AZM vs. Fukigen Death vs. Hazuki

[7.0] "pretty good match, Hazuki was on fire here and looked great, really stole the show. AZM was decent but unspectacular and Fukigen was pretty good."

[9.0] "This is probably the best sub-8 minute match of all time. There were so many creative spots jam-packed into this that it didn't feel like a short match. In terms of individual performance, this might have been the best I have seen from Hazuki since her return, and it was certainly Yoneyama's best work in Stardom. AZM was the best of the three though, as she is a better high-speed wrestler than anyone (except for maybe Mei Suruga). ****1/4"

[8.0] "2022 - Wow, I can't believe this is only 8 minutes. So much happens here, lightning quick offense, great near falls and of course Kaori Yoneyama showing she can still go. Loved it ****"

[8.0] "Sweet Jesus, a lot has happened in just seven minutes. A true high speed match, with a lot of spots and crazy ass moments and near falls, truly awesome stuff right here. Even though this is not even ten minutes long, it has its own story being told all along, and everyone has their time to shine and make the crowd roar, ESPECIALLY Fukigen Death. Chaotic multi-man matches will always be great, no matter what. ****"

[8.0] "The main problem of this match is that it appeared out of nowhere. Fukigen's entry into the match was never explained, but it looked really good. And I'd like to give it 8 because of the emotional moment from Hazuki and AZM after match."

[9.0] "INCREDIBLE. I mean... INCREDIBLE. This match was vital for these three, particularly AZM and Hazuki. When you think of High Speed, you need to think of AZM. This match took place years ago and Fukigen beat AZM to take the title from Hazuki, now AZM pins Fukigen to keep the title. They all had moments to shine, and the crowd was absurdly hyped for this entire match. The post-match between AZM and Hazuki was equally as important. Welcome home indeed, Hazuki, and congratulations AZM for another fantastic title match. ****1/4"

[7.0] "A very good High Speed Title match. It turned into somewhat of a 1v1, but Fukigen Death was also entertaining. 7/10 breads"

[9.0] "This is an important match for all three, as it was these two that Hazuki fought for the High Speed Championship before her retirement. Azumi made them her contenders to make the moment important for Hazuki, not just for herself. And it was amazing short match. And another great title defense for Azumi. Fast-paced action, creative moves, tag team interactions between Azumi and Hazuki, and all three women had awesome chemistry. Post-match moment with two legends of high speed division, Azumi and Hazuki, was extremely heart-warming. Azumi's title reign with High Speed Championship is the second best reign in Stardom now after Kamitani's White Belt."

[8.0] "A little chaotic, but a good match with great interactions, and even Death pleased with some moves that I hadn't used for a long time, and the reaction of the audience coincided with my surprise. The last minutes were very tense and I was ready to believe in the victory of any wrestler. Among other things, there is a lot of symbolism in this match, and although I am glad that another amazing reign of Azumi continues, I am bitter for Hazuki and I sincerely hope that she will win this tournament (****)."

[8.0] "A great, great and super fun match. Fukigen is great for comedy but then you get reminded she's Kaori Yoneyama who's a great wrestler. The stuff between Hazuki and AZM was awesome and I hope we get than 1 on 1 for the title. Fantastic near falls throughout, especially near the end. The post match was so heartwarming, love seeing 2 of my favorites have a touching moment like that. ****"

[9.0] "Simply a ton of fun for 7 minutes. It has everything one would expect in a Stardom High Speed match. A lot of fans sleep on how much Hazuki elevated the High Speed Title and division when she was the champion in late 2018/early 2019. You can see just how much this match meant to AZM who stated how happy she is Hazuki is back. Last minute had some very clever cool pinning combos. Great match and worth your time."

[9.0] "In July 2019, a few months before HZK announced her retirement, she faced AZM and Death Yama-San faced in her final defense of the High Speed title. She lost the title that night and, even though it's been nearly a year since she came back for good, she hadn't bothered to challenge for the title since then. AZM challenged both HZK and Fukigen recently, with HZK now in STARS and Fukigen now being in a new unit with a new name and gimmick, and the match was set to headline this stacked show. That's the backstory. HZK coming out in a kimono was a cool touch, and Fukigen blasting the announcer with the newspaper got a laugh out of me. The match itself was fantastic and so much fun. While I wish it was longer, it makes sense to have a shorter match after Giulia and Saya just had a 15-minute match before it. The beginning was perfect, with Fukigen stealing the show and showing she can still go. AZM always excels in fast-paced sprints and HZK even showed glimpses of her Oedo Tai days with her treachery and ferocity during the match. HZK definitely proved to everyone that she can still go at a rapid pace and challenge for the title any time she wants. They all put on a fantastic performance and there wasn't a single moment where I didn't enjoy the match. From a match quality perspective it's an 8 but from an entertainment perspective it's a 10 and one of the most rewarding matches of the year. The aftermath was really nice too, until Utami came through and used the stage to issue her own challenge for a different title. Overall I'm going to give it a 9 because I enjoyed it that much."
