[10.0] "A regular rivalry doesn't start a match with a staredown while a shirt picturing one guy is literally being burnt on a chair in the middle of the ring. This match is probably the best chapter in Wagner vs Park, and a perfect example of how good the 2/3 Falls format is for pro wrestling. The first fall, Park is in Wagner's head and beats his ass all over the arena and doesn't receive enough resistance to stop him from riding that to the first pin. The second fall starts much like the first but with a big swing in momentum as Wagner gets his second wind with a huge comeback starting when the chairs are set up in the corner and he gives Park a double dose of his own medicine leaving him bloodied with his mask ripped open. The third fall begins with a doctor making sure Park isn't losing too much blood before going to an incredible set of back and forth nearfalls that actually feel earned with the bloody beatdowns they've both had; every single move feels impactful enough to take it (even a dragon screw of all things). The nastiness of the brawl spills over into the referee but not in a tired ref bump kind of way, leading to a messy finish that doesn't quite feel flat (mostly because Park kind of set the ref up to be in the way of some moves). The fight just exceeded the rules of the match. Incredible stuff, love Park's brawls and Wagner is an awesome face. BIEN BIEN BIEN *****"

[9.0] "[4.5*] Man, this was just crazy. I think I never felt so terrified in a match before. Of course you have all the gore in a deathmatch, but worse than a gore is LA Park bleeding so much it made me want to call a fucking ambulance, dude. The first fall was all for Parka and his control segment was sick as fuck, flaming chair to start the bout, chairshots to the head and a lot of Powerbombs. Then Wagner Jr got his comeback and he didn't stop at the chairs, he picked up a fucking bottle of beer and stuck it in Parka's face, causing a HUGE amount of bleeding. At the third fall both of them were just exhausted and the doctor had to check in on Parka all the time, which only added to the experience and made me uncomfortable (in a good way). The legendary Black Terry was the referee and he was obviously getting some kind of involvement to end the match, but I think it was cool. I had a laugh at every ref bump he took. Overall this was just a war with weapons, chops, bombs and Black Terry as your referee. It doesn't get much better than that."

[10.0] "One of the most best visuals in pro wrestling history to start the match (LA Park with the flaming chair). LA Park pays for that disrespect and with of the biggest beatdowns I have ever seen him receive his face is nearly completely revealed. He is bandaged up a dr tries to check on him. Wagner takes a big beating with blood stained singlet. This might of the best I have ever seen. Also Black Terry is the ref, that rocks."

[10.0] "Incredible, brutal Lucha brawl. Blood all over the place. Stiff as hell chair shots. Broken glass bottles. A Rabid crowd. The image of Park flipping off Wagner when he makes his entrance as the t-shirt on the chair burns is one of those great wrestling images."

[10.0] "It's a testament to the quality of their work that this was a pure brawl for about 30 minutes and yet they held my interest completely. From the opening seconds with Park burning Wagner's shirt, they're at each other's throats and use whatever they can to tear each other apart. A clean finish is the only thing keeping this from being higher (though we were never going to get that let's be honest) but this is still incredible. (****3/4)"

[9.0] "Park burning Wagner's shirt in front of him was peak Park, IMO. And there is a lot to love. This was a tremendous bloody brawl. Seeing the ring filled with ripped, tattered blood soaked bits of each wrestlers masks was something that you don't get with every match. Everything for 80% of the match was tremendous wrestling. Blood, violence, hate. Everything you? d want from a match. The match kinda lost steam towards the end and it had a funky finish, because you're not getting a clean finish on this show. Hell of a match though. Just something prevents it from being a top tier classic. ****1/2"

[6.0] "Bloody brawl, between two legends of lucha libre. Broken bottles, chair shots, stair shots and ripped masks. It was entertaining but way too long. Not very much wrestling in this as it was mostly a brawl. The part that I didn't like the most was the ending. The ref counted L. A. Park down for the three count, but just disqualified Dr. Wagner Jr. right after giving him the pinfall victory. (Why even count? ) Anyway... ** 3/4 stars out of 5."

[8.0] "If you love attitude era style of matches with a lot of brawling, blood, foreign objects and referee bumps you will love this. Overall, I liked the match, but also thought, that the second and third fall couldn't quite maintain the quality of the first fall (great heat segment). I would have also preferred to see less pandering to the crowd and more action in the ring"
