[7.0] "Given both of these guys had already worked tonight, this was inevitably not going to last long. That said, it's a fun outing between the babyface Honma and co and the mean ROWDY duo who gang up on Miyamoto with strikes and throws. Said strikes are fairly light but do the job. The crowd boos when Yokoi hones in on Honma's pre-existing cut from the last match he had, which takes no time at all to open up and start just pouring out with blood again. Honma looks like he's about to cry at points from the beating he's getting as the two just punch his head a million times lol. Turmeric Storm get in some good double team stuff after a hot tag to Miyamoto but eventually end up missing a dropkick, resulting in Honma getting beat down more with strikes. Crowd goes bonkers after he lands huge lariats and go for a big chant. He lands a big diving headbutt for a near fall but ultimately the finish has him eat the loss after the opposing duo knock him around a bit with suplexes and even more strikes; despite a good near fall school boy via Miyamoto hitting a running elbow Yokoi ends things with a stiff roundhouse to the head and German for the titles. Not a conventional match by any means: ROWDY are a bit iffy workrate wise but they know how to hit hard and throw people around, so this was easy pickings in terms of what they had to do here. The real star of the show is Honma, who gets the crowd massively on his side with some good color, but also really sympathetic selling as he just bumps big and has to slowly crawl out of the big hole he's already in. His comeback spots were well-done and explosive: he has a lot more agility than you'd think. Miyamoto is fine but he's very clearly the B-side of the group workrate wise as he's barely doing much and the stuff he is doing is not nearly as impressive. That said, enjoyable match for what it was and a good highlight of early non-deathmatch Honma."
