[7.0] "[3.5*] This match need more recognition than it really gets this match proved some stuff, first - the rock is as good as anyone else in the era and his selling here was stealer! Fascinating stuff really loved how the story went with rock's struggles to him trying to figure things out, the big show here was also good not as good as rock obviously but still that was a strong performance by him too, good stuff and definitely a near-perfect tv match imo."

[7.0] "Big Show matches was somewhat a mixed bag at the time, but he does step things up here and Rock is typically excellent in the match and his selling really does put over how tough it is to build any kind of serious momentum. Angle is great on commentary as he looks worried about having to fight Show and Show ends up brawling with him before the fun table spot where Rock just punched him and he goes flying into it. Rock looks exhausted and still isn't really on top of his game and even low blows him and gets a People's Elbow and Show still kicks out. There's a fun ending where the ref takes a bump when Show gets a chokeslam, Angle hits show twice around the head with two brutal chairshots and then misses the The Rock which ended up deciding the match where he gives Show the Rock Bottom on a chair."

[6.0] "Another solid match and quite substantial for TV at around 10 minutes or so. I was a bit wary of this at first as Big Show's performances are so mixed in this period, but he gives a good account of himself here. The best moment for me was when it looked like there was going to be a big table bump, but Big Show instead went through after a simple punch from Rock. I thought that was very amusing."
