[6.0] "Okay match. Kinda boring. These two dont have good chemistry. There's nothing exceptional here but it is mildly entertaining. Not a bad match just not something you should go out of your way too watch. The promo leading in was great. Anyway, that's all."
[6.0] "A perfectly alright WWE match, where their offence never looks the most convincing or exciting but at least their technique is always good. I wish Owens wasn't as heavily aerial-based, since to me his best attacks have always been strikes and, more significantly, his power moves, so seeing him acting like a high-flyer here was disappointing. I was also disappointed that McIntyre's best attacks were the ones that Owens took some sweet acrobatic bumps for, since he clearly holds back on the majority of his offence which makes him far less exciting than how he portrays himself as a character. The final few minutes had a bunch of big-move trades, none of which were especially exciting or natural-looking but most of which were still alright. The match then ended by DQ after the Usos interfered, which was lame. ***"
[6.0] "This was a typical WWE-style match. Pre-match promos from both did a good enough job making this match feel somewhat important, but action, while good, had a ceiling on it and then there was an interference finish."
[8.0] "Great promos before the match. Almost made us think of some inclusion of Owens for the World Title match. Their excanges were great, at a caliber of a PPV. A terrible despicable Owens who almost wanted to destroy a gigantic monster as Mcintyre. The sheenanigans at the end were the right way to end this match. Really nice to make the preview for the world title. Good match. [****]"
[8.0] "Dudes like McIntyre and Owens going all out for the love of pro-wrestling was delicious. The segment they had just before cimented the new path of WWE, their wrestlers can actually say wrestling. McIntyre showed all his bravery wheras Owens displayed that viciousness is sometimes better. They took pleasure to stiff the other, they're feeling way more human. The finish was frustrating and a bit of anticlimatic, but that was the purpose."
[4.0] "This was the most generic, boring match you could possibly have between these two. KO was good on the offense, but the structure was so boring and the pace was slow. It was very big move -> nearfall -> rest in the second half, but none of those moves were exciting or very impactful. **"
[7.0] "Good match that was ruined by a DQ finish as usual from WWE. It was a typical WWE match with slow start and then it picked up with both men trading big moves, countering each other's moves and repeating near falls. Nothing new here but it was still enjoyable for a TV match."
[8.0] "Nice power spots from McIntyre early on that Owens answers with some nice offense, including the second rope moonsault-- not to mention the very pretty Frog Splash from the apron. McIntyre was a monster here with how many big moves he ate, though I hated how long Owens sold his desperation at being unable to put McIntyre away (like... just keep hitting him and win, man). The DQ finish was dumb-- that's all, just dumb."
[7.0] "The finish was disappointing, and it did perhaps veer slightly too close to the modern 'forced epic' style for my taste, but it was really nice to see a competitive match with such physicality on RAW. It felt like a breath of fresh air and between matches like this and the recent presentation of the US Title I am really enjoying the renewed emphasis on wrestling that we have seen on RAW lately."
[8.0] "Outstanding. There were some timing issues early on, but they were sorted out and these two delivered a match that would be worthy of a PPV main event. They both looked like stars of the highest order, as we all know they are. Drew McIntyre is one of the most versatile big men in the history of professional wrestling and Kevin Owens continued to be a Best In The World contender. The man who carried WWE through the pandemic and the heart and soul of the company going at it in a raw, physical, and suspenseful battle. Something tells me we will see this match again one day over a World Championship. Or at least we should. 4.25 stars, 8.5 out of 10. Two of the absolute best in the world showing just how good they are with a story they built through outstanding promos. This is great WWE television."
[8.0] "A few years ago on SmackDown, the fighters met in the same ring and then I already saw their potential to hold a 5-star match in the company. Of course, if it weren't for DQ, it would be interesting to see who could bring the fight to the limit. Drew McIntyre marked a new era with the words that we are wrestlers, answering many competitors from outside and of course showed in practice with KO that they are real men. Nice fight on a nice show."
[8.0] "The pre-match war of words felt epic which wasn't felt so bad in any Raw show looking back. That's one of the huge changes the new era brought - letting the wrestlers be themselves without any prompts and displaying their true selves. The match itself lived up to the hype they created as the action felt crisp and engaging as if it's a PPV caliber/championship showdown. The finish is another rare instance of a dull trope working right thereby protecting the combatants. McIntyre's presentation is great so far which acts as a dangerous threat to Reigns' iconic run as the champion. 4 out of 5 stars!"
[8.0] "8.4/10: Man, this was my favorite segment from Triple H's WWE so far. To let SUPERSTARS (and I don't mean it in the trademarked WWE sense) of the business let loose and blend themselves into their characters is simply one of the things that make pro wrestling the coolest. They had that extra mustard on every blow of this match, and that's more entertaining than any elaborate wrestling move, not that these two don't have those in their toolbags nor are they afraid of using them. Just a great, hearty, character-building match."
[9.0] "What an incredible fight and how well Drew has improved in the promos, without a doubt a great fight, where the only bad thing is inside kayfabe and is the interruption of The Usos."
[4.0] "The promos that set this match up felt fresh and exciting, but the action itself was the complete opposite. Pace is fairly slow and straightforward, none of the moves are worth getting excited about because you know the only possible finish is going to be the claymore, and then the DQ is tired bullshit that makes it all a complete waste of time. All this did was kill off 20 minutes of the three hours that WWE needs to fill every Monday."
[8.0] "This was a time where a DQ finish made sense so I didn't mind it as you can't really beat Owens nor McIntyre here. Match is mainly Owens getting heat on McIntyre but after the break it was fast paced back and forth action with both guys working like it was a PPV match. Drew looked to have the match won down the stretch but The Usos ended up interfering.****"
[8.0] "This match has a NXT TakeOver feel to it. The chemistry between the two is great and it shows in this bout. It's nice to see quality fights on TV without too many commercials too. The disqualification is quite logical so it doesn't take anything away from the fight."
[9.0] "Other then the dq finish this match was amazing and this was a match that I was suprise of what happen and it was a very good match and both men got to shine and both men went back and forth. ****1/4"
[9.0] "An absolute cracker of a match only ruined by a shitty ending. MOTN for sure. Hard hitting 50/50 action with both men getting in amazing offence."
[7.0] "i've never care too much for mcintire but this match reminded me of a young undertaker without the gimmick. be's a big, fast guy who look great and kinda metal. owens came off like a tough heel and really put sympathy on drew. fans were upset with the dq finish so i guess the match got over. i expect a no dq rematch between them will be entertaining."
[10.0] "Perfect promos, great match, right ending for DQ and beautiful post match. Everything booked to perfection. KO and Drew are two fantastic performers and once again they put on a show."
"Great promo segment lead in to an above-average match. Started hot but got labored going into and out of the commercial break. Typical WWE match for the middle but heated up towards the end until the interference. Made sense for storyline but did lead to a pretty cold finish to a solid match. 6.5"
[5.0] "Kevin Owens had to do a lot of heavy lifting here to make this decent. KO lead the offence and looked as impressive as I remember. McIntyre, for his part, did not look good, I don't know if he was selling that he had some kind of back injury, as he mentioned something in his promo, but his movement around the ring was very stiff, laboured and awkward, any time he tried to move with pace looked really bad. Considering the way the match was set-up, it seemed like neither man could really lose, so the Uso's duly obliged by attacking McIntyre for the DQ. Ultimately, KO came out of this looking great and I'd be very happy for him to get another world title reign, while the most positive thing I can say about McIntyre is, at least he didn't have a ridiculous sword like on the episode of Smackdown I watched a few weeks ago."
[9.0] "Hell of an impromptu match here. Both men were crazy over after their fantastic promo segment before the match, which made it even better. Owens dominated in the early going with a vicious cannonball in the corner and a moonsault. Drew eventually gets back into it and it becomes a fast paced back and forth affair, with great counters by both men. The finish was lame, but it planted seeds for the rumoured Owens/Zayn tag title chase, which is very exciting. Really good match. [****1/4]"
[8.0] "Very good and very random match on RAW, Kevin looked great, Drew looked great. DQ ending was meh but what u gonna do, it's bad time to lose for both guys"
