Jade Cargill vs. Madison Rayne

[2.0] "This match had many botches through and neither women had zero chemistry with each other no matter how they tried to."

[5.0] "Typisches 0815 Cargill Match, und die sind nun mal leider nicht wirklich gut meistens. Das Finish hat mir aber richtig gut gefallen, was das Match dann schon etwas aufwerten kann. Rayne macht einen ordentlichen Job, ist aber nun mal auch keine Topwrestlerin. Cargill zeigt weiterhin ihre typischen Moves, die ja auch stark aussehen, dazwischen ist aber leider fast nix."

[4.0] "Oof, PAINFUL, Madison Rayne is out of her prime and it just hurts to watch, Jade did not look that great either."

[3.0] "Rayne and Cargill had no chemistry. Both women tried in the ring but it did not work as a match A couple botches were noticeable and the flow of the match was not right."

[5.0] "Oh my, it seems that Jade is still lacking of some training for her moves and her sellings. Madison tried to put a good match, but it was obvious that they hadn't have enough chemistry to ger it. There were some nice moves, but not enough to even be a satisfactory match. It's more than adequate for me. [**1/2]"

[3.0] "Das war schon außer vielleicht dem Ende ein so lala Match. Es war jetzt nicht katastrophal, ich fand es aber auch nicht mal okay, sodass ich für dieses Match 3 Punkte für angemessen halte, da es selbst unter AEW Dynamite Women's Division Matches Standard war und das deutlich."

[4.0] "Die endsequenz war cool, sonnst sehr schleppend? .kein Reinfall, aber auch nicht wirklich gut. Jade wird aber weiter gut präsentiert, gefällt mir"

[3.0] "Sehr Schwaches Match.Jade hat noch viel Arbeit vor sich, aber sie verbessert sich, Madison's Leistung war aber leider furchbar sloppy und unasbar behäbig, das war nix. *1/2"

[6.0] "I didn't expect much from this match (actually I don't expect anything from Jade Cargill and her terrible ring skill), but this one surprised me along with the match against Anna Jay at Rampage I think this is one of the best fights for the TBS Title to come being buried more and more by a champion who doesn't know how to fight and a terrible booking."

[4.0] "The girls sadly back at their place : the piss-break before the main-event. They worked decently, even if they haven't the best chemistry. Maybe, the size difference didn't help. Nevertheless, Rayne did her best to put over Cargill. The champ looked strong as always, but she needs to put on some another work. Some exchanges looked well, but others were pretty awkward. Otherwise, I really liked the finish, the only smooth thing in this bout."

[5.0] "Normally I grade Cargill matches on a bit of a curve due to her inexperience but even with that curve this wasn't that good. Rayne is a very good wrestler but she just isn't the right opponent to work with Jade's style. I'm glad though that Ember seems to finally be challenging for the title."

[3.0] "I actually thought this would be much worse. Madison Rayne was a woefully dull challenger and for once it was actually Jade who drove what little in the match that was good."

[8.0] "Jade Cargill wird immer besser und Madison Rayne ist ohnehin große Klasse. Der Kampf hätte besser vorbereitet werden können, dann hätte er größere Aufmerksamkeit erreichen können."

[5.0] "I thought that was an alright match. The pacing wasn't entirely there, but Jade's raw strength was impressive. I do think that Athena is a good choice to be the next challenger, as Statlander is hurt (hearing that broke my heart). Not bad, but not great. Madison Rayne wasn't really in it that much. 5/10"

[6.0] "Satisfactory match, some lack of chemistry but the story was nicely told and Madison Rayne looked great."

[3.0] "Jade Cargill has been in business for so long and is still the only one who stands out with her looks and natural charisma. On the mats, she can't show something bright and create her own unique set of techniques. Madison Rayne is more suitable for the company as a coach and a talent seeker, she is still in a different era in the ring."

[2.0] "Another awful performance from Jade, and there wasn't much Rayne could to about it. She's not exactly a great talent either, but is miles above Cargill, but this just dragged her down to that level."

[2.0] "Jade was a little more sloppy here than usual but she's getting better. Madison is still terrible and belongs in the diva era"

[1.0] "This was a bad Jade Cargill match, which is notable because she doesn't really have good matches (yet). Madison Rayne looked awful here."

[5.0] "Jade continues to have more charisma and presence just standing still then 99% of modern wrestlers jack drawing their face of, it is just a shame the bell rings."

[6.0] "Decent match. Had some sloppiness, but overall entertaining. I like Madison Rayne, but she's obviously not able to do what she used to. Jade is never good, IMO. I hope they can get the belt off her, but Madison is obviously not going to get it that quick. Hopefully Athena will beat Jade in their matchup they've been building up to."

[7.0] "Nothing special but these marks are ridiculous. There were some nice counters and Jade looked strong."

[6.0] "Little bit underrated honestly, but nothing too special. Jade looks good, Madison was outmatched admittedly but this was fine. **3/4"

[5.0] "Pretty slow match with too much waiting around between spots to be anything beyond average, but I was impressed enough by some of Jade's strength spots and Rayne's DDT counter to not give it a lower rating."

[4.0] "Under my point of view it was a bad fight, it was not at the height of what Madison Rayne could offer us, you can tell that Jade still needs to improve more technique or at least have more chemistry with the wrestlers, we always end up seeing irrelevant fights and that we know that she will win, and that it will be something without much to talk about."

[4.0] "A dull, bad match, but not exceptionally awful in any way. The only highlight was Cargill's incredibly impressive gorilla press slam, but all the other offence here was either generic or weakly executed. Rayne didn't embarrass herself or anything but nothing she did in this match was memorable or interesting. It's rare to see Cargill wrestle matches this competitive, and Rayne really needed to bring more to the table if we were supposed to believe Cargill was in danger. Despite being less than eight minutes, this felt like a drag, and while Cargill looked decent, I can't think of anything to recommend about this or any reason to watch it back."

[7.0] "I don't get the rating here. This was definitely one of the most solid Cargill defenses. Madison is a veteran who has worked with big imposing women before and knew the best way to work the match isn't to do anything flashy but to just take some power moves and sell the hell out of them before some quick hope spots. Simple and effective I would say, more so than some of the more eventful but sloppy defenses of this reign. Puts Jade over a woman with 15 years experience on her and much more time on TV as a champion. ***+ but a 7 since the rating being before a 4 makes no sense to me."

[3.0] "Awkward and clunky. I have no clue why they signed Madison Rayne. She may be a veteran, but she has never been good at any point in her career. This match just further illustrated that point. I liked some of Jade's power spots, but other than that this was not good at all."

[4.0] "Not a total disaster but still a bad match. Madison Rayne was never good and she still isn't and Jade is terrible. Way too long. Atleast the crowd cared at some points."

[6.0] "Ich glaube langsam kann Jade Cargill machen was sie will, bestimmte Leute werden nichts von ihr gut finden selbst wenn ihre Arbeit völlig in Ordnung ist wie hier im Match gegen Madison Rayne als Demonstrierung ihrer Stärke in einem annehmbaren TV-Match. Manche bleiben biased, was schade ist."

[1.0] "Worse than I thought. There were so many bad moments. Jade wasn't doing great and there was horrible psychology from Madison Rayne. When I watched her awkward and bad entrance without a little bit of charisma I was legit feeling bad for her, but the match got me laughing too much. How is she a trainer? I'm not saying she can't be used as a jobber because even Slim J is doing okay on Dark, but HOW is she a trainer? At least I still have to see Jericho vs Mox that will make me feel better"

[6.0] "Not a technical clinic but they did decent considering to the very short buildup to this match. Some sloppy spots at times though."

[6.0] "I thought they worked pretty well, a classic tale of the veteran vs. the rookie. Both of their offense looked good but Jade was sloppy like one time, looking forward to Jade vs. Athena."

[5.0] "A skippable title match, it wasn't the most interesting bout ever and there was some clunkyness but I didn't feel like it was outright terrible, just underwhelming"

[6.0] "This was fine. Jade looked strong in it, and Madison gave some decent work in despite being at this stage in her career."

[3.0] "There's something about the way that Jade moves in the ring... I don't know if this is the best word to describe it but her movements are sort of awkward (? ) and it's become more apparent the more I've seen her wrestle. She can do a lot of cool spots that get the crowd behind her, but she still has a lot of work ahead of her in terms of selling and comfortably moving around in the ring."

[4.0] "Yeah Madison just ain? t good. Jade tried, but when you? re getting carried by a rookie it? s tough. Watchable ig but nowhere near good"

[4.0] "Not terrible overall but suffered from some poor execution in several spots. Madison's offense looked a little awkward at times, possibly due to the size difference. They had a couple of nice looking sequences though."

[3.0] "You'd think that after 30 something matches Jade would have drastically changed since her first appearance. However, she has remained almost the same throughout her year plus career. There is obviously a star to be made out of Jade, but it hasn't been shown yet. Not god awful, not good either, just palatable. *1/2"

[1.0] "This was brutal. I like Madison but she's not got the moveset or speed at this point in her career to wrestle a 50/50 match with someone who's supposed to be an all conquering monster in the ring. I guess the finish counter was alright, Jade's had some creative finishes in her run."
