[8.0] "It is a fun match. Both women shined in this match and showed the great chemistry they have with each other.Great spots, great babyface and great heel back and fourth. Crowd was into this match and helped elevate it even more. Both have great potential."
[6.0] "Really fun match. This is the first match from NXT 2.0 that I have ever watched (I think so). It was not too bad. And I am not so familiar with this type of gimmick match. It was a very basic no DQ match that I have seen thousands of times before. Nothing new or creative here but solid wrestling overall."
[7.0] "On the face of it, this match didn't deserve to be as good as it was. Their feud seemed never-ending and for months they were getting one up on each other through the lens of two silly gimmicks. Moreover NXT made this a literal "lights out" match (as opposed to the smarter route of AEW who book Lights Out as unsanctioned bouts) which jarring. But despite these barriers, both women went out and delivered an extremely solid and satisfying match. They worked smartly using weapons when needed and there was pretty good, aggressive work in between. The Lego spots were actually pretty damn good! I know how talented Wendy Choo is since her days wrestling as Karen Q in ROH, so it's always nice to show people who aren't aware of her wrestling background. Tiffany Stratton is becoming something of a revelation. Someone who was initially written off by many, embarrassingly myself included, as just eye candy. I haven't seen a female PC rookie with this much aptitude for wrestling since Bianca Belair. It also feels like they're subtly pivoting both gimmicks away from the sillier aspects and presenting them more seriously."
[4.0] "Firstly, the lighting gimmick was dumb - ugly and distracting. That aside, I find this challenging to rate as the ladies tried really hard and both clearly have potential (Tiffany in particular seems far beyond her experience level) which has stopped me from going too low in my rating, but the majority of this was far too silly for me. Tiffany selling a pillow full of lego was especially ridiculous. I'd struggle to go much higher on any match that features such a stupid spot. I will say, I did really like Wendy's backwards splash (similar to a Vader Bomb) off the top. That was probably the highlight of a match that was definitely not designed to appeal to my wrestling sensibilities."
[8.0] "One of the more fun matches I? ve seen this year. Wendy is very underrated in the ring since her days in ROH and Tiffany has a lot of potential. They had some creative spots in the match. I wasn? t crazy about the lighting choice but it fit with Wendy of course. I was happy with the result and hope this is a sign of even better things to come for both. On a re-watch, I may rate this even more highly."
[7.0] "A super fun main event embracing the style of 2.0 with the weaponry and bringing solid wrestling showcase as well. Wendy felt serious for the first time putting her gimmick perks on the shelf and working a match against the uber-ego in Tiffany. Both women put their best in a quirky environment entertaining the fans successfully. Wendy winning completes the story on a happy note as both men could find their next targets and possibly succeed as they did here. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"
[8.0] "This is beautiful match with special lights out atmosphere, lego spot is the 2nd best spot of the year after tractor Brock. Tiffany looked like star, Wendy looked cool."
[8.0] "One of the best women's fights that you can see in NXT, very good performance by both, quite a show and the best thing is that it is the Main Event."
[9.0] "It was an absolutely amazing experience between Stratton and Choo here, I may have enjoyed it more than the others inmates but I'm such a fan of this kind of completely original stuff that you don't see anywhere else and that you've never seen before. It was a continuation of their good rivalry and segments, and my god this was some incredible fun shit. Stratton is already an incredible heel, she's for me the best in the women's division of this brand even ahead of Alba, Mandy, Cora and Roxanne quite honestly so that says a lot. I loved her performance and even if she loses the match, it's so well booked that it doesn't affect her momentum. Wendy Choo needed the win anyway, I'm not the biggest fan of her gimmick but in these cases it's all good. A big four stars match for me as it was a unique experience and I had a great time in, front of it, I wasn't feeling well before watching this main event and it put me in a good mood."
[9.0] "This was such a fun main event. It would have been nice to have better lighting but the "mockery" of the lights out stipulation got some chuckles out of me. Had a ton of fun weapon spots, most notably a bed and some lego. Wendy winning this was the right call as she badly needed some sort of win. Both women are great, and I wouldn't mind seeing both get a call up within the next year or two. Really fun main event. [****1/4]"
[7.0] "I enjoyed this match wayyyy more than i expected too. Easily Strattons best match. Wendy Choo is great and the bed gimmick was fun to tie into the whole Sleepy Girl Wendy gimmick, the lego spot looked painful!"
[8.0] "I had a lot of fun watching this match, which is basically the "themed hardcore" type that I love so much, with two of the better in-ring workers in NXT 2.0 today. The result is genuinely engaging television. Only these two could make a Lego thumbtack spot work well on national television. Right result, too, as this was the big feud blowoff and both can move on to bigger things (maybe both end up NXT Women's Champs eventually? )."
"I didn't expect to enjoy this match as much as I did. That lego spot was brutal and the table break looked good. Hopefully this is the now of their feud because it's gone on long enough."
[6.0] "A funny and original match. The broken bed and the scattered LEGO looked interesting and the general entourage was to match all the enmity. Tiffany Stratton has worked out her part of the fight well and a new hairstyle suits her. Wendy Choo surprisingly did not fall asleep during the match, but was a straight spirit of darkness with a kind face and avenged all the insults and at the same time delighting with her tricks. Well done girls."
[9.0] "If I was showing a match to a friend to show them what 2.0 is all about it would be this one. Its two of the sillier gimmicks but also best workers in the women's division going through an all out war using their character props. The amount of creativity in this match was unreal, from Tiffany's pink chair to the table spot through a bed, it was a great conclusion. Tiffany has only had 16 matches too at this point which is crazy, she has the ring IQ of a veteran."
[6.0] "A "light's out" match isn't meant to be held in literal darkness, although I suppose it helped hide Stratton's many weaknesses as a wrestler. It was a pretty average comedy hardcore match where those two elements cancelled each other out rather than enhanced them. Choo did a good job with the gimmick, and she's someone that deserves a big push, maybe the win here will help that. This was the best match on a poor show."
[7.0] "This was a really good match. Despite her horrible gimmick, Choo is a good worker and Stratton can do some stuff, so I didn't expect it to be bad, but I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. A tennis racket, a trash can, a wrench and a pink chair were all used in an entertaining way alongside some pretty good wrestling. Choo then emptied a pillowcase full of Legos all over the mat. They each prevented the other from hitting moves into the Legos until Stratton caught Choo and hit a fall away slam, unfortunately though, she completely missed the Legos and even when they instantly went back to the Lego spot with a slam, it was pretty underwhelming. Stratton then hit a double foot stomp and the incompetent ref cost Stratton the match by wasting time moving Legos rather than immediately starting the count in the Legos, causing Choo to kick out at 2.9. In the end, Stratton got her own powder thrown in her eyes on the outside then got put through a bed, yes a bed. Choo rolled Stratton in the ring and hit her odd looking top rope finisher for the win. All in all, this was a success. ***3/4"
[7.0] "Unlike AEW's Lights Out matches, NXT took it a bit too literally, holding this one in near darkness and making it a bit too difficult to watch, but the work pulled off by Wendy Choo and Tiffany Stratton compensated for that, working better with fewer limitations. I think Stratton might be fast tracked to the main roster as she has the look and work the company like (both the old regime and the new one), she has certainly showed good in-ring talent."
[8.0] "I'm surprised at how good this match was. This is a feud that has been built up for a month or two, and Tiffany Stratton has somehow continued to improve. She makes this "Rich Daddy's Girl" gimmick work because of the improvement because she might act like a typical blonde rich girl but then she gets in the ring and KICKS ASS and that is what actually matters. Wendy Choo is beloved by both Triple H and Shawn Michaels because she can go in the ring and has done multiple crazy characters for them, so to see these 2 get the main event spot in a match that kicked ass was great. From the LEGOs to the ending sequence of the bed spot to Wendy's finisher. ****"
