[8.0] "The relative low stakes (it's rampage baby, and the trios title as of 2025 is mid at best) are the big thing really holding this match back from being a classic. Orange and Hangman don't seem to cross paths very often, so it's fun to see him caught up in the antics to a degree. Best Friends continue their glue guy role that many say should have netted them the championship they never got. A Beaver Boy got a pin, even if it was a rollup. Great match but seems destined to fall into obscurity."
[8.0] "Very fun match. The comedy sequences at the beginning were hilarious, especially Cassidy riding Hangman and Silver being Page's bebč. The action was good as well, there were some cool exchanges and spots. The closing stretch was great. Happy to see that John Silver got the victory. 8/10 - 4*/5*"
[7.0] "I went 3.75 stars on this one on the GRAPPL app, and it has a 3.39 star rating average there. If pushed to go down to 7 or up to 8, I would go down to 7. This match was not given the proper time or attention that it warranted and deserved. This should have been treated like the Main Event of Rampage, and this was a separate show run that people took Ubers and Lyfts and carpools to get to, and it was given 11 minutes. This contains so many of my favorite performers and it could have been great, but instead it was good."
[8.0] "One of the best matches of the whole tourney & one of the sleeper matches of the year for me. Both teams are charismatic, have their own base of fans and gain equal chances of winning. That's what made this match stand out of the tourney as this special feeling of which homegrown team is worth enough to qualify for the finale. The action was exceptional, the pacing was crisp, and the crowd was electric throughout. Hangman's Dark Order won with a purpose of rekindling the past grudge with different stakes on the line and it's a money-making path of ending this tournament. 4 out of 5 stars!"
[8.0] "Easily the best of the Rampage bracket of this tournament. I liked Dark Order's matching entrance gear and felt they had great chemistry. The Best Friends were also good, with Cassidy getting in some great comedic spots alongside Page."
[7.0] "That was a very entertaining match. Excellent spots from both teams, with everyone doing their greatest moves. I'm a little surprised that Hangman and the Dark Order won, as I feel the Best Friends deserved to be in that spot in the PPV. 7/10"
[8.0] "A good fight where both team showed they can be goofy sometimes, but also go all out when it's needed. Superb tag team work by Silver & Reynolds and Best Friends whereas Cassidy had a taste of Hangman. Great action ponctued with some pretty nice spots. Pace was sweet as well. Pity that Hangman's presence spoiled the thing a bit, but they managed to keep some suspense."
[7.0] "What you would expect. They did a lot of moves and flashy sequences to get to Silver, Reynolds, and Page winning. Fast moving. Seen one of these in AEW, seen them all."
[8.0] "It was immediately necessary to add Adam Page to the tournament, with him on the move and the matches got better and the intrigue appeared. A very good fight where until the last I didn't know who would leave the show for the final. I am very impressed with the dedication of the fighters and you can see how they put all the cards on the table and fully justified their names. Humor, charisma and intrigue mixed with fast and heavy athletic wrestling. It is not inferior to the last semi-final at all. Best Friends, unfortunately, are again in the position of losers :("
[10.0] "My favorite match of the night and honestly maybe my favorite match of the trios tournament, personally. A lot of it just comes down to investment, I? m just much more invested personally in these wrestlers than I am in some of the big names in the tournament. But that? s not to disregard how damn fun this match was. There were funny moments, there were brutal moments, there were gritty hard fought moments and super cool spot moments. I have to applaud everyone involved but especially Cassidy, Page, and Silver, they really killed it here. Another fantastically fun bout."
[6.0] "A perfectly acceptable match, although a bit disjointed. The crowd didn't bite nearly as much for the Hangman and OC interactions as I expected. Silver as always was the standout."
[7.0] "Fun and inoffensive-- the AEW trios way. The action throughout the match was good, never high gear though. The near falls towards the end were super solid, though the result was never in doubt at all."
[8.0] "This started goofy and I was afraid that was going to be the tone for the entire match but thankfully it wasn't and when they started going hard it was awesome and pretty dramatic. Even though the Dark Order were always going to win, there were some good near falls which nearly made me believe they weren't. Final should be phenomenal. ****"
[8.0] "Good chemistry, good comedy, good spots. I thought they could have done more to put over the fact that Hangman was replacing 10, like better explain it on commentary or have 10 in crutches or something."
[8.0] "Impressive this fight, I thought that Best Friends could beat Dark Order, to close this stable, but no, Dark Order is still alive and will go to the final, incredible."
[8.0] "This started off pretty much as a comedy match, and an extremely good one, before becoming more serious as all 6 men showed what they can do. The Trios format works perfectly for both these teams, and they made the most of it."
[10.0] "Excellent match from start to finish, amazing comedy in the early minutes and then amazing wrestling. John Silver with the roll up pinfall was the right way to end this match."
[8.0] "really good fun match, less flips than the trios match at dynamite but the comedy made it even. Ofcourse we knew who're gonna win, and they did. Good finish"
[6.0] "The comedy opening of this match felt out of place in a tournament finals. Dark order is currently presented as goofy midcarders, and now I'm supposed to believe they can go up against the Elite? Feels weird to have one solidified trios group vs one that's shoehorned together. Match picked up in the second half with some good sequences, and I did think for a microsecond that BF might win. Underwhelming compared to what the other side of the bracket has offered tho, and a bland finish."
[8.0] "This should've been the main event, but still this was a great match, the best match in the Rampage bracket, everyone looked great here, and the final minutes were really great and I really thought that BF would take the W"
