[7.0] "I liked it a lot. It's kind of different to the two other Briscoes vs Joe & Dream Partner matches. Mostly because of having a more simple structure and Jim Cornette as The Briscoes manager. Other matches had more big or convoluted spots, but this was easy to follow. First, Samoa Joe dominates over Jay and Mark until the crowd asks him to tag Jerry Lynn, which he does. Lynn's offense is so beautiful and smooth. They kept control of the match for the first minutes, I liked Lynn's lariat or monkey flip. Then they got to the floor, with Joe hitting his Elbow Suicida. Then goes for the Ole Ole Kick on Jay, but Mark blocks it doing a somersault dive. Then Cornette and Lynn get to the ring, Lynn tries to attack the heel manager, but Mark stops him and now him and his brother work over Lynn with some double moves, such as a leg drop into a sidewalk slam. After a long Face in Peril segment, Joe gets the hot tag and unleashes his offense, with the slaps, the powerbomb into the STF, lariats... Lynn takes out Mark with a hurricanrana to the floor, while Cornette enters the ring and tries to hit Joe with the tenis racket, but he stops it. Then Jay grabs the racket and hits him. He pins Joe, but in the last second he kicks out, but it's too late as the referee grants the victory to The Briscoes. Apparently this was a botch of the referee and that the match was supossed to be longer. It wasn't that evident, so it was fine I guess, but it felt out of nowhere. After the match, Joe and Lynn attack the referee. It was fine, I dind't like it as much as the other matches, but I think the simple structure helpt the pace and gave it some story. The ending with Joe kicking out wasn't neccesary. It was a too convoluted ending for a simple match that doesn't have much sense. Also the postmatch Tantrum isn't in line with the Code of Honor, which Joe always defends, so it was strange."

[7.0] "This was a good match, but it felt a bit pointless considering we've already seen something pretty similar twice now. This was the weakest of Joe's three tag title matches with the Briscoes, and while Lynn had a decent showing, he felt considerably less interesting as a 'dream team' partner for Joe than Styles or Danielson did. I disliked the finish, and did not think it was a credible way to put Joe down at all (even with the bad ref call). I also thought the post-match attack on the referee by the babyfaces was stupid, particularly because of how big of a deal they always make it that attacking the referee is unacceptable in ROH due to the Code of Honor. Even if it was after the bell, it still struck me as being very out of place in ROH."

[7.0] "I wish this was as good as it could have been with these four guys involved, but it really turned into the Jim Cornette show to the detriment of the match. With the ref either botching the finish or Joe being booked to do a nonsensical kickout, a pretty good outing by some great workers was marred by extraneous nonsense."

[9.0] "This was really fantastic. All the Samoa Joe matches against the Briscoes were great, but Jerry Lynn was a fresh name for Ring of Honor at the time and added something to the mix, looking absolutely great. 4 1/4 stars"
