Charles Mason vs. Joey Janela

[5.0] "This match was so dull. Janela is over but he's not great at working a normal pro wrestling match like this as a face. He needs to either work heel or work with gimmicks to shine. The local heel is basically a more tryhard version of every other rich douchebag heel I've ever seen, and commentary was talking about how he has in-kayfabe murdered people and left non-wrestlers he's fought on the street for dead? Such a jarring tonal shift when he's a mostly exaggerated heel and nobody is treating ATTEMPTED MURDER to a non-wrestler as serious. Ken Broadway has a run-in and doesn't affect the match result. There were enough big spots and enough heat for this to not be BAD, but it wasn't GOOD. **1/4+"

[5.0] "In my opinion not a great match. Janela back in US and okay, but this title, this reign, and Charles Mason himself, is not the best thing in the world. According to me it's a skippable match, too bad: a good card, sloppy matches."
