and I was excited to watch it, but it doesn't hold a candle to some of the Hardys' ladder matches with Edge & Christian and The Dudleyz. There's a lot of miscommunication and spots get blown. Shelton is the real MVP here. He goes all out and even he when botches a leap to the ladder, he flawlessly improvises mid-air and stops another spot from being ruined. This is fun overall, just not go in expecting a Wrestlemania X7 level classic."

[8.0] "The WGTT are my jam whenever I watch 2003/04. Not really sure what the build to this match was but glad they are here to shine. The Hardy Boyz are the innovators of tag team ladder matches in this mold and they totally live upto that here, sandwiching Haas in the corner before doing the splash in the corner. They do a great job of establishing who is the face and heels with their ladder offence. The Hardys do the more innovative and clever spots with the ladders that wow the crowd and WGTT use the ladders to maim the Hardyz. It? s a like touch I thought. Benjamin is totally willing to take mad bumps still and takes a back body drop on the ladder that is positioned between the ring and the guardrail, breaking it too but it only the one side of the ladder. There was a crazy spot where the WGTT hits the world? s greatest tag move off a ladder (meaning Benjamin jumps from a ladder instead of a leapfrog. I was like DAMN! He recovers, thankfully, only to get set through the first ladder again for the finish. Poor guy. I popped big for it. Great match. Really underrated. ****"

[8.0] "A great Ladder match, Shelton Benjamin proves once again to be spectacular with the ladders, also it's the typical match of the Hardys. Enjoyable for most of the time, this is good tag team action, full of spots but it lacks a bit of psychology. The Hardys reign with the titles in 2007 always has quality matches. ****"

[10.0] "As ladder matches goes, this might be the best one. It combined the violence of TLC (Shelton tumbling unto the edge of a bridged-ladder) with the atlhleticism of the original wrestlemania ladder match (Shelton almost falling from the top rope, only to roll over, knock the ladder with his feets and cockily smile, whether intentional or not, is a brilliant moment of athleticism). Two teams recognised for their athleticism and speed went out of their way to steal the show and create a contest that has an unique place amongst ladder matches."
