David Finlay vs. YOSHI-HASHI

[6.0] "Very forgettable G1 encounter that felt heatless, even though Finlay was trying to be more aggressive here trying to win the D block. YOSHI-HASHI does a nice job selling the shoulder injury from previous matches, but it doesn't seem to elevate the match any higher. The flash pinfall was nicely executed as YOSHI-HASHI faked going for his Karma finisher. ***"

[5.0] "Maybe this one could be better, but at least ended with a nice surprise and with some explosive interactions. Lacked of some more emotion, specifically at the beggining of the match. Adequate that could be even better. [**1/2]"

[7.0] "Pretty enjoyable opener to start us off here, and a nice way for YOSHI's great tournament to come to an end. I liked Finlay's targeting and the shock ending with the rollup, which costs Finlay the D-Block."

[8.0] "A great opener for this card and was just plain fun to keep your eyes on the screen for the whole runtime"

[6.0] "A nondescript duel between two bright fighters. I am surprised that it turned out so emotionless and stereotypical. There was a feeling that the fighters were just resting in the duel and saving up for the final matches for the following days. I didn't see much motivation here, although I recognize their work as just normal. There is much to praise, but let's go to the next match."

[6.0] "A fine match, great back and forth throughout. I wanted a bit more from the finish here, but as the opening block match of the night, it was good. **3/4"

[6.0] "I felt that was a decent match. YOSHI-HASHI winning made the most sense. I don? t think that was either man? s best match. Not bad, but a more forgettable one. 6/10"

[7.0] "I liked this pretty well. Enjoyed the story of YOSHI-HASHI's shoulder from the previous match being carried over into this one. In addition, the fact that Finlay's over attention to said shoulder was what essentially caused his defeat was *chef's kiss*."

[7.0] "Good match with super solid booking and super solid execution. Nice stuff from start to finish. YOSHI-HASHI is always good in the G1."

[6.0] "Being the first singles match of the night it didn't get the time it needed to marinate, but it was still a good match. Nothing too memorable but a nice flash win ***1/4"

[6.0] "This match was decent. I liked the power and intensity that YOSHI-HASHI brought out of the gate with a strong tackle. Some good technical wrestling on display also from David Finlay. I really liked the length of this match also. Quick conclusion that was satisfying and enjoyable."

[6.0] "Never really got going in my opinion, lots of potential between these two and I think in a longer match it could be great."

[7.0] "The 7-way-tie factor added a lot of stakes to this match. David Finaly and Yoshi-Hashi have been the MVPs of the D Block and this match did not disappoint, even if it was a bit short."

[7.0] "Pretty good match. Very well done Finlay's domination during the match, and last 3 minutes was good with HASHI comeback and rolling Finlay up. It could be better, giving them 5 more minutes, but it is still nice. ***1/2"

[7.0] "A bit shorter than I'd like, but YOSHI-HASHI and David worked hard to make the use of every second. YOSHI-HASHI fought his tail off, because if David won here he win the D Block, and YOSHI-HASHI's fighting kept everyone else's G1 dreams alive. Good stuff."
