[6.0] "A really good tv match. Studio wrestling at it's best with how good everything looks. Surprised Flair and The Andersons gave so much to the babyfaces and they even win by underhanded ways. ***"
[7.0] "Garvin and Flair already work well together and of course you have the Horsemen revving up, but this rather random team of faces in Whatley, Taylor, and Garvin really make you think you can beat a team that includes the NWA champion, National tag champs, and the Television champion on this studio show. One of the better NWA studio matches I've seen to this point."
[7.0] "This was a lot of fun and by far the best match across these first few episodes. Flair has great chemistry with the Anderson's. Pez Whatley is truly underrated. Terry Taylor was probably the weak link of this match. Great main showcase match here for this show. I wasn't expecting such a good six-man tag in '85"
[8.0] "This match was so much fun for a TV main event. Pez Whatley is so much fun to watch and terribly underrated. The Horsemen were on top of the world here and Taylor and Garvin were great, too. Just a fun old school match on free TV."
[10.0] "So NWA WCW has a featured match most weeks, basically a chance for wrestlers to fight each other instead of jobbers on TV as was the style at the time. These matches vary a lot in quality but this one was seriously fantastic! Seeing Flair and the Andersons finally firmly together in the same corner just highlights how incredibly good all of them are, and the NWA has actually given them mostly quality opponents here. Seeing Garvin slam Flair around with his ridiculously great strikes or Pez Whatley blasting the Andersons with explosive dropkicks is a pure pleasure. Taylor didn't do much for me, as expected, but he didn't stink up the match either, just a basic guy as usual. All in all this was red hot stuff and I was loving it, awesome TV match particularly for the era."
