Ronda had already got a good reign with the raw womens title, also wish she didnt come back really. I dont get why this match is so low."

[4.0] "This is one match that's certainly worse on rewatch than I remember live in the arena. I couldn't tell how bad all the weapon shots were live. These two just didn't really have chemistry. There were a lot of botches and sloppy spots. They tried, and it's not a complete trainwreck, but you never want to feel embarrassed for the wrestlers in a match, and that's sort of the feeling I got."
[5.0] "Liv's reign was incredibly badly done with her beating Ronda unconvincingly twice, having a solid match with Shayna before losing it here in a really boring Extreme Rules match. Part of me liked the finish and her not tapping out but the weird gimmick kind of hurt it with her smiling and all."

Sure, absolutely no one wanted Ronda to win the title, and it was absolute foregone conclusion that she would, but they put on a generally okay match. Liv sold like a champ and took her shots believably."

But it really looks like the goal of this match is to show that your babyface, who was one of the most over of the division when she took the title, is not able to hang with Rousey except by taking cheap shot by surprise ... Her previous two encounters with Rousey and Baszler were actually quite believable as Morgan was made the underdog there, but here they're evenly matched which is bollocks. The best part of this match was the Diving Senton through the table to Rousey, but that was about it. Morgan smiling in the submission was interesting, but that and the one pretty good spot can't hold a match together alone. While there was some cool concepts and ideas in this match, it just never fully came together for me."
[5.0] "There were many botches in this match. Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan can both hold their own in a match but this was just bad. If the spots in this match were landed it wouldn't have been that bad but a lot of them missed. There was still some decent parts about this, such as the fire extinguisher spot and the table spot at the end but it was an overall mess."
[4.0] "At least, they can transmit some emotions and sell for each other, but that was so clumsy, damn. The hatred between 'em elevated the shit while Morgan carried it with her selling. We're at a point where Rousey has to be carried. Anyway."

The action was pretty cool with some spots expressing the extreme nature clearly while some didn't find its place of the tagline. Both found decent chemistry through previous bouts and leveled it up here, thanks to the weaponry offering its solid share of increasing the intense surrounding. Apart from those moments, there wasn't anything special to note except the possible tease of a change of winds for Morgan. Rousey is the flagbearer again and I hope it's not planned for a long term while Morgan could find herself different in the new shade. 2.75 out of 5 stars!"
[6.0] "Of course, in some places the match was very ridiculous, the moment with the chair that fell and the moments when the girls were just waiting for them to fly from each other, it certainly looked weak, to put it mildly. But at the same time it is not boring and extreme was present. It was time for Ronda Rousey to return her toy for a long time and she coped with it. Liv Morgan, no matter how hard she tried, but luck has a temporary effect. Perhaps instead of a baseball bat, it was worth using a kendo stick."

I respect both competitors not wanting to cause any real pain on one another, but the weak weapon shots certain did not help things. The crowd struggled to get into this one and as a result, it made the experience as a viewer less enjoyable as well."
[4.0] "The start of the match was enjoyable, the story they had was fun with Liv trying to awaken her killer instinct and Ronda just being a level ahead of Liv in terms of power and technic. Yet, when it actually came to the spots, they were done very weak. Both women were afraid to do good shots on one another, barelly making any impact."
[5.0] "Some cool looking spots and enjoyable moments. There were certainly some brutal examples of why this matchup was intriguing, but I feel like it never truly clicked. Some of these reviews are beyond harsh, but to each their own. I think this was less than great, but still adequate. 5 out of 10."

[0.0] "If any match deserves a zero, it's this one. Pointless stipulation given that neither lady knows how to use weapons believably. Some of the spots were laughable, as in literally laugh out loud funny. That's not what you want from a hardcore match. Neither of these ladies can wrestle. I know Rousey can fight, but that has not translated to a pro wrestling ring. Liv is supposed to be the plucky underdog but I'm not seeing any charisma from her. And of course Rousey is a charisma vacuum. This match is a complete waste of time. Strongly recommend you skip it."

It should be immortalized so future generations can gaze upon it to feel better about their own individual job performances. DUD"

Unfortunately, the only extreme aspect of this match was how disappointing the action was. Between the jarringly soft weapon hits and clunky counters, this was undoubtedly my least favorite bout of the night."
[7.0] "This was really good actually. Ronda felt very dangerous, but Liv always found ways to get out of it, until Ronda caught her and just left her no way out."

[5.0] "This really could have been worse. Liv and Ronda have been exceeding expectations as of late but this match finally exposed a lot of their weaknesses. While I wouldn't re-watch this unless you paid me, it's obvious that effort was put in to this match, especially from Ronda who seems like she's just riding her contract out as of late. Maybe cause she went over in this match. There are a few cool spots where she switches up different submissions on Liv, which is the kind of thing I guess she should be doing, but seeing *Ronda* do submissions to *Liv* and the match not be immediately over, several times, is a little hard to believe. The bat stuff is a good idea for a match story, and they both really looked like they were trying to make it work, but these are the two performers on the card least qualified to get something like that over. Especially after just watching walter and sheamus actually beat the shit out of each other for 20 mins. It seems like this program might continue, but fans might be burnt out on these two. Not a bad match, but skippable or not worth rewatching."
[8.0] "Good match, plenty of nice weapons spots (and good enough adaptation after the chair dropped of the post) and a clear and effective dynamic between Liv and Ronda. Liv definitely gained an edge with this match and her post-match reactions (the smiling while getting unconscious was ok but done better with Nikki on NxT), too bad she didn't win but sometimes the underdog actually have to be dominated."
[8.0] "I honestly enjoyed this match. Maybe it is because it is the first non-AEW women's match I've watched in years, but I really thought it was pretty entertaining, Ronda's offense looked brutal, and Liv did her part well too."
[5.0] "Wasn't that bad honestly, the first half was actually pretty solid and was fun but after that chair botch, things went downhill really fast. The chair shots looked unimpressive and the offense became sloppy after that botch almost as if both of them were flustered."

Soft bat and chair hits; a table spot that looked worse than the SmackDown one; and a missing chair spot. Clunky and embarrasingly bad at times. Don't know much about Liv's character but her smiling after losing her belt is beyond dumb."
[7.0] "A pretty solid match. It started off as a match filled with a lot of suspense. But the final phase couldn't keep up and overall it was very sloppy."

Excited to see what changes to her character this loss will bring about. Rating takes a dip because of the chair falling out of place and them still going with the intended spot when i personally think it would have been better to just improvise something else."

This was slow, unenjoyable, too many botches but fair play to Liv Morgan on attempting to have a good match with someone who just was green the whole time. I knew Ronda Rousey was going to win because her losing twice is most definitely heard of but losing three times in a row is not. Bland, botchy and boring."
