Wellington Wilkins Jr. vs. Yone Genjin

[5.0] "Genjin's gimmick is as weird as anything on top of him doing a clear Brody tribute with the chain and his get-up. They start off with outside brawling as the two just throw shots before Wilkins gets back in and Genjin is left on the outside as he sits on a chair and cools off. I thought their mat-work is actually pretty slick when they aren't brawling as they go from hold to hold. Wilkins rolling through a single leg Boston Crab into a kneebar was a fun highlight. Most of this is garbage brawling though as they go outside for some goofy comedy spots, including Wilkins pushing Genjin around the ring with a trolley into the crowd, causing him to smack into rows of chairs. We get a good moment as the crowd chant for Genjin with him joining in: when a part of the crowd chant for his opponent he gives them death-stares and they chant for him again, which was pretty funny. Contrived ref distractions as the ref magically turns away for a chain shot to the groin and low blow, but does eventually relent when Genjin chokes him with said chain. Both men throw their signature stuff off (including a great jump for a Wilkins backdrop) until the guys walk and brawl to the upper levels of the gymnasium. Match ends in the count-out despite the lads trying to get back so Wilkins just throws him around. Post-match has some shit where Wilkins demands Genjin get in but he ends up wandering off and trying to use a stationary bike and failing. Genjin does some more wacky shit before wandering off. This is fine enough for a random undercard brawl with some fun comedy moments throughout as Wilkins plays the straight man to Genjin's antics. It's kinda played off as a proto-DDT showing as it's mostly just nonsense with spots thrown in here and there. Not bad; just not really my cup of tea, especially when they spend what seems like forever on the outside not doing a whole lot."
