[7.0] "Very good match, but it still clearly not on the level you would imagine WALTER vs. Irie singles can reach. Brawling skills and intensity were there, but they didn't have neither time or motivation to go all out here. Wish they could meet again, but doubt it will happen. ***3/4"

[7.0] "Pretty basic WALTER match in a lot of ways. If you are at all familiar with his work then you should know what to expect here. This isn't a bad thing as such, because WALTER beating people up is always fun (hence still being good enough to manage 7.0 rating), but there probably isn't anything here that you haven't already seen done better in other WALTER bouts. Irie doesn't really do a whole lot aside from a couple decent moments. I get the impression that they are capable of a much better match with each other but were holding back since this wasn't really the setting for it. The crowd response is fairly mild as well which doesn't really make for a very exciting atmosphere. Enjoyable, but not essential viewing."
