[10.0] "Finally, a match that felt like a proper 5 Star Grand Prix match - it felt like a big deal, it was wrestled like it was a big deal and it really was the Main Event of this show. It was an all-action tournament sprint where both wrestlers just went all-out. It was booked like a battle not only between two equals but two top stars, so there was a lot of back-and-forth, offense and defense, but also a lot of big moves and near-falls. It's fascinating to see how far ahead Giulia is now compared to Hayashishita and Kamitani, she never came across as a passenger in a match like this and held her own. Because of explosive start and excellent between the moves transitions it felt like a very different match compared to other ones they had, it certainly didn't feel like a condensed/budget version of their 30-minute draw in January 2022. These two had a surprising amount of singles matches against each other already, but I want to see another one at the right place/time, they're just so good together. ****½"
[6.0] "Not as good as their 30-minute time limit draw in January earlier this year which I loved but this was a much tighter and more condensed version. It wasn't all action though as they let the fan breathe for a second after the headbutt spot, but it was mostly action all throughout the rest. My problem was that they kinda telegraphed the draw from a mile away. Anyone who watches or knows even a bit about the modern Japanese wrestling scene in general, they know if you tease a finish earlier into the match, with how Giulia teased the glorious driver, the match is going to be a draw. Also, I did say it was mostly action but nothing that hooked me in. I also don't see the point in having Mayu kick out unless they thought they'd screw the timing up."
[5.0] "It wasn't bad but as usual these big Giulia matches don't do all that much for me, I just don't get the hype. She can sometimes show a certain intensity but she embodies a lot of traits I am not fond of in modern Stardom. At least Mayu is always good."
[9.0] "Damn, it was a war! It was one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament for me and I was happy that it could be watched live. From the very beginning of the match, which resembled the beginning of the 1992 Kawada vs. Misawa match, I realized that this would be exactly what I want to see from them here. A tough and intense match with big moves that felt like it could really end at any moment. The result is the most correct of all. Rating: ****1/2(4.5)"
[8.0] "Would easily have been a 9 if the match had gone longer. Because of Mayu's status in Stardom (and wrestling ability) her and Giulia always tend to have bangers. I had no problem with it being a draw because here that's smart booking."
[9.0] "This was the best Mayu Iwatani has looked since her last match with Giulia in January. While their match earlier this year was full-throttle for 30-minutes, this had more of an ebb and flow, with slow building between the high-impact exchanges and head-drops. Their movements together naturally become more refined with each match, but they also manage to keep things fresh and interesting. ****1/4"
[8.0] "Fucking awesome! Once again, Giulia and Mayu Iwatani deliver another great bout with A LOT of brutal strikes and unpleasant looking bumps. This match has some high levels of insanity and intensity that can make you grit your teeth throughout the whole match. These two have an outstanding chemistry, and everytime they lock up, it's a spectacle. ****1/4"
[7.0] "They started fast with some big moves, and then it slowed down, and the pace never really picked up again, I guess that's my main problem, did a bunch of big moves, Mayu looked pretty good, I still don't buy Giulia and at this pace I never will, that's all thhere is to it, it wasn't as brutal as people are claiming, it was intese and impactful, but I don't think brutal is the right word. 6.5-7"
[9.0] "These two have had natural chemistry ever since they first wrestled in 2020, but this sprint of a match may have been their best singles encounter to date. The backdrop suplexes from Giulia right at the bell, coupled with insane bumping from Mayu, gave this match an intensity that never let up. It's so cool that this was the first bout to reach a time limit draw in the tournament, considering that both wrestlers seemed hell-bent on destroying each other as quickly as possible. ****1/2"
[9.0] "Another amazing match from these 2. 15 minutes of bombs. They didn't start by feeling each other out, they just went straight to suplexing and beating the hell out of one another. I LOVE when Mayu goes insane and looks like she has no control over her body. Their 30 minute draw is better but there isn't THAT much of a difference. 3rd best match of the tournament. ****1/4"
[9.0] "These 2 have now fought each other 2 different times and both times it went to a time limit draw. This tells me if I'm following the story correctly, that when Giulia wins the World of Stardom Title at the end of this year, that Mayu Iwatani is supposed to be one of her title challengers in 2023 (along with Tam, Natuspoi, Utami, & maybe even Suzu Suzuki off the top of my head) as they now really do have a score to settle. I would even expect Giulia/Mayu III to be a No Time Limit Title match as well. That is a 2023 MOTYC waiting to happen. Rating for this match: ****1/4"
[9.0] "A time limit draw earlier this year, and naturally cut it in half and it is still a time limit draw. Both times were incredible, and Giulia has started dropping people on their heads to start matches and ya know what... I approve. Reminds me of the GOAT, Akira Hokuto. ****1/4"
[8.0] "Probably this is the only match of this tournament where 15 minutes time limit does not improve the match. These two showed great intense 30 minutes match in the beginning of the year, and that's why this one lookes secondary. The pace is the same, but they couldn't show as many interesting moments. Like this is a shorter recap. At least, the result is logical. 3.75*"
[7.0] "The first 10 minutes of this was really great. Giulia starting with the backdrop driver and putting Mayu on the defensive for the match was really nice but once the draw happened, it felt undeserved given the opening. Still great though - ***3/4"
[8.0] "The first draw of the tournament and I think it was the right call. These two beat each other down yet again, putting on a violent showcase per usual. Less than 30 seconds into the match, Mayu took a neck bump. That set the stage for yet another violent match between these two. We even got a curbstomp from Giulia which was pretty gnarly, and a super butterfly, as well as another suplex party. And then we got a frankensteiner too! Other than the headbutt I really liked this match. Was it as good as their matches from last year or their epic title eliminator from January? No, but it was still awesome with the right result in my opinion. ****"
