One is almost tempted to say that Dragunov makes his opponent look almost too good for these little antics. I can only just round it up to five points, but in terms of content, it's not really worth that much to me."

Such an exhibition match where the close style mixed with the universal was demonstrated perfectly. It's a pity that the match itself ended history badly, but it could have been completely different."

The ending was a bit odd, I'm still not really sold on Apollo Crews' gimmick, but the match was good still. I imagine they would do better work with more time, maybe a future NXT Championship match."

[5.0] "Dragunov feels like just a guy in NXT and going 50/50 with Grayson Waller (who just had his eyes gouged out last week) doesn't help. Dragunov spent a year as NXT UK champion and looked like a credible threat then. I hated the distraction finish with the spin-the-wheel gimmick spun by Apollo Crews' telekinesis powers."

[4.0] "Dragunov shouldn't be selling as much as he did for geeks like Waller, or Quinn a couple of weeks ago, it's not even as though Waller was using dirty tactics as, other than an eye poke, he wrestled a clean match. The action wasn't very interesting as rest holds were plentiful and they never got out of 1st gear. In the end, Waller was he up to hit his finisher but was distracted by the spinning wheel which allowed Dragunov to capitalise and pick up an unconvincing win. While last week's video package and his interactions with Devlin and Breakker have been good, Dragunov's matches have not been a good showcase and have made him look like a weak challenger for the NXT Title, if they wanted to protect Waller for his upcoming match with Crews, don't book this match. If they hadn't beaten Duke Hudson into the ground, he'd have been the perfect guy to book against Dragunov, they could beat the shit out of each other for 10 minutes with Dragunov going over clean as a whistle."

[6.0] "Standard match to continue to build Ilja Dragunov up for the US audience. Grayson Waller gave him a good challenge, but didn't have a prayer of winning given he's in his own feud with Apollo Crews, and Dragunov's storyline takes priority."
