[9.0] "One of my favorite lucha matches ive seen, full of drama, psychology, beautiful move sequences, story, brutal emotion. Crowd was on fire for this as they were the whole show. Great main event one of my new favorites. ****3/4"
[9.0] "While certainly not the best apuesta you will ever see, this one provided plenty of drama, story, and action as you would expect. Stuka Jr. Started aggressively trying to preserve his legacy as well as, his family's in a way. Meanwhile young Atlantis, was suffering and endouring stuka's onslaught in order to prove himself as an up and coming star of CMLL. Atlantis Jr., despite his lack of experience, has at least managed to win over the CMLL fans at the arena, as they were jumping up with every move, every comeback, every tope, he attempted, and whenever he would lose the momentum they stayed behind him, cheering him on back to his way towards vicotry. I must also say that this was Atlantis Jr. best match so far in his young career, but he has definitely shown glimpses of brilliance and he is sure to continue developing into a wreslter that can hold the crowd in the palm of his hands for years to come. I am also quite interested to see what comes of Stuka Jr.'s run in CMLL since as of this writing he has kept the name and has only continued teaming with los infernales without really much development. At least not much that I'm aware of. 9/10 overall excited to see more of both"
[7.0] "I don't watch CMML often, but this was a real cool match. I really felt a lot of the emotion in a battle for the mask even if I don't know everything about the characters involved. Different from the Triple A I've seen, but real good; might have to keep up on it more."
[8.0] "A good Arena Mexico mask vs mask match but not a classic. The crowd adds a lot and their reactions build as the match goes on. Worth watching purely for Altlantis Jr's wild tope suicida"
[10.0] "After a lull of a few years, I'm very happy to say it seems like CMLL is definitely BACK! Glad to see the oldest promotion in the world producing some amazing stuff once again. I came into this with no specific expectation except to be entertained, but it went way beyond what I hoped for. This was an all out, high flying, mask ripping, rough brawling match that combined many of my favorites things about lucha libre. My most memorable moment was Atlantis going for a big tope suicida at top speed, only for Stuka to dodge. I literally clapped my hands over my mouth in shock as Atlantis crashed guts first on the top of the barricade and crumpled down into the front row, one of the nuttiest spots I've seen in a while. This was superb, I gotta give it the full points."
[6.0] "Another mostly mindless but still pretty entertaining CMLL match. Stuka established himself as the clear heel by how overly aggressive he was, even going after Atlantis' mask, which kind of made obvious that Atlantis definitely wasn't going to be losing and unmasking here (as if that wasn't already obvious). Both guys went for lots of fun aerial stunts and took some impressive bumps, though there was definitely about0 psychology and very minimal thought behind how they paced and structured it all, plus they definitely had the usual modern lucha issue of being overly cooperative and thus making some of their interactions look obviously staged. As expected, the match soon became just a series of big moves and near falls one after the other, though their later ones had enough intensity behind them that they ended up being quite impressive despite how pretty mindless and generically structured they were. I still hated how easily everything was pretty quickly no-sold, but they made up for that slightly with the sorts of creative counters they were pulling off on each other. Atlantis' eventual pin should have been more hard-earned and thus more significant once it finally occurred, but instead it just felt very run-of-the-mill and thus pretty underwhelming. Despite my issues with this, it was indeed still quite fun, and I thought the emotion showed by Stuka, his family, Atlantis Jr., and the fans in the post-match was far more memorable than the match itself, leaving quite an emotional mark. ***1/4"
[10.0] "To finish the night it was moment for another mask to fall. What a way to close this wonderful evening of wrestling. Atlantis Jr. entered with his father by his side, and the crowd definitely not, to honor his legacy and start his own, something that CMLL fans don? t like calling them for being too spolied and being gifted their opponents masks. And there was also Stuka Jr., with his son, and the crowd with him from beginning to the end. The match started fast and hard, slowly getting to a more classic pace, but just for a moments, because the finisher-like moves and other highs spots were there from beginning to end. That tope from Atlantis that Stuka avoided was so painful looking, followed by some other spots that looke really great too. Past the ten minutes mark, tha match was at its peak, and it had the most electric crowd I have ever witnessed. The nearfalls were the best executed I? ve ever seen in Mexico, just perfect. The people, even though they already said didn? t belive in Atlantis loosing, bought each and every one of them. After Atlantis kikced out of the first Stuka? s finisher plancha, he went for the second, with the whole arena telling him not to, but he hit and Atlantis reversed it with a 2.9 cover. Then both quickly standing up and Atlantis connecting the first Atlantida that Stuka was able to reverse with a craddle. But then he hits the second one and it was enough, what a final, really really really good. What a way to loose your mask After it finished, the emotional mask removal ceremony took place and it was really nice, the whole arena recognized Stuka and chanted his name, as they were doing all along the match, and booed Atlantis Jr. as he stood with his mask. Really recomended match."
[9.0] "This was brilliant. Beautiful high flying, crisp high-speed pins, and awesome reversals made you wish neither man would have to lose his mask. Wonderful. ****1/2"
[8.0] "A great main event. Both went all out and the crowd were with it all away. I feel like it needed another 5 minutes as the finish came before the match quite peaked and it lacked the dramatic near falls that made the semi main special ***3/4"
