[7.0] "Another great TV match on this episode of Raw but I think it's slightly overrated. If your into the slow style of wrestling with few spots and few near falls, this one is for you. If your into the quicker paced matches this one isn't for you. Chad Gable delivers as usual and definitely needs a singles championship at some point. Definitely not a bad match because of the people involved, it's just not my kind of match."
[7.0] "And another one. These three had had one of the best segments all over the year on Monday Night Raw. This fight, that I would have preffered to have it in a PPV, was a pretty satisfactory one to enjoy. [***1/2]"
[8.0] "Owens and Gable wasted no time as they were here to destroy the other. Great clash of styles where both men displayed their best assets on each other. The amount of bumps they both took, damn. Gable did a bunch of his most painful german suplexes as KO took a big pleasure to take it. That was brutal and fucking strong all the way. Not a moment to breath."
[8.0] "BOMBS AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYY! What began with some boilerplate headlocks and corner chops starts heating up when both men decide to just start tossing each other around-- starting with KO landing the lariat and senton. The apron spots delivered by Gable were very clean, and Owens's Frog Splash was picturesque. Gable's German Suplex that dumped Owens right on his neck was just.... chef's kiss."
[8.0] "This was a hella fun match. Kevin Owens and Chad Gable are both so good, and I didn't want this match to end. Kevin Owens hit that move that starts with like a package piledriver from the top rope and that was pretty brutal looking. I was glad to see Kevin Owens finish the match with the Pop-up Powerbomb instead of the stunner. Otis attacks Kevin Owens after the match so I was worried they were going for some 50/50 booking nonsense, but Kevin Owens fended off the attacks of Team Alpha Academy and looked hella strong in the process. Watch this match for sure, it's a real treat."
[8.0] "Excellent weekly match. Chad Gable shows that he is currently one of the most underrated guys on the planet. This is a great match, both wrestlers work well together and it's nice to see that Chad Gable can be resilient. The crowd is awesome and is all over Kevin Owens."
[7.0] "A good fast-paced match. Chad Gable dropping Kevin Owens on his own head with his German Suplexes was really cool, the crowd was white hot for KO and both wrestlers took advantage of it. The closing stretch is pretty nice, and that Pumphandle Neckbreaker coming from the Top Rope was insane, definitely the best part in this match. ***3/4"
[8.0] "Chad Gable warmed up the audience before the match with his insults and bragging. And already in the match, my God, there was a lot of interesting things. Firstly, the insanely cool German suplexes that Kevin took very realistically and his neck just suffered for the sake of Canadian fans. The drama was felt, Owens returns the old self and already relies on his signature moves. I am extremely impressed with Gable's work, he conducted every action super professionally. 11 minutes of top action and only a sharp ending left the impression that the fighters could still surprise. But I think no one will say that it was not enough to feel the coolness of the fighters."
[8.0] "This was really physical all throughout, and hard hitting so this was amazing. Gable hit a plethora of nasty looking German suplexes on KO in this and KO took some hard bumps like the back body drop on the apron, German on the apron and the exploder on the outside, KO back took a lot of punishment in this. Towards the end they had some amazing counters with some nice near falls until KO won with the pop up powerbomb.****1/4"
[9.0] "The best fight of the night, incredible KO as it comes and also surprising Chad Gable as he knew how to carry this fight, very very good and very entertaining."
[8.0] "Another titanic clash orchestrated in such a short period between two individuals who are vying for resurgence in their paths. Owens' repackage as the badass NXT stalwart is something I craved for as he looked more violent, focused and gave the main eventer vibe easily. Gable has no disrespect after a hellacious fight he put here but it's the KO show and he prevailed with authority. The post match assault itself made Owens even stronger and I'm certainly rooting for Owens as a mainstream star he deserved to be years ago. 4 out of 5 stars!"
[8.0] "this whole thing was designed to make ko look like a super bad-ass and it was successful tho i'll never buy him as a chubby, ugly stone cold with a 13 year old's voice. gable is awesome especially at getting heat but he didn't get to shine and work over ko like i expected."
[9.0] "Absolutely great match, with a mix of hard hitting and technical styles, and both men at their best. The "open challenge" format is a good way to set up an interesting match without much back story, and two guys just wanting to prove themselves is as much a story as this needed and to get Owens a match in his home country. Owens got a deserved win, but Gable looked strong in defeat, it will be interesting to see if there's more to come from this story."
[8.0] "A great match, no doubt about it. From start to finish the offense was hard hitting and high impact as well as being technically clean, I don't recall any sloppiness. It was also an even contest throughout, great back and forth action, including trading brutal moves on the apron. They traded near falls with Gable kicking out of a huge frog splash and KO kicking out of a beautiful bridging German suplex. In the end, KO got the win with a pop-up powerbomb then fought off an attack from Otis, culminating in him powerbombing Gable onto Otis, which looked great. Best match on Raw since I started watching again. ****1/4"
[8.0] "The return of NXT era Prizefighter Kevin Owens, as he laid waste to a game Chad Gable in a really good TV match. Hopefully this Owens goes somewhere good."
[7.0] "I'm glad to see KO presented this way. He looks like a badass now. His feud with Ezekiel had its moments but he kinda looked an imbecile. But now I'm in interested again in KO who's an amazing wrestler."
[9.0] "This was absolutely brutal, in the best way possible. Gable really brought it here, delivering tons of nasty suplex's to Owens. On one of them he literally dropped the man on his head on the apron. Owens did a frog splash half way across the ring. Gable got his knees up on a swanton and I question whether Kevin has a functioning back. The avalanche fisherman driver is always a beauty, and Gable's moonsault is too. Clean win for Owens after a pop up power bomb. Fantastic match. [****1/4]"
