[5.0] "From the little we do get to see, this is a standard, painfully average tag match. It might be better, might be worse, but we wouldn't know since 75% of the runtime is dedicated to the interactions between Precious and Kevin Sullivan on the outside of the ring. The match itself is merely a pretext for the angle and I get the feeling the wrestlers knew that and didn't bother trying too hard. Not actively bad but way too long for what is essentially an angle with a match happening in the background"
[5.0] "It's not a bad match wrestling-wise, but the production is absolutely horrendous as I could swear that Sullivan and Precious took at least half the screen time here, so you couldn't even focus on the action in the ring, which was also the case for the finish, as it was barely caught by the camera."
[0.0] "The Garvins wrestling, an awful, awful ending, a stupid as shit cage gimmick, and, worst of Steve Williams on commentary! I hate giving Mike Rotunda matches a low grade (he's from the same city as I am) but he and Rick Steiner are given nothing to work with."
[2.0] "Oh lord this is tragic. Boring action full of cold tags and the cage gimmick is pathetic as it was obvious what was going to happen, yet we had to endure 13 minutes of the Garvins wrestling to get there."
[1.0] "There where some good spots of tag action when the show was allowed to focus on the action in the ring, but I just did not care for the Kevin Sullivan and Precious element in this match. I felt like it took way to much screen time away from the wrestlers themselves. Also I love Steve Williams in a lot of his matches in Japan, but the commentary here did not add anything, when I feels like it should since they chose to include him. (0.5/5)"
[5.0] "Underrated match in my opinion, though the problems are not hard to figure out, namely that they are cutting to Sullivan or Precious every 5 seconds it seems like. Still, the match is not bad, they had a much better one on TV before this but still you can't go so wrong with Ron Garvin hitting those extremely sweet punches."
[0.0] "I loved almost everything about Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin's career excepting the Wahoo McDaniel go-nowhere feud and this, the whole "Kevin Sullivan has a crush on Precious" thing. On color commentary is Steve Williams and that is a terrible idea. There is practically no chemistry in the ring and the focus is on the angle, an angle I never liked. As things progress, a pace is never truly established, no one is meshing and overall it's a mess & just not working. Kevin Sullivan is a terrible actor and Precious isn't much better but at least she doesn't insist upon herself. I am not enjoying any of this and just want it to be over already. When it ends, there is NO satisfaction and it's practically impossible to buy into ANY of the angle. A thirteen minute match that feels like 36 hours. There are worse offenders over the years but this match sucked ass and I will never watch it again. Zero point two five."
[3.0] "The match was entirely secondary to the action on the outside where Precious was being drawn towards the caged Kevin Sullivan. Considering the last time I saw them in the same ring Precious attacked him with a coathanger, it felt like a weird switch in storyline. The in-ring is dull. No one cares. Shout out to Ronnie Garvin for trying."
[4.0] "This felt like it was a lot more about the ringside story with Precious and Sullivan than the match itself. The wrestling was all fine, it just didn't feel like the focal point, and since all the emphasis was placed on Precious and Sullivan from early in the match it really just felt like the entire match was almost superfluous while waiting for the angle to take place (which was telegraphed so heavily in advance that I'm not sure why it had to take so long). Watchable, but could have been a lot better."
[4.0] "This was fine. It would be better if the wrestlers were just left to cook and less focus was put on Sullivan and Precious. I get they had an angle going, but they play into it too much here I think."
[4.0] "This really should have been better. All four guys are good to great, but they're not given a chance to demonstrate it. Instead, the commentators spent all their time focused on the Precious and Sullivan stuff."
[4.0] "I like all four guys to a certain extent. Rotundo isn't my favorite, but I always felt he was at his best with the Varsity Club rather than as IRS. Ron Garvin was awesome, as was Rick Steiner. Jimmy Garvin was just present for me in the '80s. I didn't dislike him and I didn't hate him. The match is one that exists."
[4.0] "There was a LOT of nonsense involving Precious and Sullivan in a cage which the commentary team spent most of their time focussed on. Ended up with Precious helping him escape ring. Match was not up to much either way"
