[7.0] "Fale was coming into this match having just won the Intercontinental Championship from Shinsuke Nakamura and Ishii had just lost the NEVER title to Yujiro Takahashi. Ishii got a huge reaction from getting Fale up for the suplex. Fale was more mobile at this point and the match ends up being way better than the standard Fale match we see today. The Bad Luck Fall was so sick. 3.5 stars, really good opener."

[7.0] "Great opener! This had a fun dynamic where Ishii is strong and tough enough to throw Fale around but still played the role of underdog to perfection, drawing big reactions for his near falls and power spots on Fale. ***1/2"

[7.0] "A good match here between these two. Fale has really improved - he's not exactly the most fluid guy in the rings, but he's managed to get himself to the point of being a solid hoss. Ishii Is just all around amazing; I hope that he gets a big push in the future. I really loved his selling post match - that did a lot to legitimize Fale."
